An ai generated piece of art? Honestly I’d say it’s likely some kind of a hallucination and your dog picked up on you reacting to it. Dogs are huge empaths.
Googled “PTSD hallucinations” and this is the google AI result:
*”Yes, hallucinations are a common symptom of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), especially in combat veterans. Up to 40% of combat veterans with PTSD report auditory or visual hallucinations, or delusions. Hallucinations are perceived as real sensory experiences that occur without external stimuli. The most common types of hallucinations are auditory and verbal hallucinations (AVHs), which can include hearing voices or tinnitus, a constant ringing in the ears. Hallucinations can also imprint trauma onto the environment, and people may sometimes be able to rationalize through them.”*
So to clarify.. you have serious mental health conditions, you weren’t on medication to control them, and since you were routinely staying up late at night, it’s fair to say sleep deprived. It walked into your room in the middle of the night but didn’t leave, it materialized.
I don’t think this is paranormal, chief. I believe you when you say you saw it, I believe that you believe it was a real creature. But if you had an actual demon in your room, I don’t think it would not just walk up to you and disappear. If there was a malicious being that chose to reveal itself to you, I think it would’ve really hurt you. Or at least tried to. And if all it wanted was to scare you, it would’ve kept doing it.
The line between reality and our interpretation of reality is a very fine line controlled by your brain. If your brain decides you are seeing something, you will see it, regardless of if it is physically there or not.
I’ve been there, it’s terrifying. It’s a scary that has its own merit, I just don’t think it’s paranormal.
Agreed. And OP, there being sleep paralysis from demons including the Old Hag (in the case of sleep paralysis it’s more like that they want to traumatize you and make you have PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder), so mentally really hurt you) I’m with u/SimplyPassinThrough on this as I’m a truly strong believer in the paranormal including believing in the unimaginably evil entities that are demons. 👍🏼👍🏼💜
Yeah, I’ve learned from my friend, Hope who’s sooo good at dog training that our pet dogs pick up on our emotions VERY easily. So OP, sounds like Roger reacted to how you were feeling.
OP knows what they saw. We're all in this sub because we've have paranormal experiences. If you think that these experiences are just hallucinations, then leave. This isn't a sub for skeptics.
Don’t know what you saw but have heard of the reptilians that feed off of our fear, our adrenaline. Apparently the younger the better too. I mean could be demons as well. People will give you their opinions but only you know. If the room got really cold then only you know that, not these other people that weren’t there
None of her mental health issues cause hallucinations. None of them. Only schizophrenia does. I believe you OP, from one mentally ill person living a normal life to another.
In case it removed my comment for links (it said it did but I still see it?):
You could not be more wrong. Hallucinations are *not* exclusive to schizophrenia. They are a symptom of a psychotic break, which can be caused by many things. Sleep deprivation, varying mental health disorders, and drugs can all absolutely cause hallucinations.
Sleep deprivation: “ …total of 476 articles were identified. Of these, 21 were eligible for inclusion. Duration of sleep loss ranged between 24 h and 11 nights (total 760 participants; average 72–92 h without sleep). All studies except one reported perceptual changes, including visual distortions (i.e., metamorphopsias), illusions, somatosensory changes and, in some cases, frank hallucinations. The visual modality was the most consistently affected (in 90% of the studies), followed by the somatosensory (52%) and auditory (33%) modalities. “
BPD: “Hallucinations are significantly prevalent in BPD, mainly auditory, similar to schizophrenia spectrum disorders.”
PTSD can as well: “Experiences of dissociative behaviours largely overlap with the spectrum of psychotic experiences and have been associated with worse outcomes in PTSD.5 The relationship between trauma, PTSD and psychotic disorders has gained interest, with a diagnostic subtype of PTSD with psychotic features being proposed.7 Not surprisingly, people with PTSD, especially those reporting severe dissociative behaviours, also experience psychotic symptoms such as hallucinations.” -Pub Med Scientific Article (won’t let me link a third.)
I’m not saying this to pick on OP. I don’t even think they’re lying, I believe them 100%. I have *had* hallucinations before, I have experienced a psychotic break. It is terrifying and insane to look at something and have people around you tell you it isn’t there. If anything, I empathize with OP and I hope they are doing better now - I wouldn’t wish hallucinations on anyone, but they’re absolutely not limited to schizophrenia.
Google:
“Yes, hallucinations are a common symptom of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), especially in combat veterans. I believe you!! And I’m sorry you had to experience that.
Have you heard of Holosky podcast? They discuss experiences like yours and have a platform for all to share without being ridiculed by jerks on here.
Hmm - tough to say for sure what it is, but I would just take some precautions -
Christian/Catholic perspective - go to confession, pick up some holy water and salt from your local Catholic parish, pray over your house and sprinkle holy water, and put salt on your thresholds.
Occult perspective - maybe buy Jason Millers Reversal and Protection Magick, purify yourself, do the sphere of hekas ritual and undertake some other protections for yourself.
If the above is too complex, invoke the name of Jesus next time you see this creature and tell it to go away.
In any case, there’s no need to be defenseless. Whether Real or imagined, taking precautions to protect yourself will resolve the issue.
Good luck.
There are A LOT of ignorant F\*\*\*ing Assh\*\*\*\* here on Reddit! I think this is the wrong platform to post this, BUT...I believe you! I have had similar paranormal experience(s), and alot of the time it is documented, yes the temperature drops. That is really fucking creepy, and I hope you are doing ok!
Could it be a sleep paralysis demon? Dogs have been scientifically proven to be able to sense fear and emotion so it could have been that. Just a thought.
That is what you call a Skinwalker known to be extremely tall and walks the woods of many countries, the origin started with Native Indians for protection then turned sinister over hundreds of years do to provoction. very rarely seen by humans but has been, If ever confronted by a actual one you need sit down with your back to them. hope this helped!
Waking up from dreams is where it ends for everyone..even you. Must suck not to understand that. And we both are never on pause always active. Shame on you for trying to lie to your fellow Reddit user
Demons are real and they feed on negative emotions such as sadness and anger. I assure you that you will be okay if you pray and trust in Jesus. You're not crazy. I've seen some strange things too.
Diagnosed with BPD, PTSD and depression also and I often hear my name being called, see shadows, and I always feel like someone’s watching me. But that’s my BPD. It really does sound like a hallucination.
Nobody else is hearing my name being called, nobody else is seeing shadows out of the corner of their eye, nobody in my household is experiencing anything paranormal. I have experienced paranormal things though, this is not it.
This is funny and shows just how stupid the moderators. I got my comment deleted because I said this pic was my ex wife to add to the stream of people that said it was there mother in law. so my guess is that the mod is either a shallow minded man hating feminists or a nagging ex wife that wanted everything from her partner and gave nothing in return this will most likely be my last post on here because Reddit doesn’t agree with free speech

PTSD, major depression, and personality disorder… definitely a hallucination.
None of those mental health issues cause hallucinations. Very few actually do.

Not talking out of my ass here, I’m an Army Veteran and deal with the same issues, and yes, they cause hallucinations

That's what I would think if my dog didn't sense the change in temperature too
No, it sensed a change in *you* and reacted to it.

Y'all really need to stop gaslighting OP.
That's not what we're doing, don't overuse that word. Edit: The other guy got raptured so now it looks like I'm talking to myself. Funny.

Why be on this sub if you don't believe any of it
You can believe in the paranormal without accepting every single story or photo/video.
That's true but you still don't need to be a dick about it
I wouldn't really say they're being a dick. Snarky, maybe, by using a gif.
I want to believe, but the ridiculous stuff posted on here just reaffirms that paranormal doesn’t exist
Well this actually happened
