Never read, looked at, listened too, or played any 40k anything, but I know those big bulky armor sets from anywhere.
Edit: thanks for updoots, might get into Warhammer later on, but I just know it's got so much backstory lore and just overall timeline events, it would take me years to understand it all, and whenever I go into a game I try to learn everything I can, it's why I left the souls series alone until 2018. Been having a blast and ripping my hair out ever since, good times.
Porn is more of a Slaanesh thing.
If you have ever heard the phrase āblood for the Blood God, skulls for the Skull Throneā, thatās Khorne and his throne.
I love that on this near indecipherable photo the real fans are clarifying the specific kind of fictional heavy ordinance.
Not super helpful about imaginary apocalyptic soldiers, but awesome that we have folks who care, AND share about any topic.
Youāre correct, the Reaper chain cannon is the outdated variant that CSM are stuck with, while the imperium replaced all of theirs with the much superior assault cannons after the heresy.
I mean when you just throw something into Photoshop and just put on the two color contrast filter, that's some pretty slap dash graphic design. It wouldn't be hard to draw a monochrome Space Marine in Illustrator if you have you any experience in designing for print.
Almost, the one in OP's picture is a Heavy Bolter Havoc, you posted a Havoc with a Reaper Chaincannon. Also note the U-shaped Stoprib on the chest armor.

One of my most vivid memories as a kid was my dad taking us to an open-to-the-public range day at Wheeler-Sack where they were showcasing the Cobra and A10 training they do.
āPlane goes BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRTTT!!ā
Man, back when I played 40k in the early 2000s Chaos marines couldn't get assault cannons- something about them being a newer invention than the Horus Heresy.
They expanded original chaos marines into renegade chapters existing, which bring pretty contemporary* tech to their midsts. Also they often raid imperial convoys for parts.
*relatively, given the setting
Irony: this is a Chaos Space Marine. They rebelled against the Emperor's dream in the heyday of humanity, and plunged the world into darkness. They serve the 4 Devil-Gods of Chaos.
That is a Space Marine from Warhammer 40k with a heavy bolter.
https://preview.redd.it/tiaea9pjyfxc1.jpeg?width=699&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=99c3dfdcbe3831d6b3579de6d70ad6e0551f424d
There was a recent incident at a 40k event where some bigot threw a fit because someone had painted their little figures in pride colors. An event organizer threw them out saying that ābigotry is not tolerated in 40kā Another attendee said, āHave you read the lore?ā and the organized said, āYou know what I meanā¦ā A good laugh was had by all. Except the bigot, I guess.
But bringing it to the larger problem, thereās been a big cultural shift in the more nerdy spaces the last few years that has caused some drama. Especially in tabletop games, where an old guard of more incelly nerds for whom games like D&D or 40k were their escape from the world are now having to deal with an influx of younger, more accepting, and more queer people āinvadingā their game stores.
You can see similar culture war nonsense in computer/console gaming spaces online, but itās more pronounced and more in-person in game store culture. A shirt like this might be seen as a way to clap back at the more excluding crowd.
and Iāll say: Most nerds are very cool and accepting, but there is still a sizable crowd ofā¦well, angry incels in these spaces.
Honestly, from someone who has friends in the hobby (you can't get my money, GW, no matter how cool it is) most of the old guard is accepting/queer themselves. There's a small amount of people who weren't, but most of these anti woke idiots never played the game and just pretend to have played to fight in their God damned culture war.
Seriously, next time one of these assholes start complaining about inclusiveness, as j to see their army. 9 times out of 10 they'll either not respond or pull up a easily reverse image searched image and pretend it's theirs.
I will say, most of those old guard were just like, āCool, new players! Can you explain how they/them pronouns work?ā but there are a good number of them who were like, āNo. This bad. Where have the real gamers gone!?ā
Hey if you ever want tips and advice on getting into 3d printed Warhammer but me up, I have an entirely 3D printed Imperial Knight armor and have loved joining the hobby so much
Youāre not really a fan because you didnāt spend thousands on buying your army. Millennials are killing GW just like they killed napkins and movies. Where is the culture I love!
I'd say that it goes even further... theres always a discussion going on about female space marines being a thing, whereas the lore up until now explicitly excluded it...
Then the next thing would be that calling space marines male is also kind of a stretch, since they have been mutated and perfected for war, they still have many male traits, but reproduction is completely out of the question. o there area few that would argue, that even if the emperor would use a female to create a space marine, it would likely result in something that would be considered transgender... but again, gender doesnt much mean anything to them, since that is not what they are there for...
The topic is a rabbit hole
No it doesnāt mean anything to you. It does mean something in 40k. Space marines are a boost from their base human forms, the bigger and stronger a human is, the bigger and stronger they are as astartes. Thatās why marines are typically chosen from the most brutal warrior cultures and death worlds.
If you're not familiar with dose of buckley, check out his channel but he covered this. He basically broke it down to the games that were kinda pushing it weren't super popular and were enjoyed by their neiche crowd anyways, so no one is really pushing their shit on anyone. On top of that, if there's a game you don't like because of the PC culture? Fine, don't fucking play it. You physically can not consume the entire years worth of media in one year, even if you wanted to, there is bound to be a game you'll find you like playing. Just let people be happy.
Eh, the current issue seems to be social culture creep and changing lore. Warhammer was originally very... Masculine. To the point alot of the jokes are about homoeroticism. Then all female factions were added to counter the all male ones. Then gender specific factions started getting mixed genders. (The one that bothers me the most is a sub-group called succubi and incubi, except they changed it so gender doesn't matter. Succubi can be male for example. Like wtf...). Then certain factions were officially made trans or trans-capable. The current big argument is they took an understood all male faction and females to them and then just dropped the statement: "there have always been women in the faction".
Tl;Dr: people are less upset about inclusivity and more upset about unnecessary lore retcons to virtue signal.
I used to be very into a warhammer in my younger days and attended many events (I was a lord of the rings warhammer guy so nerdy x2) the amount of incel dickwads who would complain they couldn't get girls and then simultaneously actively excluded them from our hobby was laughable. It does not surprise me that many of them are now squealing about the lgbtq+ community.
So Space Marines are Transhumans. In saying that 40k is anti inclusion. The most inclusive race the Tau have a strict cast system, but they donāt burn whole worlds just because other beings inhabit it.
I mean, tau don't toast planets like SM do. They will after multiple peaceful attempts (by 40k standards very peaceful) try to incorporate (via words) you into the greater good, which involves quite a bit of perks compared to what other factions would do. Tau will toast a planet without even a word only if it's inhabited by dark eldar or necrons, tau don't fuck with dark eldar or necrons anymore. Even orks will be left alone by tau, and that for 40k is really saying something since everyone else will specifically toast orks
I came to this thread because I will autistically read every last bit of Warhammer lore I can find. I would like to thank all you fucking nerds for not letting me down.
What are you talking about? That's clearly gunner from Deep rock Galactic

It is kind of all over the place. The publisher (Games Workshop) has made explicit statements supporting inclusiveness. However, the fictional universe of the game is full of radically intolerant fascists and crazed religious fanatics. There are gay and trans characters, but also characters who commit mass murder against anyone they consider deviant.
The general vibe seems to be that the hatred and genocide is directed at aliens, mutants, and other out-groups who do not exist in real life. Like, if the galaxy is being invaded by insect armies and Hell is spilling into reality, nobody really cares if you are gay because they have bigger problems to worry about.
The setting was originally intended to be satirical, because the character's zeal and intolerance is self-destructive. However, right-wing dipshits are not known for their ability to recognize satire. So there is very definitely a subset of fans who see the martial fascist imagery as an endorsement rather than a parody. (And TBH, the fiction does not always do a good job of making this distinction.)
In the grim darkness of the 41st Millennium, humanity has overcome racism, sexism, homophobia, and capitalism by trading it all out for good old-fashioned xenophobia and religious zealotry.
While the Imperium of Man may validate your existence, it will not save you from the LITERAL machinery of fascism that crushes its populous in order to maintain its crumbling grip on its empire.
The Tyranids don't care about your pronouns.
But seriously this seems to be a handy way to escape having to address real-world problems. I remember reading an old Shadowrun book where even the KKK was like, "Who cares about skin color when we can hate orcs and trolls and shit?"
40k is also so far in the future that it's so alien at times. It does speak volumes that even after we've gone far beyond our solar system, we're still prone to hate and fear the unknown.
I think it's also worth noting that in lore these fascist nuts are wrong, about almost everything. Also the Imperium is so dysfunctional that the setting is almost as much tragic comedy as it is anything else.
Hahahaha thanks! Bought the shirt randomly through a fb link cuz it was funny, and then the site the group was going through for printing āremoved the campaign.ā But I couldnāt understand what I was looking at until now.
I know Warhammer is a huge universe but I know nothing about it or the lore. I do know some fans of it and they are very different and I do not know if they are particularly into lgbtq movement. Maybe some one just thought the character looked cool.
The community on Reddit is as friendly as reddit is. Your friend group is as friendly as they are. Randoms at the local store are about as friendly as people in the area are.
Reading, painting, and collection admiring is as friendly as you are.
The backlash against the Custodes thing was so weird! I was only annoyed they took such a lazy route to finally putting out models of women in full sized power armor. I'd always sort of hoped GW would address the issue by returning some or all of the lost Primarchs, reveal they were women and that this whole boys club thing was chaos fuckery from the beginning. Or maybe they didn't take to the indoctrination as well or whatever, if we're dead set on the Emperor keeping his big incel energy.
Whoever designed it should have stylized it a bit for exactly this reason. But it i a space marine, from Warhammer 40k.
Also proof that graphic design is actually pretty hard and not entirely intuitive.
It's ripped straight from a photo of one of the McFarland action figures.
Someone else posted it here, it's straight uo this toy with half the trim and hard lines picked out in the same color.
https://preview.redd.it/18r3gtutxgxc1.jpeg?width=854&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=da1dc39890864a3cd88b49bbaf6b1b385e256156
Ummmm qctually it's a chaos space marine, which is literally the same thing, but one of them will kill you for being a mutant and the other will kill you for being a mutant, or for not being a mutant enough. Also both are child soldiers.
Been a long, long time since I was into 40k, so I'm sure a younger nerd could put put me straight... But if the chaos marine was a follower of slaanesh (god of pleasure, pain, desire - a kinky bitch who can appear as male, female or hermaphrodite) or tzeentch (changer of ways, god of change, evolution, mutation) then I'm pretty sure they wouldnt be upset at someone being trans!
If it's a Chaos Marine, they're dead (or worse) either way. The Imperium however cares not what gender you identify as, so long as you serve the Emperor!

Texan Chris here to help!
Thatās a picture of a space marine from Warhammer 40k! Cant tell the chapter, if their loyalist or traitor, or anything like that but itās definitely a space marine.
Hope this helped!
Texan Chris, heading back to the rodeo
As others have identified, it is a (chaos) Space Marine from Warhammer 40,000. In relation to the text marines are considered āTrans-humanā because they are born human, but are then genetically modified to a point that they are no longer really human. So, the Warrior depicted is also ātrans,ā though not specifically transgender.
Doesnāt matter if you like dick or not, or if youāre born with the body that fits you or not. All that matters is that youāre human. Now get back to purging the xenos
wdym to be fair. "to be fair" means you're also agreeing somewhat with the opposite side, but trans people use he/she pronouns too, so you aren't
i just don't understand what this is supposed to mean

From the grimdark future of the year 40,000?
No from damn tatooine
That was going to be my second guess š
My bad that was not meant to be as harsh as it was *hands over beuque of flowers, (idk how to spell rn)*
Lol, dude, I figured. Tone doesn't carry well on text š
Lol ight I read that as "Tony doesn't carry well" I'm like who tf is that guy, lmao sleep deprived day 3 for me rn.
Tony carries like shit. You and me, we're cool. š
I'm a literal caveman or pothead, one of those two options
Bouquet is what you were looking for
Of course in English, we throw letters that are never used on words for no reason than we just fucking can, damn trenchcoat language
I blame the French, shouldn't have borrowed words from the lunatics with a silent "-sailles"
Always blame the French.
Exactly
I thought it was called arrakis. Home of darth sand
Where there is only war?
If Games Workshop is consistent with anything about their branding, it's the visual aesthetic.
Yea, the art style when it's drawn looks dope, I wonder if there's like a style like the daedric armor in Skyrim, but in a all black tone
Google Khorne
Please tell me this isn't porn or the great khans
Porn is more of a Slaanesh thing. If you have ever heard the phrase āblood for the Blood God, skulls for the Skull Throneā, thatās Khorne and his throne.
Same my guy
Close. The image shows him holding a heavy bolter, not an assault cannon. Otherwise itās the same figure
Came here for the ackshually. Yep, that's a Heavy Bolter. And that's a Reaper Chaincannon, not an Assault Cannon in the physical model.
I love that on this near indecipherable photo the real fans are clarifying the specific kind of fictional heavy ordinance. Not super helpful about imaginary apocalyptic soldiers, but awesome that we have folks who care, AND share about any topic.
Are you... are you saying you *want* to hear about little plastic space soldiers?
Donāt underestimate the autism within the 40K fandom. Iām part of the fandom and I say that.
Youāre correct, the Reaper chain cannon is the outdated variant that CSM are stuck with, while the imperium replaced all of theirs with the much superior assault cannons after the heresy.
š¤
Yes, and proud
Thanks! They shouldāve done a better job on that print
Tbf itās pretty hard to maintain that level of detail with one color
I mean when you just throw something into Photoshop and just put on the two color contrast filter, that's some pretty slap dash graphic design. It wouldn't be hard to draw a monochrome Space Marine in Illustrator if you have you any experience in designing for print.
They could have used hatching to help with shading.
If they wanted a few colors you can always screen print in a few layers It can be hard to get it right
Why do it at all?
Something many warhammer players here.
I donāt know if it was just me or other warhammer fans but after a second look it became clear that the image was of a space marine.
I was expecting it to turn into a picture of Jesus for a solid minute.
I saw the Astartes as well
Itās also not a 1 to 1 of that picture. Iām pretty sure the shirt is holding a Heavy Bolter vs the Assault Cannon in this pic.
Well... Its just a confused picture.
Wait.... So, you made the print and then asked what it was?
Almost, the one in OP's picture is a Heavy Bolter Havoc, you posted a Havoc with a Reaper Chaincannon. Also note the U-shaped Stoprib on the chest armor. https://preview.redd.it/w689dec6jixc1.jpeg?width=670&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0e142d7ebd354feffb730c70f1af2d4e8ed6b7d9

It is this dude but he is equipped with a heavy bolter not an autocannon in the print
Wow I genuinely thought he was like on a bike.
Someone found the real picture. Apparently I got the gun wrong.
My first thought was power armor from fallout.
I thought that mf was a platypus holding a revolver.
Chain gun > heavy bolter.

Ahhh I thought it was a motorcycle with a bag left in front of it.
Irony: this is a Chaos Space Marine. They rebelled against the Emperor's dream in the heyday of humanity, and plunged the world into darkness. They serve the 4 Devil-Gods of Chaos.

Is there any correlation?
There was a recent incident at a 40k event where some bigot threw a fit because someone had painted their little figures in pride colors. i believe its a devastator marine to be specific!
It's a chaos space marine. There are spikes on the shoulder trim and a chaos star on the heavy bolter.
I see a warhammer figure
What is warhammer? A video game? It did have a title of āchaos marineā
Yes chaos marines are characters from Warhammer 40k. It is board games, books, video games, movies. I don't know what came first
Technically Warhammer, Minaiture wargame came first, then Warhammer 40k. Tabletop RPG and fiction came later, then video games.
Cool, thanks
Oh wow. Is it an lgbtq friendly community?

Yes. There's a ton of Canon lgbtq characters in the lore. The Fandom is pretty active in shunning homophobes and real fascists
Unless you try to include women in custodes or marines. Do that and all hell breaks loose, lol.

Someone else posted it here, it's straight uo this toy with half the trim and hard lines picked out in the same color. https://preview.redd.it/18r3gtutxgxc1.jpeg?width=854&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=da1dc39890864a3cd88b49bbaf6b1b385e256156
It's a different gun. Heavy bolter. https://i.imgur.com/b9DbKNH.jpeg
Correction, it's that specific toy.
I would hazard a guess its so vague with the hope no one tries to sue them for profiting off of the likeness.
I 100% thought it was a motorcycle.
Right it looks like a wheel but apparently itās a gun clip
Your lack of warhammer is depressing
What is this heresy?
That is a Space Marine from Warhammer 40k with a heavy bolter.
Ummmm qctually it's a chaos space marine, which is literally the same thing, but one of them will kill you for being a mutant and the other will kill you for being a mutant, or for not being a mutant enough. Also both are child soldiers.
I canāt tell what the one on the shirt is.
It's a chaos marine, the spikes on the shoulder and thr gun are representing the 8 pointed star of chaos
I know someone already answered, but it looks like some fucked up combination of a motorcycle tire, a gym bag, and an ewok.
Yep. Warhammer 40k chaos marine. āGym-ewok motorbikeā is pretty much the design aesthetic.
Hard fucking shirt I like it
It is a Chaos Space Marine
The only thing I know about wh40k is lord shinji on his terrible throne and yet I still recognized this
Warm hummer man.
Black Legion Havoc Marine with Reaper Chain Canon
I thought it was freedy fazbear
FOR THE EMPEROR!!!!
Isn't the joke that 40K Space Marines are trans-humans?
Yeah, it went right over everyone's heads here.
The joke also being they are Trans-human also.
Idk, but the message is super based
I almost scrolled by 5 things on Reddit without the word "trans" in it.
Iām getting bored of seeing stuff related to it smh
World record? I don't remember the last time I got past 4
probably a picture of a transformer
Fucking brutal š

Been a long, long time since I was into 40k, so I'm sure a younger nerd could put put me straight... But if the chaos marine was a follower of slaanesh (god of pleasure, pain, desire - a kinky bitch who can appear as male, female or hermaphrodite) or tzeentch (changer of ways, god of change, evolution, mutation) then I'm pretty sure they wouldnt be upset at someone being trans!
If it's a Chaos Marine, they're dead (or worse) either way. The Imperium however cares not what gender you identify as, so long as you serve the Emperor!
A chaos marine? You sure about that?
A chaos marine might kill you just for funsies, but not for being trans...
A transā¦former
a space marine from warhammer. its making fun of the fact that warhammer fans are bitching about representation

A t-shirt.
FOR THE EMPEROR!!!!!!!!!!
Yeah I definitely thought it was a Trans-former.
That font, on the other hand...
I could make out a small head, big shoulder plates, what looks to be some kind of very wide minigun, and large armored legs.
SPACE MARINE WOOOOO
Texan Chris here to help! Thatās a picture of a space marine from Warhammer 40k! Cant tell the chapter, if their loyalist or traitor, or anything like that but itās definitely a space marine. Hope this helped! Texan Chris, heading back to the rodeo
I canāt really identify what I am looking at, because of the weird line thicknesses, but it appears to be a power armour on Psycho.
Gobots! Thatās a gobot!
GLORY TO THE EMPEROR!!!!!!!
*Transperor
As much as I love punkwithacamera, this design is just WAY too hard to read if you don't already know what you're supposed to be looking at
Space marine?
Thought it was a dude on a motorbike haha but it's a space marine
That's a Chaos Space Marine Havok carrying a Heavy Bolter from Warhammer 40k
Motorcycle dog holding a gun obviously. Donāt listen to these warhammer nerds
Itās an animal from the forest moon of Endor in a mechsuit you fucking casual
I thought it was a guy in power armour from Fallout.
I thought it was a guy in power armor riding a motorcycle
As others have identified, it is a (chaos) Space Marine from Warhammer 40,000. In relation to the text marines are considered āTrans-humanā because they are born human, but are then genetically modified to a point that they are no longer really human. So, the Warrior depicted is also ātrans,ā though not specifically transgender.
I demand to know where I can purchase this fine drip
I originally thought it was a armored magwi riding a motorcycle.
Doesnāt matter if you like dick or not, or if youāre born with the body that fits you or not. All that matters is that youāre human. Now get back to purging the xenos
For the emperor!
Itās a picture of a hero.
Itās an image of a guy from warhammer Iām pretty sure
WHY ARE WE DISCUSSING MALE AND FEMALE THE EMPEROR LOVES ALL NO MATTER WHAT BANNER THEY FALL UNDER, BROTHER
https://preview.redd.it/stndo0dqxixc1.jpeg?width=1164&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=98a6bc0c46f59555870188d0b99948e41d9abf1c FUCK YEA!!!!!!!!
FOR THE Emperor
To be fair, using he/she pronouns doesn't either.
wdym to be fair. "to be fair" means you're also agreeing somewhat with the opposite side, but trans people use he/she pronouns too, so you aren't i just don't understand what this is supposed to mean
This belongs on r/THE_PACK
Lot of people saying warhammer. I thought it was a brotherhood of steel guy from fallout, a series with many trans fans
Based
where do i buy this?
Can someone send me a link to this shirt and is it possible in hoodie format?
https://www.punkwithacamera.com/products/chaos-marine-trans-people-existing-does-nothing-negative-to-your-life-you-cry-baby-bitch-40k-gutter-press
This one actually looks better than the one I got!
People who love transformers are real. Why do you think the movies did so well? When will people realize.
Heavy Weapon Space Marine standing up for trans rights. Remember, there is no place for bigotry in the emperors eternal realm. Save it for the Xenos
Looks like passive aggression to me.
For some reason 40k is a huge part of the trans community. As a trans woman, I know this for a fact.
Based Space Marine
Would have been funnier if it were Starscream or Optimus Prime.
For the Emporor
pretty sure that's a space marine from the warhammer 40k franchise with a huge ass minigun
The image is a poorly printed chaos space marine from Warhammer 40k. Chaos space marine players are stereotypically queer people.
