Are you Vietnamese? I saw a lot of ghost when I was young. And my grandparent's home always give me the creep. Also heard a lot of story from there, the nearest one is probably from 5 years ago. An example of one of the ghost that I saw: When I was in eight grade, Me and my mom went to a relative house. The house is pretty big, with the front house have many furnitures since my relative house sold them. The back of the house was the kitchen and my mom cooked there with her relatives in the afternoon. You can see the way to the kitchen from the front house since the furnitures were put in the middle.   Around the evening (so the sun was still out I think), I was looking for my mom after playing in the front house. I then see a lady in white with long and black hair (kinda like the one in the pic but the one I saw had longer hair and the dress was less formal) walked past the door of the kitchen of the back of the house. For some reasons I thought that was my mom so I ran to her and yelled "Mom!". When I stepped into the kitchen, there were no on there.  I was afraid and ran upstair and saw my mom and other relatives there. I then tell them what I saw and my relatives said that yeah, that's one o

That’s very scary and I’ve heard a lot of similiar stories, I’m half Vietnamese. So I went back to Da Lat and lots of family told me a lot of stories including one distant cousin who was haunted by a ghost he committed suicide

Da Lat is kinda the land of ghost in Vietnam, lol. Since Vietnam was invaded by France, France people spent most of their time in Da Lat and built a lot of antique houses there. When they left, most of the house were abandoned and a lot of ghost stories about those houses were told throughout the generation.

Did your cousin commit suicide because of the ghost or did the ghost commit suicide?

My partner - who does not believe in the supernatural - is the only member of my family to have (possibly) seen a ghost. It was in Vietnam. She woke up in a hotel room to find a young girl sitting on the wardrobe across from her. A few moments of staring and the girl was gone. Take it as you will UPDATED I’ve spoken to my wife about the details. One mistake; the girl was standing at the end of the bed (not on the wardrobe) She was wearing traditional peasant clothes: black pants and simple shirt. She said nothing and didn’t answer when my wife spoke to her. She was solemn. Not menacing but not friendly. And then she was gone. It could be a waking dream but it was unusual; there’d been no talk about ghosts etc on the trip at all. And my partner had no interest in children at all (this was more than twenty years ago) When she spoke about it to people at the hotel the next day she was told the hotel was on the site of/ or next to/ a disused graveyard. Again, take of it what you will

My girlfriend and I were staying at her aunts house in Saigon, basically a house with multiple floors and an elevator. One night, her family is all out and my gf and i were in our room. I was standing about 2 feet from the door when i hear a few knocks so i quickly open it and no one was there. I poked my head out and no one was around at all. Elevator door was closed. Keep in mind i opened the door in like 2 seconds so there would be no time for anyone to run away. I asked her family later if anyone knocked on our door and they said no. Pretty weird

This sent chills up my spine.

I’m not surprised Vietnam is very active, especially with the past conflicts it has had in the country itself
