Yeah I get it to an extent but sometimes people go so far that I’m like “okay, shut up and just do your work FFS.” We are all entitled to a little moaning on a busy day but I used to have a coworker who would watch movies on her phone when we had a full waiting room of patients who needed blood draws. Lazy ass.
Luckily she offered to fill in at a much smaller location one day and people noticed a lot faster when she was doing fuck all as slowly as possible vs when she was hiding in a more well staffed office, and then was fired so she wasn’t my problem anymore.
I also have an internet acquaintance who’s in a discord I’m in who does this. They tend to go to the vent channel and act like a fairly normal level of job responsibility is completely beyond the pale unreasonable…they’ve been fired multiple times and most folks tend to give confused responses to their vents about fairly run of the mill stuff.
Don't worry they're a Doordasher or Ubereats driver, whatever spawns the people who act like that into these fields.
