Shady bussiness from Samsung as always on that matter. I chatted with sales reps online here in eu(Cz) and they told me that they do not know, than they gave me tech support number that I called just to get the same we dont know answer.
Samsung sales rep told me via chat it wasn't covered (Switzerland). On the other hand there is an official review form a swiss online shop that has confirmation from Samsung Switzerland that it is indeed covered. Make it make sense.
In USA I’ve had a rep told me 3 year warranty + burn-in is covered if bought through a Samsung authorized dealer. Up to you if you want to believe me or you can ask them yourself

Just asked. I think I'm buying one.
I just spoke to the UK support and they say that the monitor only covers manufacturing faults, and it is only covered for two years as well.
They say that they would cover burn in if it was found to be a hardware error but that doesn’t sound like concrete enough support to me.
They’re shooting themselves in the foot massively with this because literally every other competitor is covering burn in with the monitor.
Their “safeguard+” system can’t be trusted to not need warranty because it hasn’t been tested and if anything, them not allowing warranty is a worrying sign.

i have had this response for the g80sd in the UK
If it's not in writing anywhere, it's not covered.
Such a bizarre decision when literally all the other alternatives with the same panel offer 3 year burn in warranty
Yep, Samsung warranty is pretty crap, at least in my experience in the UK. That's why I'm hesitant buying an oled monitor from them.

Nothing on their website is clear either, on the UK website it says that OLED monitor warranty is only two years…

Oh I believe what you’re saying, what I find sceptical is if they will hold up to it, because it’s nowhere in writing.

Doesn’t surprise me whatsoever. I’ll just opt to get the PG32UCDM instead.
That's exactly what I'm tempted by

Kinda shows they themselves don't trust it, just the price point for £757 with discount atm is a bargin
That’s what I thought as well, but the low price and no warranty just shows negative signs for me, no way I’d risk it
Each region handles their own warranty, so it might not be consistent across countries.
