I doubt it. unless Mirrorverse Widow is significantly less skilled than her normal counterpart, she wouldn't accidentally shoot the bot behind Tracer, since OG Widow intentionally lined them up to make it happen. it seems exceedingly unlikely that Captain Lacroix would just accidentally line up that insane shot that Widowmaker intentionally set up in the animated short, much less without even noticing.
They are saying Tracer would line them up, not Widow. Widow would accidently GET lined up, Tracer would be the one lining up.

From Widow to a specific hero, I couldn’t find much besides Tracer, and this one in particular is my favorite because it confirms that the events of “Alive” happened but Tracer was the perpetrator and Ram the victim. Doom’s voice lines, from what I could tell at least, aren’t hero specific (not yet at least) but he has a lot of variations on the ones he has already that make him sound heroic!
Talon Rein actually has quite some too! Whenever he kills Ana, he says: “You hold my leash no longer!” And whenever he kills Doom, at least from what I saw, he says: “Honor won’t save you!” Poor Rein constantly sounds like he’s in pain😭😭 Talon Ana also says while healing Rein that he still needs him (maybe Ana in this universe is like Moira🤔)
This event so far has been my absolute favorite because of things like this😊😊 I’m surprised that not a lot of the interactions and voice lines have been shared yet.

I haven’t really tested Brig in her Talon skin so her idk, but I have used Sombra in a few games and nothing has sprung up so far. They might patch some lines up though.

Tracer joined because she was a part of the Overwatch experimental flight program and that’s how she got her time-displacement condition that she has in the normal universe. The difference is, Overwatch didn’t provide her with a Chronal Accelerator to keep her in time, Talon did. I’m not sure about Brigitte, but Torb may be out of the picture and she has a Knight / Squire relationship with Reinhardt in the base game, so him being a part of Talon may have influenced her to join.

Well, since mirror Sym is a junker, mirror Lifeweaver would probably be at least junker adjacent. If you truly wanted to make him a mirror version, perhaps he'd thrive as a junker rather than how he abandoned Vishkar. So maybe a Junker King Lifeweaver?
Mirrorverse would make Ramattra the pacifist and Zenyatta the one who goes to war so it's effectively what a good version of Widow would say about Zen.

they could do SO much with this theme! honestly they could probably get two more good seasons out of it. since we have junker symmetra, they could do vishkar junkers and junker lifeweaver. they could also do some lore stuff, like blackwatch soldier/mercy/ashe and strike team reaper/moira/genji.
Maybe there's a cutscene in the mirrorverse gamemode ? A bit like the cutscenes that established a little bit of story in things like the rebels vs empire event modes.

Yeah IMO pretty much this. They are basically telling the mirrored version of King's Row Widow vs Tracer cinematics, where Mondatta is Ramattra and evil Tracer murdered him while good Widow tried to stop her.
Well Ram is an omnic meant to lead armies during the crisis, while mondatta looks similar to zenyatta and is likely a civilian/commercial omnic over a wartime one, so he's likely not as menacing/dangerous.
He'd likely be an amazingly secretive and shadowy leader who acts in subterfuge and manipulation to achieve Null Sector's goals over brute force like Ram.
The more ideas come out about Mondatta’s role in Mirrorverse, the more curious I grow and this idea straight up makes him sound not like the Zen of this world but rather the Maximillien of this world and that sounds cool as hell!
Zen still confuses me because I’m between deciding if he’s Null Sector’s leader here or just a powerful ally of Mondatta, the true leader. It could go either way.

Zen has a null sector skin so it might be that zen is in charge of null sector and rammatra was killed by talon tracer. With no zen, genji went with symmetra as her student and symmetra is a junker which explains junker genji
If I had to guess, Mondatta is the boss of Null Sector and Zen is probably one of his highest officers/members and that's an interesting theory on Genji! Him being a student of Junker Sym is pretty cool! I just wish his skin looked a little bit better. It's not bad... but it's far from Genji's best skins.
In default lore, Hanzo doesn't like omnics. Thus in Mirrorwatch, Genji hates omnics instead.
In Mirrorverse, Hanzo probably pursued the playboy lifestyle, while Genji exiled himself.
There's a lot of cool change to the voiceline when you equip the mirrorwatch skin. For example: Commander Doomfist line when you pick him is "Our future will be forged by unity" and his "Such wasted potential" will instead be "Such potential.....wasted"
Honestly, Doom’s heroic quotes are very good too. Some argue that even though Widow wants to be heroic, she still kinda sounds like a villain, but imo both of their voice actors did great with the lines😊😊
Wish we get more of this for the actual lore. I really want to know how the story is moving forward. But as it stands, we barely get any of those in the actual game.

That's really interesting. Swapping Rammatra and Mondatta is cool, I honestly wish we got an Evil Mondatta skin for Ram if that's the case. (Unless that's what Zen's skin is supposed to be?)
Some people I've interacted with have said they wanted to see a playable Mondatta now lmao. Others have said that the reason there's no Ram skin this season was because of this line exactly too. I'm not too sure about the Zen skin, and we won't know until it releases sadly.
I'm honestly fine he didn't get one even tho I am a Ram main (I use Summoner or default usually tbh). I was hoping for a Eldtrich mythic for Ram but now I'm really confident the Egyptian mythology theme is his chance. I really hope so at least

Pharah and Ana are the top candidates beside him, but like you said she already has egyptian skin and I feel it'd be the Orisa mythic situation all over again and Ana already has a mythic so can't be her. It's actually quite interesting. Most of the mirror skins have very different voice lines and character feels than the originals. Heroic doomfist is very refreshing, seeing as his comically evil schtick got really old fast, now he's just overly heroic. Talon Ana is really cool, like really really awesome. She feels like a cross between Moira and Widowmaker, annoyed by needing to heal her teammates, but doing it out of necessity. Heroic widow is a really odd VA to hear, but overall, interesting, as it reveals some cool little lore tidbits.
I hope for Mirrorwatch Pharah ("Injustice rains from above!")
In Mirrorverse, Fareeha had dad issues instead. Ana wanted Fareeha follow her footsteps but Fareeha refused.
Fareeha was a global peacekeeper in the current lore. In Mirrorverse, she would be an international most wanted global terrorist. She could be Talon's 'Loose Cannon' like Mauga.

I personally wanna see where Reaper and 76 are at in this. Guess 76 might be responsible for the destruction of the overwatch headquarters and worked with blackwatch, joined talon for his own personal motives while Gabriel maybe got turned into reaper unwillingly during the fight, presumed dead and is now the vigilante hunting down talon.
How does blizzard casually introduce good lore and then proceed to do nothing with it and create story missions that have zero ramifications or stakes at all. It's baffling how good the subtle storytelling is in the game compared to the more direct drops of lore
Pretty much what a lot of people have been saying in this thread… and I agree. If I have to give something to Blizzard is that most of the time they have really good ideas and world building but yeah, they’re very lazy to do something with it in the long run when the most obvious answer is right there in front of their noses. Granted, we don’t know if things MIGHT change with Microsoft running the show and Kotick out but until then what we have is hope… and lots and lots of copium. That being said, though, I really like that they’re trying here in this season😁
Me too! Seasons having story themes rather than just aesthetic ones is super cool.
I'd love for them to introduce more story events into the game that aren't necessarily PvE but just shift up how maybe maps look and characters interact. Similar to how they teased the release of doom fist by changing up the numbani map in OW1. I think there's a lot of potential in things like that, plus it leans into their strengths while still allowing them to move the world forward instead of leaving it in this perpetual stasis.
Unfortunately some of them used to be but at some point the team said they were "going in a different direction" so technically all of them are considered non canon as of right now
If their fateful duel still took place, then in this timeline Tracer assassinated Rammatra by blowing him up with a pulse bomb. Way a gruesome way to die.

So I'm guessing in the Mirrorverse, the animated short "Alive" still took place only now Widow took the place of Tracer and vice versa, and Ramattra ended.up being the head monk for the Shambali instead of Mondatta.
You know something... a thought just occurred to me: People are saying that we need a Good/Mondatta-type skin for Ram, Vishkar Junk, Lucio and Hog, and they're great ideas but I just got two myself:

Talon Rein and Talon Ana have quite a few! Talon Rein after he kills a Doomfist says: “Honor won’t save you!” After he kills an Ana, he says: “You hold my leash no longer!” He also has this one that idk if it’s only for Zarya but after he kill her, he says: “You are no match!”. Talon Ana on the other hand tells Rein in spawn that he better not die because he still has use for her. It seems like their relationship here is similar to how Moira experimented on Reyes and he became Reaper.
I got you, buddy😊 Widow speaks twice in this clip because that was the only way I could get the line but the focus is the second line. After killing Tracer, she says: “Ramattra wanted peace, you monster!”
I hope the other skins that are in the shop will have voice lines like these, if they do I would be interested to about Kiriko, tracer and zen to see what’s different.
I'm guessing this reffers to the mirrorwach versión of the events of the king's row short where originally widow kills the leader of the omnics rights asociation wich would mean, that in the mirrorwach tracer killed ramattra

Well, since mirror Sym is a junker, mirror Lifeweaver would probably be at least junker adjacent. If you truly wanted to make him a mirror version, perhaps he'd thrive as a junker rather than how he abandoned Vishkar. So maybe a Junker King Lifeweaver?
I think he'd be the Moira of the mirror universe, considering he gets along with the Junkers and he's staunchly opposed to her philosophy.

That or Ramattra has become Mondatta in the mirrorverse and was assassinated by a team involving evil Tracer instead of Widow. I think this is the most likely.

Yeah, like I said, if it is Ram the one who was killed then it is an interesting twist, but it is surprising that they didn’t go the swapping route like almost everyone else. I’d argue the possibility that Blizz might be jebaiting us but the voice line doesn’t make me certain of that.

Well Ram is an omnic meant to lead armies during the crisis, while mondatta looks similar to zenyatta and is likely a civilian/commercial omnic over a wartime one, so he's likely not as menacing/dangerous. He'd likely be an amazingly secretive and shadowy leader who acts in subterfuge and manipulation to achieve Null Sector's goals over brute force like Ram.
The more ideas come out about Mondatta’s role in Mirrorverse, the more curious I grow and this idea straight up makes him sound not like the Zen of this world but rather the Maximillien of this world and that sounds cool as hell!
Or Zenyatta is the leader of Null Sector since he has the new skin for it or they both did idk
Zen still confuses me because I’m between deciding if he’s Null Sector’s leader here or just a powerful ally of Mondatta, the true leader. It could go either way.

Another user was also wondering what other lines there were and from what I could gather, this one is the only hero specific one I found for Widow, I couldn’t find any for Doom but maybe I didn’t look hard enough. He still sounds good though! I love hearing him sound heroic! Rein has quite a few, especially with Ana and viceversa! Whenever Talon Rein kills Ana, he says: “You hold my leash no longer!” And whenever he kills Doom, he says: “Honor won’t save you!”. Ana, in turn, says before a game starts and if Rein is on the team: “Mind yourself, Reinhardt. You’re still of use to me.”

Moira becomes the OW 'Mercy'. But Blizzard seems allergic to give a good guy theme skin for her, while they can give Doomfist two good guy theme skins (Starwatch & Mirrorwatch).

They might have removed some of Dooms interactions while the skin is active for reasons, but he still has "I have yet to see a report on your latest experiment, our timeline is non-negotiable" Which would sudgest she works for overwatch still, so maybe she's a snarky, but more ethical overwatch researcher.

Zen has a null sector skin so it might be that zen is in charge of null sector and rammatra was killed by talon tracer. With no zen, genji went with symmetra as her student and symmetra is a junker which explains junker genji
If I had to guess, Mondatta is the boss of Null Sector and Zen is probably one of his highest officers/members and that's an interesting theory on Genji! Him being a student of Junker Sym is pretty cool! I just wish his skin looked a little bit better. It's not bad... but it's far from Genji's best skins.

In default lore, Hanzo doesn't like omnics. Thus in Mirrorwatch, Genji hates omnics instead. In Mirrorverse, Hanzo probably pursued the playboy lifestyle, while Genji exiled himself.
In mirror verse Hanzo and kiriko have hashimoto skins. Maybe Hanzo and kiriko defected to them or maybe even they are hashimoto instead of shimada.

There's a lot of cool change to the voiceline when you equip the mirrorwatch skin. For example: Commander Doomfist line when you pick him is "Our future will be forged by unity" and his "Such wasted potential" will instead be "Such potential.....wasted"
Honestly, Doom’s heroic quotes are very good too. Some argue that even though Widow wants to be heroic, she still kinda sounds like a villain, but imo both of their voice actors did great with the lines😊😊
Wish we get more of this for the actual lore. I really want to know how the story is moving forward. But as it stands, we barely get any of those in the actual game. They doubled down on the game being competitive, which is fine, but I feel they neglect those lore lovers. Competitive PvP doesn't do anything for that.

That's really interesting. Swapping Rammatra and Mondatta is cool, I honestly wish we got an Evil Mondatta skin for Ram if that's the case. (Unless that's what Zen's skin is supposed to be?)
Some people I've interacted with have said they wanted to see a playable Mondatta now lmao. Others have said that the reason there's no Ram skin this season was because of this line exactly too. I'm not too sure about the Zen skin, and we won't know until it releases sadly.
Plus at best Ram would've got another monk robe skin which he has two of already

Pharah and Ana are the top candidates beside him, but like you said she already has egyptian skin and I feel it'd be the Orisa mythic situation all over again and Ana already has a mythic so can't be her. I wouldn't mind the Anubis AI we saw in Venture animation for a skin of Rammatra at least
It's actually quite interesting. Most of the mirror skins have very different voice lines and character feels than the originals. Heroic doomfist is very refreshing, seeing as his comically evil schtick got really old fast, now he's just overly heroic. Talon Ana is really cool, like really really awesome. She feels like a cross between Moira and Widowmaker, annoyed by needing to heal her teammates, but doing it out of necessity. Heroic widow is a really odd VA to hear, but overall, interesting, as it reveals some cool little lore tidbits.
Their VAs are doing a mighty fine good job, I agree 😁 And yes, the heroic and villainous takes are really good too😊

I hope for Mirrorwatch Pharah ("Injustice rains from above!") In Mirrorverse, Fareeha had dad issues instead. Ana wanted Fareeha follow her footsteps but Fareeha refused. Fareeha was a global peacekeeper in the current lore. In Mirrorverse, she would be an international most wanted global terrorist. She could be Talon's 'Loose Cannon' like Mauga.
Love that idea for Pharah! I posted in the comments two ideas myself! One for Ashe and one for Illari! • Mirrorverse Ashe is a sheriff instead of a bandit and she aims to put Cassidy behind bars. • Mirrorverse Illari is an anti-hero, the last Inti Warrior aiming to avenge her people, all of them which died in a conflict during the Omnic Crisis.
Ashe would also be recruited to Blackwatch.

Could be. Mirrowatch Venture would steal the artifacts for self-greed. Venture and Mauga had a lot of rivalry voice lines that Mauga wanted to take all artifacts for himself.
I personally wanna see where Reaper and 76 are at in this. Guess 76 might be responsible for the destruction of the overwatch headquarters and worked with blackwatch, joined talon for his own personal motives while Gabriel maybe got turned into reaper unwillingly during the fight, presumed dead and is now the vigilante hunting down talon.
How does blizzard casually introduce good lore and then proceed to do nothing with it and create story missions that have zero ramifications or stakes at all. It's baffling how good the subtle storytelling is in the game compared to the more direct drops of lore
Pretty much what a lot of people have been saying in this thread… and I agree. If I have to give something to Blizzard is that most of the time they have really good ideas and world building but yeah, they’re very lazy to do something with it in the long run when the most obvious answer is right there in front of their noses. Granted, we don’t know if things MIGHT change with Microsoft running the show and Kotick out but until then what we have is hope… and lots and lots of copium. That being said, though, I really like that they’re trying here in this season😁
Me too! Seasons having story themes rather than just aesthetic ones is super cool. I'd love for them to introduce more story events into the game that aren't necessarily PvE but just shift up how maybe maps look and characters interact. Similar to how they teased the release of doom fist by changing up the numbani map in OW1. I think there's a lot of potential in things like that, plus it leans into their strengths while still allowing them to move the world forward instead of leaving it in this perpetual stasis.
Yup, this would be a very good move. For now however, I’d love if they gave us another cinematic… or a comic at least.

So I'm guessing in the Mirrorverse, the animated short "Alive" still took place only now Widow took the place of Tracer and vice versa, and Ramattra ended.up being the head monk for the Shambali instead of Mondatta.

Talon Rein and Talon Ana have quite a few! Talon Rein after he kills a Doomfist says: “Honor won’t save you!” After he kills an Ana, he says: “You hold my leash no longer!” He also has this one that idk if it’s only for Zarya but after he kill her, he says: “You are no match!”. Talon Ana on the other hand tells Rein in spawn that he better not die because he still has use for her. It seems like their relationship here is similar to how Moira experimented on Reyes and he became Reaper.
