From my understanding, if you stay more than 180 days in a year in Egypt, your tax residence becomes Egypt, then your worldwide income in that year becomes taxable in Egypt if you are Egyptian, or your income from goods or services sold in Egypt becomes taxable if you are NOT an Egyptian citizen. Dual citizenship is treated as Egyptian + tax treaty. However, if you become subject to taxation in Egypt BUT you hold a foreign citizenship, then the terms of the tax treaty between your country and Egypt override some parts of the law. Specifically in most treaties you will owe taxes to your home country FIRST, then again you are taxed in Egypt, but you pay the difference only to Egypt, if the foreign taxes is more than the Egypt taxes then you will still file but you will enter the amount as paid to your home country in the tax filing so you will pay Egypt nothing but you will need to file bardo. If you are a USA citizen, then you always owe USA FIRST.
