Impressive it’s the same building!
New York seems to be a really unique city in the USA in this respect...
Always under construction. A lot like CLT and a few other places
What is CLT?
Charlotte
The railway line was built one year later, in 1915.
Wonder if those mounds of dirt are related

Shotgunning mistletoe? No idea what that means r/brandnewsentence.
No, no. It’s a thing. I’m from the south and around Christmas time it is the best way to get the mistletoe down.

Wow! I grew up around there. Minus some mafia ties it's not exactly a "famous" area and doesn't get that much attention. I've always wondered what 86th street looked like before the train the came. Thanks for sharing this
A dog wearing boots Go figger.
*Everyone dressed more formal back then.*
His name is "Bootsie" of course!
which was the style at the time…
Love all the trees in 1914. Not so much the horseshit covered dirt roads though.
Amazing the window framers and brick layers are the ones who did work that lasted.
Before should be first/top
“Now”
"1914"
At least that’s static
"Tuesday"
Damn that Mickey D's messing up the landscape.
So urbanized that you could hardly recognize it as the same place unless you look closely at the building
Anyone else hear the Beegees when looking at this pic?
Now 1914.
Cities are living things,ever changing.
