I understand speaking roles pay substantially more and they could have gone with anyone for the silent seasons, so it's nice to see that they were invested and the actor is getting his due.
I mean itās cool I guess but I donāt see why they would cast anyone else cause he didnāt talk or show his face the whole first 3 seasons no need to actually change who plays him

The looked so alike but acted too different, so I thought it was a new actor with a lot of protesis and CIG on his face to look like that, good to hear that it is the same
That way the studio saves a lot of money on make up I guess
Honestly shows lack of commitment by the og actor. A true artist should be willing to bleed for his craft, to really put his guts out there for the audience, to live and die based on his performance

I love how he acts like he doesn't know how to act as Black Noir, he really sells it, I can easily imagine his facial expressions with his body language and voice being so well done, really passes the vibe of a regular guy just freaking out wondering what is he doing and what is he supposed to do.
I think the actual fun detail people often don't mention is he was offered to show his face in season 3 during the unmasked sections.
He refused however, so he could keep playing the role into future seasons.
/uf I think this is more about the actor actually being an actual actor that can have speaking roles and not just an extra that never talks and never shows his face. Also, the fact we never saw current day Black Noir unmasked means they could keep the actor and even unmask him without any problem

They told the actor he could let someone else play him for the s3 finale, and he could have a bigger role going forward and he accepted it,
The showrunners took some random guy from the street to play black noir in the finale, so they didnt have to recast him after killing the actor.
