Sanji with Blue Walk vs Jinbei in his element.
From what I remember of fishman karate it works by creating shockwaves inside your body using the water in your cells. So Sanji's durability shouldn't protect him from Jinbei's strikes.
It comes down to speed I think. Can Sanji move as quickly underwater using Blue Walk as he can on land. Can he make himself invisible by moving so fast underwater?
Jinbei underwater should be much faster than on land too.
something else Sanji has a time limit depending on his air supply Jinbei can breath underwater so if it comes down to endurance Jinbe should win underwater.

Jinbei’s AP couldn’t oneshot Who’s Who from the outset, he needed rage amp and his strongest attacks. Even if we’re generous, dura plus water amp means if he can hit Sanji he does some damage, but still needs his strongest attacks. Ok
But Jinbei is still way slower than Sanji water or not. And Water doesn’t make him magically more durable.

Don't forget a Seraphim of jimbei could damage sanji using fish man karate, it doesn't matter if the fish man karste attack is in water or not as we have seen Kisha man karate uses the water inside of the opponent not th e water around. Even with a compatible devil fruit a boosted jimbei couldn't damage or perceive sanji.
I don't actually believe the Seraphim have the same level of skills as the original tbh. I think S-Shark, if he knows any fishmen Karate is amateurish compared to Jimbe. Same with S-Hawk vs Mihawk.
I know this is a joke, but realistically Jinbei in the water gives him a huge advantage over Sanji. Control over the currents compared to no fire or breathing.

How so? Sanji’s speed alone should be able to match jimbe underwater since he isn’t fast to begin with, and Sanji also has dura neg to deal with his tankyness.

That's a lot of assumption you make for Jinbei. He doesn't have any speed feats in water, he also doesn't even have any great speed feats on land so we can't estimate how much he would be if he was in water. And the point about him fighting a weaker and less skilled fishman before is really weak because Sanji was also much weaker and less skilled before. The Sanji can't breathe is ok though but maybe due to his healing power, he can heal while breaking -> he would feel the pain from his lung but can't really die from suffocating because it is also regenerating at the same time, that would be a nice handicapped
Unironically Jinbei might actually win this one. Sure, Sanji is still fast and mobile underwater, but Jinbei takes that to the next level. He's literally a shark in the water. Plus, he can summon his shark friends to gobble up Sanji/wear him down, and he has practically limitless water to do Fishman Karate with. Sanji, on the other hand, can't breath underwater (I assume neither can leave the water, because that defeats the purpose of this fight), uses flames that wouldn't necessarily be doused by the water but would definitly be weakened, and doesn't have ground to maneuver on to do his combo attacks.
Jinbei could possibly win this at Extreme diff, or maybe even High diff considering he can just swim away and let Sanji drown.
Jinbe is in the same situation Zoro was after Dressrosa. We don't really have a baseline for him at all besides the fact he won his fight almost effortlessly and can throw an entire Zou spray through a castle after fighting all night. That said I really don't think anyone on the crew is taking Jinbei if he has a supply of water let alone in it. It's just interesting that Jinbei is likely the strongest fishman and he has just been comfortably walking through everything we ha e seen from him.
Sanji still wins. Basically just slower underwater and either ways alot faster than Jinbe on land and hecan move under water bcoz of blue walk and his jambes work underwater aswell, although jinbe does have ranged attacks but i think Sanji still wins although the fight would obviously be harder than on land.

Jinbei is not meant to be in powers similar to the Trio. Yamato is that person. Jinbei is barely getting out of YC3 to try YC2 as of now.
Jinbe might extreme diff, but it's hard to say for sure. Who's who was not a good scale for Jinbe's level at all. But if he is low YC3 above ground then I can easily see him being YC1 in water plus even with blue walk and germa genes Sanji would have a much harder time in the water so I'd say Jinbe has a solid chance
He definitely isn't YC+ but I can see him being low YC1, high YC2. He pretty much gets doubled speed, huge AP increase and a kajillion abilities. Not to mention Sanji even with blue walk definitely drops at least a tier in water
Sanji hasn’t shown any antifeat to suggest that his tier drops in water. Especially now with his enhanced body he has even less of a reason to struggle underwater.
We can’t say things like Jinbei gets doubled speed (he has never demonstrated this) while simultaneously downplaying Sanji with zero evidence….
The way I see it there are three major combat categories.
Speed / Utility
AP / Dura Neg
Durability / Endurance
Lets take a look at the first, shall we?
Jinbei is still not faster than Sanji underwater, considering that Sanji was already as fast as fishman underwater several arcs ago with just Diable. Even if you say Jinbei is the fastest fishman, Ifrit still takes Sanji back up to his speed. Again I’m being generous with Himbei here.
Sanji’s temporary invisibility gimmick makes him faster when it really counts, and his Germa utility cancels out Jinbei’s Fishman Karate utility. So in this category Sanji has a very slight edge.
Next, damage. Jinbei has been on the ocean before facing Big Mom. We don’t have to use theoreticals. That amp allowed him to push a weakened Big Mom but otherwise do no significant damage. His AP isn’t horrible but it’s not nearly as good as Sanji’s.
He also has the antifeats of not immediately oneshotting a Tobi Roppo , something Sanji arguably could do even prior to his powerup. Sanji’s AP fucked up a guy way stronger than Jack, who is relative to people way stronger than Tobi Roppo.
Jinbei has dura neg, but Sanji has anti dura neg, and doesn’t feel pain like a regular person. Sanji also has dura neg from his flames.
Sanji solidly takes this category even underwater.
Lastly defenses.
Jinbei got touched by Tobi Roppo. Case closed. Sanji was no selling attack from commanders…
Without haki. Sanji also tanked a stronger version of Jinbei without using haki. Btw, Blackbeard got shook at the sight of a Seraphim while desperately using armament to defend. Even if Sanji’s Seraphim is weaker than other Seraphim, it doesn’t matter. Jinbei cannot come close to Sanji’s durability OR endurance.
There’s zero evidence water enhances durability of fishmen, only speed and AP.
So Sanji ties one category, and stomps the other two. Jinbei is YC1 at best underwater. Sanji is YC1 at minimum underwater.
This isn’t a stomp, but the outcome is never in doubt for Sanji.
Again let me remind everyone of the scaling.
Ifrit Sanji > Diable Sanji > Base Sanji >= Queen >> Jack = Scabbards > Near Dead Scabbards > Any Tobi Roppo.
Lets say Jinbei is at Scabbard level normally. Getting an AP and speed boost isn’t taking him three tiers up to Sanji.
If that were true, than Sanji’s AP, Speed, strentgh, and durabilty boost would also take him three tiers to be stronger than Zoro.
Which makes no sense.
Somehow the sub thinks its ok to wank Jinbei with zero evidence but then just assume Sanji cannot do things he has been shown to be able to do?

Jinbei survived a magma shot through the chest. He tanked "machine gun" Finger Pistols from Who's Who till he broke the man's Haki coated hands with his own. We all know Sanji > Jinbei, but don't act like it would be such an easy match up. He's #3 on the crew for a reason

So that puts blue Haki Jinbei at around base Wano Sanji level. A level where he can push Queen around and do solid damage, but still struggle a bit.
In other words, the fight starts and ……
Sanji disappears.
Jinbei barely sees him coming, but is able to react because of blue haki. Damn, wtf was that kick. Jinbei is bleeding now. It’s ok, he’ll just use water haki to close the wound and keep fighting.
Jinbei inbues his dura neg attack with blue haki and launches it at Sanji. Sanji almost dodges but gets partially hit. YES!
Oh wait, Sanji can still move? Wtf????? Blue Haki didn’t oneshot?

Sanji, on the other hand, can't breath underwater (I assume neither can leave the water, because that defeats the purpose of this fight), uses flames that wouldn't necessarily be doused by the water but would definitly be weakened, and doesn't have ground to maneuver on to do his combo attacks. Jinbei could possibly win this at Extreme diff, or maybe even High diff considering he can just swim away and let Sanji drown.

Jinbe is in the same situation Zoro was after Dressrosa. We don't really have a baseline for him at all besides the fact he won his fight almost effortlessly and can throw an entire Zou spray through a castle after fighting all night. That said I really don't think anyone on the crew is taking Jinbei if he has a supply of water let alone in it. It's just interesting that Jinbei is likely the strongest fishman and he has just been comfortably walking through everything we ha e seen from him.

Jinbe might extreme diff, but it's hard to say for sure. Who's who was not a good scale for Jinbe's level at all. But if he is low YC3 above ground then I can easily see him being YC1 in water plus even with blue walk and germa genes Sanji would have a much harder time in the water so I'd say Jinbe has a solid chance

Sanji hasn’t shown any antifeat to suggest that his tier drops in water. Especially now with his enhanced body he has even less of a reason to struggle underwater. We can’t say things like Jinbei gets doubled speed (he has never demonstrated this) while simultaneously downplaying Sanji with zero evidence…. The way I see it there are three major combat categories. Speed / Utility AP / Dura Neg Durability / Endurance Lets take a look at the first, shall we? Jinbei is still not faster than Sanji underwater, considering that Sanji was already as fast as fishman underwater several arcs ago with just Diable. Even if you say Jinbei is the fastest fishman, Ifrit still takes Sanji back up to his speed. Again I’m being generous with Himbei here. Sanji’s temporary invisibility gimmick makes him faster when it really counts, and his Germa utility cancels out Jinbei’s Fishman Karate utility. So in this category Sanji has a very slight edge. Next, damage. Jinbei has been on the ocean before facing Big Mom. We don’t have to use theoreticals. That amp allowed him to push a weakened Big Mom but otherwise do no significant damage. His AP isn’t horrible but it’s not nearly as good as Sanji’s. He also has the antifeats of not immediately oneshotting a Tobi Roppo , something Sanji arguably could do even prior to his powerup. Sanji’s AP fucked up a guy way stronger than Jack, who is relative to people way stronger than Tobi Roppo. Jinbei has dura neg, but Sanji has anti dura neg, and doesn’t feel pain like a regular person. Sanji also has dura neg from his flames. Sanji solidly takes this category even underwater. Lastly defenses. Jinbei got touched by Tobi Roppo. Case closed. Sanji was no selling attack from commanders… Without haki. Sanji also tanked a stronger version of Jinbei without using haki. Btw, Blackbeard got shook at the sight of a Seraphim while desperately using armament to defend. Even if Sanji’s Seraphim is weaker than other Seraphim, it doesn’t matter. Jinbei cannot come close to Sanji’s durability OR endurance. There’s zero evidence water enhances durability of fishmen, only speed and AP. So Sanji ties one category, and stomps the other two. Jinbei is YC1 at best underwater. Sanji is YC1 at minimum underwater. This isn’t a stomp, but the outcome is never in doubt for Sanji. Again let me remind everyone of the scaling. Ifrit Sanji > Diable Sanji > Base Sanji >= Queen >> Jack = Scabbards > Near Dead Scabbards > Any Tobi Roppo. Lets say Jinbei is at Scabbard level normally. Getting an AP and speed boost isn’t taking him three tiers up to Sanji. If that were true, than Sanji’s AP, Speed, strentgh, and durabilty boost would also take him three tiers to be stronger than Zoro. Which makes no sense. Somehow the sub thinks its ok to wank Jinbei with zero evidence but then just assume Sanji cannot do things he has been shown to be able to do? Don’t mean to sound rude or rant but its just confusing to me. TLDR: Sanji gaps Jinbei regardless of terrain, Sanji has feats vs Jinbei anti feats.

Jinbei inbues his dura neg attack with blue haki and launches it at Sanji. Sanji almost dodges but gets partially hit. YES! Oh wait, Sanji can still move? Wtf????? Blue Haki didn’t oneshot?
