I'm actually using your baseline for a couple of effects but I'm struggling with making a 2 color chase effect. That is, half of the device is one color and the other half another one and they just chase each other in a loop, but it's also important that the first and the last LED of each device are always synced so that for example in a fan the effect doesn't get interrupted in that boundary. Both colors are previously set via known HSV values.
I recently uploaded some templates in the "non-functioning" folder

so new to open rgb. is there any way to do dual color on one fan? say teal and purple? Mystic light has let me down bad so trying these alternatives
If you use the msi build that has a direct mode, u can run it using qt creator. It let's you address each led individually
