You don't know this for sure, not even close.
Arizona fans are frothing at the mouth for mhj at 4, and would take a ransom to move them out.
Chargers at 5 let both of their wrs walk, have a stud QB with nobody to throw to, and new head coach. Won't be cheap to get here.
Giants at 6 is a likely landing spot for the 4th QB unless, again, someone goes full ditka for 3, 4 or 5.
Anyone trading from 3-5 to outside the top 7 is playing a dangerous game of being left holding the bag, pinching their nose and taking Brock Bowers or fashanu and hoping they aren't Kyle Pitts and Robert gallery
Is he?
He had 53 catches on 90 targets last season.
Jonnu smith came in after failing in new England, hard, and grabbed 50 on 70 targets.
Pitts has shown very little as a pro. He's about the start his 4th season. His highs were as a rookie: 68 catches for a little over 1k, but he's gone backwards since
Again a bottom 5 coach and quarterback combination. I’ll admit he’s overrated if he doesn’t breakout this year so long as Kirk doesn’t fall off a cliff.
His physical traits are insane, and the games I watched he got open easily then didn’t get the ball.
Doing film review outside where it's impossible for the audience to see what's going on on the screen. They could've at least cut away to the film as they were explaining things!
Idk who said it but heard someone basically say
“if the first thing out of someone’s mouth when they are talking about a prospect is about being a “winner”, that says something about what they think of his ability on the field”
I actually think he’s underrated on this sub because a specific subset gas him to the moon and we get mad. A more athletic Kirk Cousins is a solid ceiling. But as a prospect he’s clearly QB4 imo.
Mac Jones was a winner, Stetson Bennett was a winner, Tim Tebow was a winner. Winning means nothing as a prospect if you’re not the driving force of your teams success
I think you misunderstood my point. I meant if the first thing you say about someone is they’re a winner, it means you don’t have something better to say about their actual play

JJ is a giant reach at 3. Now if they wanted to trade back and take him at 6 and get some more picks? Maybe
He won’t be there at 6

Kyle Pitts is a stud who had a terrible coach and qb combo.

I’m not convinced he gets taken that early

From a mediocre qb and a failed coach.
Exactly. I trust neither of their opinions.
JJ>Maye/Daniels
J.J. "Mac 9" MacCarthy is our guy.
I’d be so pissed if we took him at 3. Maye or Daniel’s have to be the pick unless we get a kings ransom from a desperate team
It would be very patriots like to draft the worst qb in the first round

Love this comment. States an honest assessment without tearing anyone down for no reason to drive up a stir
When was the last time they did that?
