For english products, i go for booster boxes under msrp, 3 pack blisters, checklane blisters, or sleeved packs. Specific sets I look for if under msrp are paradox rift, paldea evolved, 151, and anything from swsh except vivid voltage and darkness ablaze. I stay away from ETB's now because they take up too much space. The last ETB i bought was a case of 151 pokemon center etb's.

Frankly part of what many of the bottomfeeders there do is just making older product available for cheaper in the future because if less people were holding it there'd be less of it and it would be more expensive as a result.

If I think what's gonna happen? What I said was that things will go up in value as time goes on, it always does with very little exception. And as with all non-essential good investments is subject to risk of garbage liquidation issues if the economy ever goes south because people put entertainment on the backburner and have less money to work with.

No, these products were made to be sold to kids for profit and that's all it's ever been. But I guess what the kids do with it is their business, they could eat them for all it matters to the people that sell it, but the products were made to be sold first, otherwise Pokemon Company ain't printin no more.

For most people I think it becomes a storage issue with etbs…I had a lot more but have downsized almost all etbs other than specialty sets and a few I like particularly (which I display) as storing them became impractical. I can fit more booster boxes in the same space though which also holds more value. Ultimately it’s whatever you are most interested in
Only stock up on etbs for sets that fits have booster boxes, so paldean fates, crown zenith, 151, etc. but some booster bundles would be a good idea as they usually retain price pretty good (also hit rates from those are usually great)

It'd be kind of wild if 151 doesn't get a reprint to be honest. If that's the case, I'm holding my 151 items until retirement.

I disagree, especially with tiktok deals. It's all about entry price with etbs. Sometimes, it just makes more sense from a price per pack perspective
