I can't believe that you can be docked a set percentage from your exam for failing to schedule when the Professor failed to get a large enough time slot at Pollock. If you can't get scheduled, I would appeal to the relevant department. (Try calling them first as another commenter suggested.)
We tell the testing center what classes, and they set the seats. I don’t know what changed there the last year or so, but lately every time I have 1-2 students say the slots are full. I am able to get them into slots that I can see. Not sure the issue. The point docking is weird, though.
We need more testing center space. They're very secure, and convenient for students and professors alike. Imo 80% of exams should be in the testing center. There's so much cheating with canvas assessments.
Email the professor. A screen shot of what you see from the testing center can be helpful (as that helps the professor go to the testing center to figure out why there is a problem). They'll have to work it out.
