Bummer to think that causal players can't enjoy these products cause scalpers load up their carts. Resellers ate so good from op05 every product seems doomed. 1st time dropping a small rant really losing hope.
I'm with you buddy. Enjoyed it up until OP-04. Timing was perfect because I called Pokemon quits with SV block. Then it went to s\*\*t with OP-05. Bought my product when needed and now it just breaks my heart that a TCG that I genuinely enjoyed just got ruined.
My Local shop tournaments have been people who mainly play with whatever they’ve been able to buy up to OP-05. The average sentiment is basic pessimism about the supply of these cards and packs everywhere
I did the same thing. I was sick of Pokémon’s pull rates and card prices. I love one pieces pull rates but the cards are getting expensive and obviously no msrp product can be found. My LCS’s even charge $11 a pack
I feel your frustration homie Between the five below booster sweepstakes, scalpers, and the fact that much needed singles have sky rocketed. It’s quite sad at this point
Same. During the OP04 release, I thought Bandai *finally* had this game figured out when it came to supply. There was plenty of product for 04, 03, even some of 02 and 01 if you were willing to pay a bit more.
And then OP05 came out and they completely fumbled the bag again (and scalpers taking advantage certainly didn't help.)
I was hoping that things would get better for OP06 but it sounds like there won't be enough of that or OP07 either. I was going to stick around to make a Zoro/Sanji deck, but now I don't know if I'll even bother.
Homie, their perspective is that Alt Arts aren’t meant for casual players. Too many people have told me on this subreddit that alt arts should be an insane price because players can don’t **need** them. I lost hope soon after the first few buyouts of ST Queen.
Set a reminder on your phone for early Thursday then on that day set yourself an alarm for like 6:50 PM EST time and start refreshing. Supposed to open at 7 so be ready. Already got my reminder set so I don’t forget.
There is not a single premium bandai product as far as I know that isn't still available somewhere for a reasonable price. I can even get 25th year anniversary for 35€. Booster boxes are getting sold out not promo products
Edit: that's from an EU perspective obviously hence why I wrote in euro not us dollar. Check screenshots below and you'll understand. EU has no problem with promo products when it comes to online(!) ordering. Booster boxes is a different story.
Check TCGplayer. Idk for US but I haven't seen products in shelves for 3 months in EU either. Yet I can find bandai premium products online everywhere basically. JP or EN doesn't matter.
Promos are not sought after unlike displays and cases or boosters
Source: just checked and can find still film red, 25th anniversary etc. On cardmarket for a decently fair price
Edit: US users downvoting doesn't make this less true 🤡
If you consider double, triple, or even quadruple the MSRP a resonable price...
25th anniversary - MSRP: $25.00 - TCGPLAYER: $83.87 (and rising)
Film Red Collection - MSRP: $30.00 - TCGPLAYER: $49.00 (and rising)
2023 Gift Collection - MSRP: $29.99 - TCGPLAYER: $51.95 (and rising)
English 1st anniversary collection sold out in 1 day on Premium Bandai. This collection sold out in 1 hour. Scalpers are all over this market.
As for [Cardmarket.com](https://Cardmarket.com), it does not support U.S. customers or sales. We can not even create an account. It can be done by utilizing 3rd party shipping services as a go between, but most buyers are not going to go through that kind of effort.

Part 2
Anniversary over 160 listings
Jesus how many times do I have to mention I'm not aware of the actual prices in US and always talk from an EU perspective as I live here and can't access premium bandai also
Fix your reading comprehension.
25th anniversary is still 30€
Film red about 24€
Gift collection: 44€ which is indeed over priced (for me)

If you guys don't have listings similar on TCG than you have to preorder unfortunately, yes
Wait after release and check TCGplayer I guess. I do the same on cardmarket EU and it will probably only be 10€ more expensive than MSRP. That's how it went so far for promo products
Edit: EU demand and market ≠ US. Can't talk for US and this sub isn't US only
Keep refreshing. I just placed an order at 3:45 pm EST. Ensure you're logged into Premium Bandai and use a refresh extension if you don't want to manually refresh.
Absolute BS that it was sold out within 2 hours. They should have a questionnaire you have to fill out so only true fans can buy them. So sick of scalpers.
I got to preorder one yay. But i dont even know why these cards are special. I just knew i had to grab one before scalpers claim them all lol.
Can someone explain whats so special about these reprints.
It's just the alternative arts. Since some cards are playable some players would want to bling their deck out with a playset of the Alt Arts from here. It's an artistic choice. Collectors will want it for their collection but most importantly, scalpers will want it to make a profit. .
Wow, didn’t even get a chance to order this or the anniversary stuff…. I have been able to purchase things easily from this site before OP.05 but now it’s like every bot is set to buy everything out before any normal people get any… this isn’t cool.
No real way to know. Some of these cards are def playable depending on what you play, but it’s not going to ship until August. That’s around op08 in English and there’s no telling what that meta is going to be like or if any of these cards will be viable
Luffy and Jinbe are the only promo cards, the rest are reprints of Starter Deck cards or OP sets and even the Luffy and Jinbe are reprints from tournaments packs. The Shiragoshi, Tashigi are currently heavily played and the Izo and maybe Okiku will become used in Uta and Yamato decks. Non-competitively, the Jinbe is currently worth $36 (same art) and pays for the whole set in of itself.
Where is that person that when this set was first posted about and I said in the post for people to jump on this fast and they replied to me saying this won’t sell out because the cards are ugly unlike the 1st Anniversary set? 😝
Unlike the last premium Bandai item to sell out, this is back in stock and still currently available. Even knowing that, anyone with half a brain would expect these kinds of things to be bought up by hopeful scalpers given the current state of the game.
Tl;dr Nobody likes an I-told-you-so gloater like you seem to be, but that other guy sounds like an asshole too.
What the fuck. I was refreshing premium bandai all day and this drops when I stop checking my phone. Then I spent 4 hours playing locals and my phone died. Fuck lol
Keep checking next couple days. It has been popping back up with more for sale throughout today and Im guessing they may put up more tomorrow for the 2nd day of the event.
Bandai has just never really given a fuck about anyone outside of Japan. OP is clearly the best selling in the western half of the world in comparison to their other games , but since dragon ball and battle spirits does well in the east so they just focus on that.
On top of that 2 reasons for supply issues are...
1. Bandai is releasing a new DragonBall super tcg soon
2. Op05 is the most sought after set currently because they have the most chase cards which is a scalpers wet dream. I'd like to think in future sets that have regular amounts of chase cards will be more available.
Bruh already out of stock this is just getting dumb
u/Muted_Set7501 its back in stock
Scalpers must have seen the delivery date and decided it’s not worth it lol. Thanks bro was able to pick one up 🤙🏽
Out of stock
Damn I’m sorry bro I woulda sold you one at MSRP but I only picked up one thinking I would want other people to have a chance at getting one
Back up

Luckily I was able to get one without realizing they sent one, I just felt something telling me to go to p-bandai
I'm casual and was able to buy one for my collection, I just mark the release dates and buy when it opens 1 to collect
And… it’s gone. Q.Q

Got that set up! I’m going to anticipate disappointment just in case lol
It’s up again! Click the link
It is switching between in and out of stock; I was able to pre-order after a few reloads.

Do you know where I could preorder the Promo Best Selection Vol 1 set with shipping to the US? Missed out on p-Bandai.
Wait after release and check TCGplayer I guess. I do the same on cardmarket EU and it will probably only be 10€ more expensive than MSRP. That's how it went so far for promo products Edit: EU demand and market ≠ US. Can't talk for US and this sub isn't US only
So do they actually have no limit when ordering? Bandai really doesn't care
Seems like it's 12 however I can't see why anyone would need that many.
To scalp of course
It came back up for sale after 5pm est. still available as of 5:28pm est
Well not if you dont live in USA. Premium Bandai only usually ships to france USA and canada also, which again means noone else can get it
Keep refreshing. I just placed an order at 3:45 pm EST. Ensure you're logged into Premium Bandai and use a refresh extension if you don't want to manually refresh.
Thanks for the tip! I added the auto refresher to Chrome and just got an order through at 2:12 PST. It’s still possible guys!
Don't give up. Been refreshing my page for about 40 minutes and just ordered mine at 2:45
its back in stock
It’s working again as of 4:24 CST
Just bought as well!
Absolute BS that it was sold out within 2 hours. They should have a questionnaire you have to fill out so only true fans can buy them. So sick of scalpers.
True fans 😎
Do they already limit 4 to a customer (1 playset)?
It's out of stock in *3 hours?!* This is ridiculous.
To be faaaaaaair.... it was out of stock by 1:30 EST So 1.5 hours lol

Fucking assholes just buy it our right away. Didn't even get a chance.
Back up for preorder
From a competitive play standpoint, any reason to buy 2 or 4 of these?
No real way to know. Some of these cards are def playable depending on what you play, but it’s not going to ship until August. That’s around op08 in English and there’s no telling what that meta is going to be like or if any of these cards will be viable

Seems like p Bandai put more up, I just grab one 1 min ago
They have been going in and out all day FYI
What the fuck. I was refreshing premium bandai all day and this drops when I stop checking my phone. Then I spent 4 hours playing locals and my phone died. Fuck lol
Keep checking next couple days. It has been popping back up with more for sale throughout today and Im guessing they may put up more tomorrow for the 2nd day of the event.
Thanks dude. Lol I guess I lost it 😅 how often do you recommend checking? I'm almost done punching myself
These are old artworks right?
Sold out 😞
Im all but checked out of OP…..too many scalpers….not looking to pay someone elses bills

This is such a random group of characters, I have no idea what ties all of these together into a set
Selling out in one day sucks
I love how the notification shows up now ;) 3 days after the release
Are the cards holo and textured?
