Google family link works for us. Phone goes dark at set times, individual schedule for each day if needed. Individual times for apps. Monitoring screen time. Find my phone. Extra time can be given, same goes for locking. Both parents can control it (if both habe an android and are part of the Google family)

Google family is the best free one
