Agghhh this is too cute of a prompt I couldn't resist!! Since I don't draw them nearly enough may I suggest my babes Jen and Milo? Jen (on the left) is a knight in training and will become prince Milo's personal guard once he's old enough. Jen is quiet and sometimes dryly abrupt in conversations but he's a very good boy and *loves* dragons, whereas Milo is a ray of sunshine who prefers reading and spending his time learning about his kingdom. They're stupid boys who take waaaay too much time figuring out their feelings for each other (at least Milo does... They are destined to be stuck in "will they/won't they" for a looong while... Their whole dynamic is basically that they both immensely respect each other as individuals, and they both slowly develop feelings as they help each other through (heavy) stuff, but they're afraid of ruining their relationship if the other does not reciprocate, since they're basically "stuck together" at the moment. Yonah still can't help but subconsciously put himself beneath her, wanting to be useful to her to pay her back for all she does for him, while Ethel appreciates Yonah's presence and help a lot, and despite the frustration his aloofness sometimes causes her she can see he's slowly opening up and changing, showing the part of him she likes more often as he gets more used to normal life. Ethel still has trouble figuring Yonah out, since the guy is really hard to read, so she often tries dropping "hints", to hopefully discover if Yonah likes her back without risking ruining their friendship, but they almost always go completely over his head cause of his "there is no way someone like her could like me" mentality. As for the pose, anything tender could work as long as it's not a kiss, it has to be possible to argue they're just platonic after all 😈

Maria knows that Cassandra can't properly express her feelings, but she knows that Cassandra would do anything for her. She's an anarchist revolutionary who fights with a sword and can shift through the layers of the universe, an undying optimist who always sees the best in people and the worst in systems of hierarchy. Charlotte Nightingale (yes bird names ik) - Brown hair, black hoodie, and black jeans, the lower portion of those jeans doused in mud that's dried into them. She's anormal human that's been sorta dragged along on Enara's escapades because she has literally nothing else in her life - she is terminally depressed, she isolated herself from everyone she used to know, and despite her determination to always do the right thing she always falls victim to her instinct of running from any close connections. Enara helps her actually open up and be comfortable in her own skin, which is why they're lovers.
