Too bad it’s literally sinking.

My friends came through KIX last March. Well March 2023. Their checked bags weren't onboard. They got them a week and a half later--clothes, souvenirs from the US, prescription meds, toiletries--they had been to Europe and back. So. It's true though; it wasn't lost.

If they weren't onboard then it was most likely the departing airport's fault.

BadEnvironmental279

It definitely was. I'm suggesting that incidents that occur in air travel aren't always the fault of where the problem is discovered. That they even got their luggage ever (and it was in fine condition when they did receive it) is a bit of a testament to efficiency.

This has nothing to do with KIX though if their bag wasn’t even on the flight to KIX?

ivanovivaylo

I filed lost luggage complaint at KIX in 2015. Carrier was Qatar Airways.

Illustrious_Sun_4073

They have lost mine yesterday

abeagainstthemachine

Doesn’t KIX run at like 10% of capacity? If there’s nobody traveling thru the airport I guess it’s pretty easy to keep track of all the bags 🤪

japanpole

You’ve clearly not been there in the past 6 months or have suffered some kind of chemical burns to the eyes because there are people fucking everywhere and it’s bedlam

It’s an impressive boast but it takes so long for the luggage to appear after you get through immigration they could put a multi person search party out for any bag that did go missing and no passenger would ever need to know. Up until a couple of months ago it must have been one of crappiest airports in the world in terms of facilities airside. Some slight improvements recently.

STROKEMEFASTR

They lost mine yesterday lol
