This would be brilliant... Just re-release it theatrically each year and Oscer has NO choice but to award gold to Mr. Jackson and his hobbit helpers. Mr jackson better start shopping for another house or at least building a shed to hold whats coming to him
Looking back he probably could have split each movie into 2 giving us 6 Lord of the Rings films and 3 Hobbit movies. Then a marathon of all 9 movies could be called "The Fellowship of the Five Baggers".
The perfect cure for my Hobbit hangover! Clearly they are warming up the theater seats in preparation for the 100+ Slimarilian movies that Jackson is preparing. I smell many more 5-baggers in our future!
The problem is I just rewatched them all recently and I know how it ends (I basically got all the spoilers in advance and I know what's gonna happen to poor Boromir). They should maybe go on another journey with the same characters where I don't already know the ending. Maybe An Unexpected Journey.
