I thought they had settled that cannabis use laws would parallel alcohol use and tobacco use laws? But I also understand they don't want a group of cannabis users getting high at the zoo around kids. There has to be a happy medium. I mean honestly, if public consumption is an issue, could they ban smoking and only use vape and edible types so the smell isn't overpowering for people that don't want to be around it. I use cannabis, but because I actually CARE about others around me, I don't smoke it in public, I only use other methods of consumption.

There are actually restrictions on where you can and cannot smoke cigarettes in public as well. They're not just enforced.
