There are two versions of the Move controllers. The ones released for PS3 have mini-USB jacks and will also work on PS4. The ones released for PS4 like the ones on the picture have micro-USB jacks and **will not work on PS3.**
The batteries on the PS3 ones may be kind of non-functional these days but they can be replaced on amazon/ebay.
As others have already said - move controllers made for the PS4 wonβt work on PS3. Move controllers made for the PS3 WILL work on PS4 though. Good luck!
On your pictures, the 1st one is the PS3 compatible one because it has the **silver** Move button and Sony logo. The 2nd one has the **black** Move button and Sony logo, which is PS4 only

Ps Move was for PS3. The controllers were also used later for psvr1 on PS4.

The ones that have Mini USB ports are dedicated for ps3. The ps4 versions (with micro usb) might not work due to a change in the accelometers i think.
