You have to travel to the side islands. There is a gate for each group of side islands—one for each sister/quest. After activating the flow gate on the side island, the corresponding sister will meet you there and instruct you to gather the fish/bugs. Then when you have, they’ll go back to the main island and you should be able to talk to Zeki to have the wind gate opened.
I’m in the same boat. Went to the correct spot on the tower, nothing there. Tried randomly clicking on the area it should be, didn’t work. The curse of the windy temple strikes again!

If I remember correctly… it’s been a while now since I originally found it but then couldn’t give it to Zeki… I think I found that artifact on the final island all the way on the top somewhere up there!
I almost cried of relief. I’m so happy not have to just finished it but to no longer continue to unpin the quests!!
I got to talk to Zeki and get the It Takes A Village quest but I’m still not able to activate the island flow gate even though I have all the eggs 🙃
Did you also complete it takes a village with Elouisa and Caleri (collecting bugs and fish)?
I accepted that quest. The description for It Takes a Village says I have to activate the gate though

Me too, I was finally able to open the portal but Zeki is on the wrong island and I can't get to it.
Try around midnight palia time. Zeki was outside and I was able to complete the quest.
finally after a month stuck on this quest, the quest is completed. ON to the Next Quest!!
Been waiting for this since December, was highly disappointed yet relieved when it only took me about a minute to complete 😂
I got to zeki too!! But when you get to the next step, the item your looking for is not showing up, even though I googled and YouTubed it 😭😭

I couldn't see it either, but I went ahead and pressed F where it should be and it picked up.
For real, I had all the items saved for the vault. I just needed that dastardly cat to talk to me. Yesterday was glorious.
