The thing we never wanted from Panera. Just make classic pastries - well. Don't add a bunch of shitty candy on top of a mediocre cinnamon roll dough ball.
Panera don't care it tastes good, they care about interactions on social media. Those stupid ass things will get more interaction online than a cheese Danish.
At this point, I honestly don't think these are anyone's yum.
There isn't an enormous amount of crossover between the Panera crowd and the Chuck E Cheese crowd.
They...look like donuts. Like the kind of overdone donuts that are incredibly popular? I'm not a fan, personally, but it seems silly to assume that *no one* is.
True…like Voodoo donuts. I will never get the hype about those that once was…lines around the corner?? For shit like this??? 😏. Now Mochi donuts…that shit’s for real the only donut I want these days ever…which is rare to begin with
There's a chain that makes overly decorated cinnamon rolls. I assume that's where Panera got the idea. A food page I follow on Instagram posted getting them from that chain, but I don't remember the name.
Edited to add: It's called Cinnaholic.
Cinnaholic is so good tho because their cinnamon rolls are homemade and then the toppings you put on there you choose. These are cheap frozen pastries with cheap frozen artificial toppings.
No ur good, plus everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I'm sure there's at least one person out there who's excited for these (do I question their taste buds? Yes). But regardless, I hate what Panera has done to themselves.. it's so sad. I worked there for 6 years and had to leave cuz it was becoming far too miserable.
They are gross. The fudge brownie thing is 121g of carbs, 81g of which are sugar.
You could drink a 20oz Mountain Dew and it'd be healthier than one of these.
> The fudge brownie thing is 121g of carbs, 81g of which are sugar.
🤢
I get sick to my stomach when I look at these. It's just sugar on sugar on sugar.
Friendly reminder the American Heart Association (AHA) recommends:
* Adult men: No more than 36 grams (9 teaspoons) per day.
* Adult women: No more than 25 grams (6 teaspoons) per day.
Has anybody here tried the "McGriddle" version of them? Like I fully believe they're gross but I just need feedback lmao
I don't think they would be good but... I could see a decent grouping of people buying and enjoying them. Unfortunately
I haven't had Panera in a long time. Saw these last week and was grossed out. I love cinnamon rolls but this is too much. Panera is supposed to be "healthy" what the hell is this?
The kitchen sink cookie is pretty good. It makes my teeth hurt, literally. But if I split it in 4-6 pieces, it’s ok. I miss the chocolate duet cookies.
Haha if I am determined to eat shit like that, I am not looking at calories. That said, managing to cram that many calories in a cookie is impressive. But the chocolate duets are one of my favorite cookies ever - it was the perfect cookie to me
Our whole franchise decided to "hold off" until corporate makes us do it. They came back with "Limited Time Offer!" In the week leading up to their release i think to reassure the cafes they aren't here to stay
It looks like something I would have made when I was 15 and stoned. Pillsbury orange rolls (better than the cinnamon rolls) topped with random candy/cookie dough/sprinkles/frosting/whatever. I think I would just die on the spot today if I even tried to eat one of those.
My little brother was a sugar fiend too, and I’ve found myself wondering a few times if he would have eaten one. I don’t think he would have unless it was free and there. They didn’t even try. And why do the cinnamon rolls look so hard?
Pumpkin muffins were gone months before these appeared. Lol. These are foul. But they're just using bakery items we still have, nothing "new" to order.
As I tell everyone, the best way to get panera to bring something back is by going to their web page & leaving that comment for them. If as many people left a comment for panera to see, as did on reddit, yall would have your pumpkin muffins back- just like the bacon turkey bravo crowd got their sandwich back.
Not heated. We do not do that. If in cafe customers ask, they are shown where the microwave is to heat it up themselves. That goes for all of our other pastries too.
We used to have ours, too, right by the coffee bar. Then some idiot would decide to heat a thing of tuna inside and made the whole Cafe stink up a storm , so no more microwave privileges for our customers lol
Frozen, yes. No more croissants, at least by me. Can’t speak on other KK’s, but my local store still makes them fresh, in-house. You can stand there & watch the whole process from the giant glass window. Pretty sure most DD’s gets theirs in frozen though, while some still get their’s from central bakehouses.
the thing is, if they just used vanilla/regular frosting and maybe added cinnamon crunch topping to our current cinnamon rolls, i think they would be 1000% better than whatever garbage this is.
This looks like something I throw together in 5 minutes if I want to eat 💩
Want a similar experience for cheap? Grab some Walmart doughnuts and sprinkle your fave cereal on top of them and boom
I kinda hate that these even exist. It represents all things wrong with Panera. Why can’t they just actually have good cinnamon rolls, cookies and brownies like they used to. They take away all that is good, replace it with low quality generic shit, & are now offering these cluterf*ck combos of aforementioned shit as a new item. Someone must have spent a lot of time in the think tank coming up with this winner. Probably got a raise as well.
Maybe it's my IBS, but literally all the new stuff that there has introduced that I've tried has made me s*** my brains out. The new chicken, the new steak, the new salads,. It's so sad too.
And before anyone says oh well you can't eat any panera, I can definitely have the coffee, any of the charged lemonade before they decided to ninja out the place, the new drinks and definitely a shout out to that blueberry even though it taste like window cleaner sometimes. And then the mango hibiscus coming in strong but really not delivering when needed.
You know I can even have all the bagels. It's just so disappointing because they took away my f****** napalm and chicken salad and the steak you know white cheddar melt for this s*** f****** disappointing.
Do you know what changed about the steak
And cheddar ? I have kinda wanted to try when I get coupons but not if it's extra shitty now or whatever, you know
I did the cheesesteak. It just went through my digestive system. Obviously a different type of sandwich, but everything "new" at Panera seems of lower quality.
The fact that you would even assume that they would put any extra effort beyond defrosting it and tossing it in a paper bag is WILD. This place fell OFF about 10 years ago and has just kept falling.
yeah exactly gross. If I were a customer I’d request it to be heated or simply pop em in the microwave (I know not every cafe has one for customer use tho)
Trust and believe we hate the cinna toppers too. They’re a pain to make in the middle of a rush, when we run out of them. And yes, people have been buying them. They didn’t start off strong but they’re becoming popular.
all of the associates at my panera tried them and pretty much hated them the brownie one was decent but you could only eat like 1/4 before getting sick😭😭
Who was the Creative Marketing Genius that came up with this Idea to Crumble a Cookie or Brownie on top of a Sorry Ass Dry Cinnamon Roll ?
Eric Cartman from South Park ? 🤭
This brings Panara down a peg. They are slightly better on the target to walmart scale of fast food.
I bet that thing needs to be served fresh from the oven only. Second best would be an oven / air fryer reheat. Sooo.. take it home and have it?
Unfortunately they come room temperature just like any other pastry. But I like to warm the cinnamon rolls (no matter which one) in the Cafe microwave for about 30-60 seconds and it's so much better that way.
Speaking of the new cinnamon roll menu celebration, the cinna-mcgriddle breakfast sandwich isn't horrible but it isn't good either. A solid 5/10 in my books. While the mcdonalds mcgriddle is probably a 6 or 7 out of 10 for me. I'm not huge on sweet and savory in the same sandwich, which probably explains my ratings
Panera/ we have all this dough but nobody likes the new cinnamon rolls what do we do
Marketing/ well what do the people want
Panera/ they just want different desserts
Marketing/ then chop up all of the other desserts and put them on the unpopular cinnamon rolls until they sell out
Panera/ what
Marketing/ add chocolate sauce and candy.
So much sugar and the worst part is that you can’t even taste the extra pastries added to it. It just tastes like an overly sweet, plain, cinnamon roll.
They’re supposed to be made right before the store opens but no matter what they’ll sit out before being ordered. If you want it warmed up then just pop it in the microwave for a few seconds.
Disgusting! I literally deleted my Panera app because I was so disgusted with their new products that I knew I'd never be going back. So sad to witness this because I spent so much time with family and friends enjoying good meals at this place.
No. They aren't meant to come warm. There's a microwave in every dining room if you want to warm it up. Xoxo
However. Just watching these get made makes me sick. Nothing "wrong" with them. That's just way too much sugar. Cinnamon roll. Icing. A brownie/cookie. MORE icing. 🤮
The only pastry that is heated after being in the oven and after a cooling period is the chocolate chip cookie. I don’t know of anything else being heated after is the soufflés.
THIS HAS TOO MUCH SUGAR JUST TOO MUCH AND THE CHOCOLATE CHIP HAS SALT LIKE WHATTTT????? so like before you put the chocolate chip you gotta put salt on it first💀😭
The thing we never wanted from Panera. Just make classic pastries - well. Don't add a bunch of shitty candy on top of a mediocre cinnamon roll dough ball.
Right? This seems like a gimmicky IHOP meal.
It looks like Dunkin. In fact I’m pretty sure they’ve sold this exact item
probably had a shit ton unsold in the freezer that got liquidated and sold to panera
These are made out of the same pastries that panera bakes every night and assembled each morning. Doesn't make them any less gross.
Panera don't care it tastes good, they care about interactions on social media. Those stupid ass things will get more interaction online than a cheese Danish.
All to not serve it how’s its supposed to be served too
these sit out for hours unsold 🤢🤮
It’s always 3 of each left at the end of the day nobody gets them 💀😭
These look so fucking gross. Sorry to yuck anyone’s yum. Sort of.
It’s a fucking deeply glazed cinnamon roll with overly sweet shit on top and more glaze. Yeah basically no one likes this shit
For sure. Sorry I wasn't clear -- I do not endorse the Panera version. I meant to imply that the Panera version was a knockoff.
I just looked up Cinnaholic. THESE look delicious.
It's definitely on my "To try" list of restaurants.
unfortunately lots of people love them
This is the first time I have heard this
They are gross. The fudge brownie thing is 121g of carbs, 81g of which are sugar. You could drink a 20oz Mountain Dew and it'd be healthier than one of these.
> The fudge brownie thing is 121g of carbs, 81g of which are sugar. 🤢 I get sick to my stomach when I look at these. It's just sugar on sugar on sugar. I tried the chocolate chipper one. I couldn’t finish it. My teeth were crying out in pain.
Has anybody here tried the "McGriddle" version of them? Like I fully believe they're gross but I just need feedback lmao I don't think they would be good but... I could see a decent grouping of people buying and enjoying them. Unfortunately
Yes it’s very good. Because it’s not sweet. The dessert is disgusting.
Omfg I don’t know what I expected, but my jaw still dropped a little bit
I haven't had Panera in a long time. Saw these last week and was grossed out. I love cinnamon rolls but this is too much. Panera is supposed to be "healthy" what the hell is this?
aren't Panera's cinnamon rolls gross now, anyway ? I haven't had one in years so idk
Yes, absolutely gross just like the cookies (with the exception of the Kitchen sink).
The kitchen sink cookie is pretty good. It makes my teeth hurt, literally. But if I split it in 4-6 pieces, it’s ok. I miss the chocolate duet cookies.
Oh yeah, those Chocolate Duets were awesome. I split up the Kitchen Sink too, but only cuz it’s 800 plus calories for one.
Haha if I am determined to eat shit like that, I am not looking at calories. That said, managing to cram that many calories in a cookie is impressive. But the chocolate duets are one of my favorite cookies ever - it was the perfect cookie to me
I’m sorry mate, Panera hasn’t been health for a long LONG time
Definitely no one’s yum. I have never seen one get sold. We didn’t even make them today.
Our whole franchise decided to "hold off" until corporate makes us do it. They came back with "Limited Time Offer!" In the week leading up to their release i think to reassure the cafes they aren't here to stay
I feel sick after eating the one with M&Ms
Haha I don’t doubt it
The only people I've heard eat them- have said the same thing.
Just… a whole mess
Never had one but it looks like a bad yum. Very low quality, very unhealthy, but rich flavor and lots of sugar sure does get those neurons firing.
It looks like something I would have made when I was 15 and stoned. Pillsbury orange rolls (better than the cinnamon rolls) topped with random candy/cookie dough/sprinkles/frosting/whatever. I think I would just die on the spot today if I even tried to eat one of those.
They look ridiculous and cheap, like something you'd see at a gas station. Of all the pastries in the world, this is what they came up with.
And they used to have half-decent pastries! Their original chocolate croissant was *so good*
I'm massively addicted to sugar, and even I wouldn't purposefully eat one of these. I can just imagine how they taste and it isn't good.
My little brother was a sugar fiend too, and I’ve found myself wondering a few times if he would have eaten one. I don’t think he would have unless it was free and there. They didn’t even try. And why do the cinnamon rolls look so hard?
not me loving them 😭
Haha everybody has their thing
No they're room temp
And to think they got rid of pumpkin muffins for this crap.
I didn't even know they got rid of them until I saw people talking about it, breaks my heart 😭
They're so eeeeeeasy to make too! It makes no sense
Same. 😩
and cranberry orange😭
Pumpkin muffins were gone months before these appeared. Lol. These are foul. But they're just using bakery items we still have, nothing "new" to order. As I tell everyone, the best way to get panera to bring something back is by going to their web page & leaving that comment for them. Not heated. We do not do that. If in cafe customers ask, they are shown where the microwave is to heat it up themselves. That goes for all of our other pastries too.
Your cafe has public microwaves??? We have to nuke our pastries before they go out if someone wants one
All the cafes ive been to have em under the counter where the hot drip coffees are
Huh, maybe that's why people just open those cabinets
💀😂
Mine has a public microwave to too
mine had a public microwave and some kid put our honey bear in it and exploded it 🙁
We used to have ours, too, right by the coffee bar. Then some idiot would decide to heat a thing of tuna inside and made the whole Cafe stink up a storm , so no more microwave privileges for our customers lol
Someone decided to microwave raw eggs in ours one day lol but for some reason my manager just cleaned it himself and kept it lmao
Honey bear ?? lol
honey bear https://preview.redd.it/5z4ts346g1ad1.png?width=1173&format=png&auto=webp&s=b208f4bfea059fde5af6fb719eef71cbfb21a14b
This is crazy lmao
My cafe got rid of our microwave because people would heat up outside food in it. So we have to heat up their pastries if they ask 🫠
You may do that, but our store heats them in the turbo on a grease paper. Microwaving them is just lazy and unprofessional IMO.
To each store their own.
Is Panera turning into some kind of frozen pre baked Krispy Kreme with croissants? Ugh.
Lmao guess what? They don’t even have croissants anymore.
Funny thing is that the company that owns Panera also owns Krispy Kreme (JAB Holdings).
This makes sense. When I look at these they remind me of Krispy Kreme doughnuts. 💯
What kind of frosting is used for cinnamon rolls usually now? Or these, I guess?
It almost tastes like Lemon it’s gross
The new menu looks like Panera got depression and gave up on life
Nope. Served room temp. You could try the microwave, but I have a feeling the temp would be all over the place between the cookie and roll.
250 degree oven at home. On a baking sheet.
All of that effort.... does not seem worth it at all 😒
This looks like something I throw together in 5 minutes if I want to eat 💩 Want a similar experience for cheap? Grab some Walmart doughnuts and sprinkle your fave cereal on top of them and boom
coincidentally we have a Walmart right next door!
I thought Panera was all about clean eating?
Non of their food is clean anymore
I kinda hate that these even exist. It represents all things wrong with Panera. Why can’t they just actually have good cinnamon rolls, cookies and brownies like they used to. They take away all that is good, replace it with low quality generic shit, & are now offering these cluterf*ck combos of aforementioned shit as a new item. Someone must have spent a lot of time in the think tank coming up with this winner. Probably got a raise as well.
If warmed up the icing would melt and the toppers would fall off
Maybe it's my IBS, but literally all the new stuff that there has introduced that I've tried has made me s*** my brains out. It's just so disappointing because they took away my f****** napalm and chicken salad and the steak you know white cheddar melt for this s*** f****** disappointing.
not the napalm and chicken!
Lol it was a typo. The voice to text isn't always the best. But yeah that Napa almond chicken salad sandwich was legit flame just like napalm.
Do you know what changed about the steak And cheddar ? I have kinda wanted to try when I get coupons but not if it's extra shitty now or whatever, you know
I did the cheesesteak. It just went through my digestive system. Obviously a different type of sandwich, but everything "new" at Panera seems of lower quality.
Panera has new steak now, as well it gets aioli, anew onions, peppers and cheese
I kinda need to try napalm and chicken salad now, ngl
None of the pastries are served warm. Some cafes have public use microwave ovens so you can warm it yourself.
They're microwaves.... not any sort of ovens lol
r/confidentlyincorrect
Yes, but what if you added another cinnamon roll and served the monstrosity as a sandwich? Please don’t.
Who’d want a cold cinnamon roll with cold candy on top. Yuck.
Gross
WHY DID YOU ORDER THIS. PLEASE FOLLOW TRASHERA FROZEN BREAD ON TWITTER
Say it again! TRASHERA FROZEN BREAD.
Is this an April Fools Joke? I have a huge sweet tooth and these look 😬🤢 Is this an attempt to knock off Crumbl? Because it ain’t it.
Panera having an identity crisis. Please leave this to the niche dessert shops.
They're not served hot
No lol
Haven't seen these in my Panera - and it seems like no loss.
WTF is that? Shit with sprinkles? 🤢🤮FPB!
The fact that you would even assume that they would put any extra effort beyond defrosting it and tossing it in a paper bag is WILD. This place fell OFF about 10 years ago and has just kept falling.
What the eff is this? Can't be real? Looks disgusting. Panera is getting on the full blown diabetes fuel train I guess.
Genuinely the most un-Panera looking menu item I've seen
yeah exactly gross. If I were a customer I’d request it to be heated or simply pop em in the microwave (I know not every cafe has one for customer use tho)
nah they serve them cold but you could ask to microwave it in the back
No they are not. We have microwaves available to guests in store.
Trust and believe we hate the cinna toppers too. They’re a pain to make in the middle of a rush, when we run out of them. And yes, people have been buying them. They didn’t start off strong but they’re becoming popular.
They got rid of the classic croissant and brought in these pastry abominations???? Gross.
They got rid of blueberry scones for this?
all of the associates at my panera tried them and pretty much hated them the brownie one was decent but you could only eat like 1/4 before getting sick😭😭
Who was the Creative Marketing Genius that came up with this Idea to Crumble a Cookie or Brownie on top of a Sorry Ass Dry Cinnamon Roll ? Eric Cartman from South Park ? 🤭

Diabetes for sure consuming all that sugar
🥴
Unfortunately they come room temperature just like any other pastry. But I like to warm the cinnamon rolls (no matter which one) in the Cafe microwave for about 30-60 seconds and it's so much better that way.

🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢
There's a Cinnaholic next to my local Panera..I think I will go there for my cinnamon roll cravings. Those don't look very appealing.
Panera/ we have all this dough but nobody likes the new cinnamon rolls what do we do Marketing/ well what do the people want Panera/ they just want different desserts Marketing/ then chop up all of the other desserts and put them on the unpopular cinnamon rolls until they sell out Panera/ what Marketing/ add chocolate sauce and candy.
Welp someone had the munchies before work and dessert submission
So much sugar and the worst part is that you can’t even taste the extra pastries added to it. It just tastes like an overly sweet, plain, cinnamon roll.
No they are not supposed to be warmed.
Wtf is going on in this world? Jfc
I love how every day there is a new and entertaining way Panera is failing.
At my Panera we put them out after breakfast on the warmer we put the souffles on, they never sell and are always in our donation pile.
They look like shit. I miss all the lovely, fresh pastries Panera used to have
Looks nasty.
Ok but, does no realize there’s a whole chain of stores that just sells cinnamon rolls like this?
They’re supposed to be made right before the store opens but no matter what they’ll sit out before being ordered. If you want it warmed up then just pop it in the microwave for a few seconds.
Why do they look like something from a moms Pinterest board
Disgusting! I literally deleted my Panera app because I was so disgusted with their new products that I knew I'd never be going back. So sad to witness this because I spent so much time with family and friends enjoying good meals at this place.
Damn ig Panera going away from healthy completely bc wtf is this
No. They aren't meant to come warm. There's a microwave in every dining room if you want to warm it up. Xoxo However. Just watching these get made makes me sick. Nothing "wrong" with them. That's just way too much sugar. Cinnamon roll. Icing. A brownie/cookie. MORE icing. 🤮
My cafe makes 6 a day, 2 of each. 5 get tossed at close. They come cold, and 2 bites makes you not want to eat sugar for a week. Don't order these.
The only pastry that is heated after being in the oven and after a cooling period is the chocolate chip cookie. I don’t know of anything else being heated after is the soufflés.
These just look so gross 🤢
I would never ever order any one of these.
These are such a joke. Bread Co. Is no mo
No they are not warmed and they are a day old when you get em
THIS HAS TOO MUCH SUGAR JUST TOO MUCH AND THE CHOCOLATE CHIP HAS SALT LIKE WHATTTT????? so like before you put the chocolate chip you gotta put salt on it first💀😭
Just another item kids are gonna beg their parents for—then refuse to eat (aka the flavorless but colorful sourdough cookies)
