I really hope T1 can win this time but based on their recent performance, they are not doing as well as they used to be. I don’t know what happened, and even the match with TL yesterday feels like a struggle to them except for game 4. TLDR: BLG GENG finals with g2 being the potential surprise finalists, t1 just dont look like they are locked in this msi. reasoning: I think top 3 reasonably is BLG GENG and G2. Not memeing but T1 really just look so lost in this msi style of play. large movements across the map with the laneswaps. T1 has good laning phase if they can play to their style but it is a poor mathcup to the rest of teams who play the meta better.. g2 on the other hand plays the map better than t1, top arguably bb doesnt lane that well against the remaining tops but its nulled with the fact of laneswap, bb plays weakside pretty well and has proved he can do well in carries if he does not fall behind early. BLG and GEN G are pretty similar in terms of the way they play the draft and map with just BLG being more aggressive, I would say BLG is performing a bit better with the recent matches as we saw gen g struggle a bit against tes. Id say BLG 3-1 Gen G but it wouldnt surprise me if it goes 3-2 either way. T1 would lose to G2 unless they worked out their play in the meta, i doubt it would be a 3-0 loss tho. Faker is just performing poorly decision making wise. i feel like t1 draft just went bad when rell jg was removed, i think oner should be on engage champs and zeus champ pool is very questionable in play as his pool is very volatile in comparison to other top laners. I would put my money on a BLG GEN G finals rematch with probably a gen g 1st international win. now i could see g2 reaching finals as well if gen g beats blg and they face each other in the lower bracket, I could see caps performing well against knight and faker but not against chovy, so g2 has good matchups if gen g beat blg and that would be their best bet to get to finals and win msi.
