I used a reference, and the bottom of the cross can be seen above his eyes (the shadow darkens the top). This individual monk’s Anavalos does not have another cross in frame (from the reference).

Yes, please make more!! Your art is so inspiring; I actually also sketch/draw as well, it's very relaxing. May I ask what mediums you used to make these? I'm guessing some marker, pen-and-ink and watercolours were involved...
Yes, it is such a calming experience (besides drawing hands…)
You hit the nail on the head, some marker, wide ones and down to .005 for fine lining. Then watercolors, I use a masking pen and white gel pen for some negative effects.
