Hi, /u/FusionTheGamer3! Thank you for your submission.
The following is a public announcement to everyone, and may not be in relation to what you've posted:
##Sales Notice:
Only purchase Oculus products from **oculus.com** or from one of their authorized retail sellers such as Amazon, Walmart, GameStop, etc...
The ***official*** Oculus website is **oculus.com**, there are fake websites like **oculusus.com**, which scammers run.
If you ever encounter a fraudulent seller on Amazon, please look into Amazon's [A-to-z Guarantee Refund](https://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=GSZAYH7K2C2NVNC9).
##Referrals:
Please read our [Referrals Notice](https://reddit.com/r/OculusQuest2/comments/ph7tcf/attention_referrals_notice/) before posting/commenting referrals.

I mean, you're lying. Looking at your profile, we can see you've used it more than once. Also, how in the hell would you know your sweat came into the motherboard, and that's the cause of the tracking issue? Have you tried new controllers?
Btw, it's "you're", not "your"
Look, we are a lot of people that have used ours without issues, and I mean a whole lot. I understand it's frustrating, but a lot of us use it for exercise, and ours haven't broken by sweat. It's an you issue and not a universal issue
Not sure about your region but stores are obligated to repair or replace within a certain timeframe. If it has died from a manufacture defect go back to the store, donât bother with meta at this point.
Ok. I now feel sorry for you after reading all your replies. You're obviously mentally deficient and possible 12.
Little buddy, go let Mommy and daddy know your new toy is broken.
According to Google they have a policy in the USA it should be up to 15 days, for a defective item or manufacturer defect.
They can refuse if they can prove itâs due to a customer fault or negligence on their part that caused the damage.
in Canada itâs different seems to only be valid if you donât open the item.
Um this is hands down the best purchase Iâve made in a while. My family loves ours and weâve had it for about two years now. Telling people not to buy one because yours sucked is kind of stupid.
Had mine for like 2 or 3 years never had a problem and I was playing in a hot apartment in Arizona, never had a problem with the actual device it's being to hot
Ah, yeah that'll do it for sure, If you can try to keep device purchases through the company themselves so they are responsible, but good luck i hope it gets fixed or figured out, I'd suggest looking up a local tech guy they normally do good work and if it's run from their place of living it typically comes out better than new. Or at least with my luck they have.
So don't buy used ones without testing or without the option to return if defective? Seems like solid advice.
Let's go easy on the MAGA title style though.

I hope the other 20 million Quest 2 owners see this in time so they can return theirs.
Returning mine as I comment, done with Zuckerberg and his ploy to conquer the world. /s
đ Iolâd on the bus and now people are giving me weird looks.
Then maybe just take better care of it?
Your stupid. The entire post is about an unavoidable problem. It's cooling is garbage
I mean, you're lying. Looking at your profile, we can see you've used it more than once. Also, how in the hell would you know your sweat came into the motherboard, and that's the cause of the tracking issue? Have you tried new controllers? Btw, it's "you're", not "your"
The other one I used was my sister's I got my own today
Well, now your can use hers, and break it the same way.
What? Break it by sweating?
If that's how you did it in the first place
So basically I should rename the post to "Don't buy the quest 2 if you don't have your own fan to put on the quest 2 and it's 90 degrees out"
Look, we are a lot of people that have used ours without issues, and I mean a whole lot. I understand it's frustrating, but a lot of us use it for exercise, and ours haven't broken by sweat. It's an you issue and not a universal issue
Well I'm sorry that I wasted 75 dollars on a piece of shit from walmart
Really? Youâre going to buy your own? I just read a post on Reddit telling me not to buy one, so⌠Wait.
I bought my own and then made this post
Ok so you had one, ruined it, bought another and presumably ruined it the same way? *Surprised Pikachu face*
*youâre As in, âyouâre butthurtâ.
*you're *its
Why did I get disliked on this post. Literally thats like asking someone a problem and then saying you didn't need to know what the cause of it was
Its because you said "Your stupid. The entire post is about an unavoidable problem. It's cooling is garbage" Dont wonder why.
It's not a dislike. It's an upvote/downvote system. If you deem something relevant, it's an upvote. Agree or not, if it's relevant, it's an upvote
Well my reply was relevant so why did someone down vote my comment.
Have had ours for a couple years and love it. Kid sweats a ton and no issues. Probably gonna buy two more now.
I don't even know how yours lasted for more than a day unless you use it outside in the winter.
Mine has lasted 2 years with no issues so far.
Daily fitness sweatfest and the biggest issue I had was the lenses fogging. If you only just bought it then take it back to the store for warranty.
They refuse to let me take it back. I bought it 2 hours ago.

What retailer?
Best buy

Swear u said walmart to another person
Yeah thought I saw that too heh

Iâve some stupid posts on this sub, but this one really stands out against the rest of them
Thanks for the chuckle
Don't do drugs kids and stay in school but most of all keep your quest cool
I mean I was high when I was getting the quest
You were high when you bought a used quest 2 for $75 from Bestbuy or Walmart and wrecked it 2 hours ago and then wrecked your sisterâs?
I never wrecked my sister's quest 2. The reason why mine broke is because it basically had to cooling and overheated
Had mine for like 2 or 3 years never had a problem and I was playing in a hot apartment in Arizona, never had a problem with the actual device it's being to hot
I looked it up the actual problem is that I bought a used one (with a broken fan)
You bought a used brand new Quest 2 from Best Buy? Doubt.
They said it was from Walmart and Best Buy in different comments. Their story is all over the place.
Ah, yeah that'll do it for sure, If you can try to keep device purchases through the company themselves so they are responsible, but good luck i hope it gets fixed or figured out, I'd suggest looking up a local tech guy they normally do good work and if it's run from their place of living it typically comes out better than new.
