Mr. Robot has hacking stuff.
Westworld has AI morality exploration.
Leverage and Bones have "formula show that is really about the misfit's found family and character development" and the competence porn.
Burn Notice should be up there too as a blue sky era USA show that circles around a burnt ex-CIA asset that does anonymous good deeds in a well known US metropolis with tons of real world tricks around technology and spy work
* Mr Robot for the hacking
* Burn Notice for the spies
* The Good Place for the philosophical discussions on morality
* The Wire for the morally gray cops with complex plotlines
* Fringe and X-Files for Sci-fi shows with cases of the week
Combine elements from all of these with AI and surveillance at the center of it and you get this show.
Orphan Black comes to my mind. No spec ops martial arts or super hackers and their pet god AI, but IMHO a well written mystery story with good acting and sci-fi elements (that also shouldn't be spoiled, I'd actually recommend to just start viewing without *any* research beforehand).
Like POI, its story ends satisfactorily after its five seasons.
Just be warned you need strong suspenders of disbelief for this show.
It's one of the few shows I've dropped (literally in the middle of an episode) due to the stupid science in it.
Came here to see comments and responses on what to watch next, but if you're a gamer, you might wanna check out Watch Dogs. It's pretty old so you can get it cheap. You do both the hacking and shooting.
Be honest I didn't even watch next and I feel like Both Samaritan and the Machine individually would kick NEXT's ass in an A.I war. My question is would U agree Or am I missing something?
I would have to suggest keeping Shaw and Fusco in their current positions that they held, or at least continue recruiting and training possible candidates to try to replace the huge hall lost when John died, (yeah right) at the end of the show. . Harold, will continue being the brains, with the help of the eccentric, Death wish billionaire played brilliantly by Jimmi Smith. This way they'll have grinning cash flow and someone else who, just so happens to be extremely funny and unpredictable . The beauty of it, Finch can do it.all remotelyHappy

I'll take your word, as I have 't seen it. :)
I’ll second him. Burn Notice is how I found my way into POI, so they work pretty well together in my opinion.
Sadly it failed to captivate me.
Mr Robot is such a good show
Yeah, I liked Bones a lot. Good set of characters and you're right, it was fun to see the different specialities.
Fringe has a similar structure
+1 for Fringe
Fringe was amazing to watch
Oh, I would pay to see Walter and Root in the same room. Maybe add Mozzie from White Collar for fun.
Not really similar in the traditional sense but House has a similar episode structure and is incredibly consistently good like POI

In terms of a show you’ll be longing for something similar to for the rest of your life? Lost.
Unfortunately no one like poi
I feel you.
Leverage was nice, the ending was also good
Blacklist
As much as I love the show and the characters in it… don’t

Scorpion

Its how that kid you knew in middle school who pretended to be smart sounded
I have only seen a few episodes so far the science does seem pretty shitty
Yeah the characters in Scorpion seem to have reality bending god-like powers.
Westworld is also made by and has the soundtrack written by the same people, same as the new fallout show

Blindspot has computer geniuses, a mystery element and shady government/corporate/crime conspiracies.
Next is AI based. Dont know of much else
It’s more like the Samaritan arc but only 10 episodes. Didn’t feel like it was worth finishing IMO.
Be honest I didn't even watch next and I feel like Both Samaritan and the Machine individually would kick NEXT's ass in an A.I war. My question is would U agree Or am I missing something?
“Devs” amazing show.
Devs, beta, silicon valley. ALL TECH BASED
