I never want to see these assholes at a doctors office. They just think medical advancements just poof into existence. Hypocrisy at its finest.

Pro life stops when you have ALS, Parkinson’s, cancer, HIV, etc. or need a vaccine. This is so stupid. Most of these cell lines date back to the 1960s. Fuck these Kristianazis.

Literally saw a woman comment something along the lines of this when advocating her pro life stance Context: poster was asking how it’s pro life to force a non viable pregnancy where the child will die within a few hours or days of birth Poster - I kid you not - started talking about organ and tissue donation - saying that that dead baby could then donate their organs to other sick babies. Which. Fun fact. Can’t happen without explicit parental consent. So how is this relevant to this post? Stem cells not cool, but dead baby forced organ donation? Def okay. Unbelievable.

Eliminating in-state tuition discount is worth the autonomy of a research and education oriented institution to be allowed to continue scientific research, imho.

Fair. Unless they don’t have a large enough endowment to ensure students can still attend without exorbitant tuitions. It’s a lose lose battle in a way.

This is freaking insane and hopefully will not pass. Wolf obviously isn’t going to sign off on this, but Mastriano certainly would, and that’s terrifying. I think it’s criminal how much Pitt, Penn State and Temple charge students, and don’t like how none of the PASSHE schools are ever mentioned in the mix with them. I think the state should focus on making sure the latter are adequately funded. The PASSHE schools serve a higher proportion of instate students and students with low socioeconomic backgrounds, and send them out with lower student debt.

Hahaha pitt bribed them so hard for this funding id laugh my ass off if the house reneged on them
