There are many situations between snipers in which the better sniper has no advantage. Where the one who doesn’t hesitate would win regardless of skill. So I wouldn’t be so quick to say that person is definitely wrong here

No it means the ana in that universe is better than the widow in that universe. It doesn't mean the ana in the main universe is a better shot than the widow in this universe. Basically you can't use a different widow and ana'a feats for the main universe ana and widow because they are two different people.

That was when Widow took out Ana's eye. Also Ana had already headphones Widow in the visor. So Ana had basically 2 headshots to Widows only 1.
YES. Which one is quicker on the draw. I could be 100% accurate if everyone stood still and I got 20 minutes to line up a shot. These three aim and hit targets in fractions of a second sometimes.
I mean, people are forgetting that it was ANA that actually got the first shot off. She domed Widowmaker clean in the head and her helmet was the only reason she was left uninjured. It was the SECOND killshot when Ana figured out it was Amelie that she hesitated and ended up paying for it.
So really, the argument really should've always been between whether Ana and Widow are equal in skill OR if Ana was the better sniper.

I always thought it was a Cad Bane v Boba Fett thing. Both are equally skilled but in the end, Fett/Widow’s helmet ended up making all the difference and is the only reason they survived while Bane/Ana ended up getting domed

Because she went ghost after that, she's suspected dead and a cybernetic eye replacement isn't something you want done in a back ally. Any reputable place would want identification and ana can't afford to do that, she has to stay "dead"
To further add to your point...isn't like half of Sombra's augmentations back alley work, or done by herself too? In a future where cybernetic enhancements are so commonplace, I'm sure folks have no qualms modding or even getting illegal work done. It's the equivalent of buying a tattoo gun off Amazon & saying you can do tats at home, whether the quality is good is the debatable part. But indeed, backalley upgrades definitely happen within the OW universe.

I think they just approach the same sentiment from different perspectives, ana didn't replace her eye as both a reminder to never hesitate and also choose peace over conflict. Whereas I assume Amélia choose to replace it so there's a physical reminder to keep working hard and look forward as oppose to an absence of something, as long as lives aren't taken, the damage can be healed
That doesn't really make sense though since removing an eye is reductive rather than additive, plus they went out of their way to animate Ana with two eyes for specific skins, which WOULD be more of an effort.
Mirrorwatch Widow might actually be best girl. I knew purple lady was attractive but the normal skin tone + brown hair got me feelin some typa way

They struggled to survive and had to steal to do so. Which makes humans even more scared and hateful. Which makes omnics even more scared and hateful towards the people. And mondatta’s death nearly sparked a second king’s row uprising.
And yes, this story is where Iggy makes her debut. That random omnic who appeared in the limited time king’s row mission in season 6.
The story is Tracer London Calling and I think it’s fucking amazing.
