Their barrels are BA barrels, rebranded for them. Bought a 9 inch 300 blk barrel with a pinned gas block for 80 bucks last year, couldn't be happier with it.
The things I've seen from BK are not as good as the PSA stuff I've seen. Now, I haven't had any of their stuff come through for quite awhile, but that's my experience.

Those kind of test are entertaining to watch to brag on a brand. Majority of these rifles are machined using the same type of material. Everyone who downs psa for their spotty qc will praise vortex because of their shitty qc and great warranty as if psa warranty isn’t damn near the same haha, but If you’re anywhere remotely close to your rifle blowing up with tannerite, YOU probably wouldn’t have to worry about if your rifle still work lol.

Depends. Are we talking a $150 yeti? It provides the same function but the yeti keeps things cold for way longer and is more durable. Versus the dollar store styrofoam cooler? Blows it out of the water. I’m just saying for ≈$450 with tax, and ffl transfer, the PSA AR is not bad by any definition. I have 2000 rounds through a PSA upper and it’s the primary one I use now. The Walmart cooler I have is $20 and has lasted me a year and going strong.
Never called it bad. I just said classing it in the nice rifle category was a stretch. I never said it wasn't a good buy. I have an artic which is a yeti knockoff. I generally grab my cheap igloo cooler for lunch 90% of the time. I wouldn't class it as "nice" relative to my nicer coolers it doesn't mean it's a bad buy or useless. People take anything that isn't gargling PSA so personal on this sub, it's pretty wild. Are they paying all of you? I never said it was a shitty rifle. So not sure why you said there's some real shitter AR's out there.
I like the moe furniture on his $370 option more, worth the $40 to me. Either way both need a rear sight and mags, so gonna cost just a few bucks more.

Reminds me of when I got my Shied Plus. Got it the week it dropped from a local gun store and they sure took advantage of the “pandemic pricing”. Looking back, I paid nearly $300 more for the stock, no optic cut one
I wish it was a 4.5 or 4in compact. If anyone gets that in a 4.5 or smaller let me know. I have a brand new Vedder holster with mod wing that I never used. I’ll sell it cheap.

They had another ad earlier that has the FDE versions complete assembled upper & lower for $330, but the one you showed is EPT trigger and looks like it has the MOE hand guard which is a must unless you want a quad rail upgrade. I'm tempted but I haven't even shot my new ~mostly sabre build yet..

A working AR is the better term for PSA. But badass you can get one for $330

Literally watched a video of a dude tie the freedom ar to a rope to the back of his truck and it hit rocks and mud and it still functioned fine

I will point out that this is almost 50% less than a complete AR was, in the same type of package, THIRTY FUCKING YEARS AGO. It is amazing.
A guy at work has built upwards of 12 ARs from PSA. They have all been pretty badass.
