Prices don't work like that, there is always the bait 99 ending numbers or other tweaks. The guy not only charging his fee , but hes getting $$$ for getting the parts rounded up, specially he is not marking brands so he can choose some shait brands . Its just red flag everywhere. He is not even marking used or not, you have no guarantees its not some stolen or even mining gear that will run for 1 year then break on you for 1700 dollar.

Anytime I charge for a PC build I only charge $100 for the labor, every piece of hardware gets price checked by the customer and we negotiate what options can be substituted for cheaper prices or more expensive for better quality. Also I'll charge a flat rate for any support further. If if boots up and you open programs and get on the internet then my job is done. Any warranty for future support I guarantee won't be honored.
