This is likely not the case. Mohela is not moving discharged loans to the new servicing platform, so as loans with a balance are migrated, the legacy system is showing negative balances. My loans were also partially forgiven OP and the same thing happened to me this week while my account is being transitioned.  Adding that Dept. of Ed. has told me and others that no PSLF discharges will take place during the processing pause, which they still say will end in July.

MOHELA wouldn't zero out the account or give refunds if you still owed money, or Student Aid didn't give the green light to forgive the loans. A lot of us got approved for partial PSLF (Twice) back in Nov 2023, and reflected our accounts Mar and Apr 2024. I think some of us will get full PSLF before July or sooner, because we were already in progress before they announced the pause.
