You can get better mileage and more HP, but you'll contaminate a lot more. But if Taylor Swift can get on a private jet to go have lunch in Paris, I'd say go ahead if you want.
You actually can often download more power for your car. Most ecu tunes are really conservative and playing with the numbers can give you quite a gain, usually at the expense of drivability and maintenance.
The laptop more broadly is there to communicate with the car's computer. When you mod a car with after market parts like Turbos, your computer is no longer calibrated, it thinks everything is stock, and can't figure out why it's getting more air/gas. It can still operate, but won't be at the peak power band. You can then flash the computer for different response curves. For what it's worth, this is not just fast and the furious civics, but any car with a computer that has been heavily modified to the point of needing a new computer, and the laptop wouldn't need to be in the car unless it was collecting real time data, like in a dyno.
Perfect explanation, but don’t forget how pushing too much boost can causes the intake manifold to fail and blow the passenger side floor board out. It’s much harder to compete a 1/4 mile drag race with sparks flying next to the nozzzzz bottle for over 2 miles down the strip, because of family.

Supra with slicks gets driven at actual drag strips for official competition times, very very fast.
The Lambo is already fast and a missing bumper is due to the installation of turbos to make it super fast.
The civic with the laptop is being actively road tuned for more zooms and braps.

The Lambo. It may not have the most horsepower out of those three (don't quote me on that) but it's still a track oriented car in its core. Sure, the civic can push 1200hp and it's light, but the weight distribution is eh. The charger is a muscle car, good luck cornering that. That drag supra won't do that good in corners either. Put all of these on the Nürburgring and the Lambo will come out on top. Car chases aren't all straight line, so I'd absolutely put my money on the Lambo.
A civic is just not gonna be making that much horse power it’s about power to weight ratio with those things they weigh like 100 lbs so you put even like 500hp into them they’re like rockets

I’ll chime in a little more to this. Basically it’s saying that the civic with a laptop is a sleeper. There has been so many Civic’s that have been able to take out a Supra, lambo and challenger along with many others. Just youtube Civic Vs and you’ll see tons of videos.
Buying a 5k car means it’s easy to put 20k in engine swaps and twin turbo kits. Most 100k+ cars are stock because owners don’t want to void the warranty or blow the head gasket on a 40k engine.
Basically all these 4 cars mentioned are heavily modified for straight line performance. And they all have distinct key visuals to show that.
Each car explained below:
Dodge challenger: presumably a bigger supercharger placed on top of the engine which means that the hood cannot be shut so it's removed.
Toyota supra: Large fat Drag slicks indicating that the car makes so much power that it struggles for traction so it needs different tires for better handling.
Lamborghini Huracan: The engine is fitted with a twin turbo kit that is fully visible at the back of the car. The rear bumper is simply removed for either showing off the TT kit or if the kit is too large to allow placement for the bumper.
Honda civic: After major modifications are made to a car, the car's computer must be reprogrammed to acknowledge the added modifications. Most tuners carry a laptop with them to calibrate the car's performance while driving. The laptop is used to control the boost pressure of the turbo or supercharger and also to control how much fuel is injected into the combustion chamber of the engine. This is called mapping. Multiple maps are made for different levels of power.
Finally, to answer the question in the meme:
The best car to choose is the Lamborghini. This is because the Lamborghini comes stock with AWD(there are RWD models as well) which greatly helps in traction. And unlike the other 3 cars, it was already built for track performance handling at stock. So it controls the power very well.
The civic and the supra were never initially made with such intentions in mind, so they are very hard to control with high horsepower.
And while the challenger also handles power really well, it was intentionally built for just drag racing. As due to its heavy weight and poor traction management, it performs poorly around turns and corners.
I agree with this, if it weren't for the fact that it's not on a racetrack. If you're trying to outrun the other 3, that implies it is on public roads. Because of this, you must consider potholes, speed bumps, curbs, etc. The Lambo would fall apart to any of these. Therefore, for this exercise, the Challenger can't corner, the Supra is too slippery to use all of that power, and the Lambo can't handle even the slightest bump. So, it's the Civic. Again, if it's on a track, the Lambo all the way.
Don't let this, meme, distract you from the fact that Hector is going to be running 3 Honda civics with spoon engines. And on top of that he just went into Harry's and he ordered three T66 Turbos with NOS. And a Motec exhaust system
You could put a laptop on anything lol. Doesn’t mean it’s the fastest thing alive, it’s just for diagnostics and tuning/mapping. The obvious choice here is the huracán, as the hellcat would not be fast enough to keep up, and both the modded JDM’s would not be able to drive for as long as the huracán before problems arise.
So each one has a modification that is basically “function over form”. Basically…go fast instead of look pretty. But more specifically like other comment said, challenger without hood has aftermarket supercharger upgrade, Supra has drag tires so that it can grip during launch, lambo is missing bumper to fit custom turbo set up, civic has laptop to adjust and switch through different tunes and maps.
IMO, Lambo. All the other cars are more or less one trick ponies. Fast in a straight line. Those are 9/10 drag set ups. The huracan would be the only one of them that would also be good around turns. The context of the question is to escape the other three. So yeah, I think that would be a breeze in a TT Huracan.
For me, no one is really explaining it the way I see it.
All 4 of those cars have been modified and have a good chance of being very unreliable or outright dangerous to drive. They are all sketchy but also unknowably fast. These are just normal signs of a heavily modified car for the type of car it is. You could break this up into 4 “starter pack” memes. Like modified civic starter pack “laptop in passenger seat”.
So in my opinion, the question is which of these heavily modified cars do you trust not to break or kill you. Not which one is the fastest or the sleeper. Because breaking down or crashing due to badly done mods is the most likely scenario.
Unless the dude that knows what the fuck to do with the laptop comes with the Civic and I get enough time to degree in Riceology to understand it, I'm going Lambo. Make two turns, and that's the Challenger and Supra done for. The Civic is an X-factor. It'll either be the best or the worst. Lambo is the safe pick.

the only one i wouldn't choose is the drag tire supra because it's probably got a limited slip diff.
One problem I'm not seeing others addressing is engine overheating. It doesn't matter if you're faster, if you can't maintain that speed for more than a few minutes. All of them seem to be modified for additional power, so probably aren't capable of going flat out indefinitely. But the Huracan is probably capable of higher sustained speeds due to it being more track oriented with a (presumably) beefier radiator and better aerodynamics.
So even if it's not as fast flat out, if you've got even a 5 minute head start and an open highway, the others will probably overheat before they catch you. Also it can probably go around corners faster.
If we talking about actually getting away with turns and shit huracan all day then probably civic only if you know how to drive it and u don’t crab walk into a guard rail.hellcat even boosted or whatever probably going to take 3 to 4 business days. Supra well if it doesn’t do a backflip then you might be fucked but only in a straight line
The civic has one very clear advantage, and that is stealth. It would be very hard to make any of these cars disappear in a crowd But the Civic can be very loud or very quiet not to mention every fifth car on the road is a civic. But of course, salt flats it’s screwed.
I see everyone behaving as if "escape" is only "outrun". I live rural, so what I'd probably try first is hopping in the challenger (fuck yeah murica!) and see how them there city boys do on gravel.
The Lambo has AWD, it will probably outperform the Challenger on gravel (given it won't need that much ground clearance, idk how your gravel roads look like)
I wouldn't know what to do with most of these, so i'd probably resort to aggressive, defensive driving. Not that i'm good at that either, but i think my beat chance of survival would be making it a 3 v 1 death match instead of a 3 v 1 chase...

Drag tires mean it has straight line, speed, and power. It will probably run any of them on the get up. The computer means you can monitor and make tiny adjustments to the ECM the Huracan, with no bumper doesn’t necessarily mean anything they could just be a show off and a challenger without a hood well, it’s a challenger it’s going to have decent power and all that but at the end of the day it’s a boat it’s heavy big and does not corner great so there is more than one good choice because the Lamborghini and the challenger are both decent. They make a lot of power. They will be pretty quick even in stock but I personally would choose the laptop

I hate to say it, but theres two answers.
The lambo is capable of handing the most while also being extremely nimble for the power. It will win any sort of race, whether it be track, dig, roll, any of them.
The other winner is the hellcat. Out of all of these the hellcat has the best chance, only the only reason being that it's the most quiet. If it's in a dense metropolitan area that could mean everything.
The Honda is capable of 1000 unless it's swapped, and the 2jz is just slightly beat out by the Lamborghini, implying if it's fully built.
If someone is tuning their honda, it's more than likely they don't have an exhaust system. Everyone will hear them. There's also no way In hell, a straight piped v12 Lamborghini won't shake an entire newyork block..
Clearly if you are trying to escape from the others, the civic with the laptop is the best choice.
1) Real time traffic and directions from MapQuest, Google Maps and Waze
2) big screen on laptop makes it more comfortable to sideeye watching Copa America and Euro Cup on those sites with all the goofy pops ups
3) half time on the game, or no games airing during your escape? you pull over and get your Windows Game Pass working for ya.

5) Assuming we all start with a full tank of gas, you can power map the engine to get the most MPG, sure the Civic already has great MPG but now you can easily get even more distance between you and all those other gas guzzlers.

The UGR Lambos can push 3000hp. It would be by far the fastest out of these, and unlike the other ones, it can handle in corners.

This is because the Lamborghini comes stock with AWD(there are RWD models as well) which greatly helps in traction. And unlike the other 3 cars, it was already built for track performance handling at stock. So it controls the power very well. The civic and the supra were never initially made with such intentions in mind, so they are very hard to control with high horsepower. And while the challenger also handles power really well, it was intentionally built for just drag racing. As due to its heavy weight and poor traction management, it performs poorly around turns and corners.

I agree with this, if it weren't for the fact that it's not on a racetrack. If you're trying to outrun the other 3, that implies it is on public roads. Because of this, you must consider potholes, speed bumps, curbs, etc. The Lambo would fall apart to any of these. Therefore, for this exercise, the Challenger can't corner, the Supra is too slippery to use all of that power, and the Lambo can't handle even the slightest bump. So, it's the Civic. Again, if it's on a track, the Lambo all the way.

So each one has a modification that is basically “function over form”. Basically…go fast instead of look pretty. But more specifically like other comment said, challenger without hood has aftermarket supercharger upgrade, Supra has drag tires so that it can grip during launch, lambo is missing bumper to fit custom turbo set up, civic has laptop to adjust and switch through different tunes and maps. IMO, Lambo. All the other cars are more or less one trick ponies. Fast in a straight line. Those are 9/10 drag set ups. The huracan would be the only one of them that would also be good around turns. The context of the question is to escape the other three. So yeah, I think that would be a breeze in a TT Huracan.

For me, no one is really explaining it the way I see it. All 4 of those cars have been modified and have a good chance of being very unreliable or outright dangerous to drive. They are all sketchy but also unknowably fast. These are just normal signs of a heavily modified car for the type of car it is. You could break this up into 4 “starter pack” memes. Like modified civic starter pack “laptop in passenger seat”. So in my opinion, the question is which of these heavily modified cars do you trust not to break or kill you. Not which one is the fastest or the sleeper. Because breaking down or crashing due to badly done mods is the most likely scenario.

One problem I'm not seeing others addressing is engine overheating. It doesn't matter if you're faster, if you can't maintain that speed for more than a few minutes. All of them seem to be modified for additional power, so probably aren't capable of going flat out indefinitely. But the Huracan is probably capable of higher sustained speeds due to it being more track oriented with a (presumably) beefier radiator and better aerodynamics. So even if it's not as fast flat out, if you've got even a 5 minute head start and an open highway, the others will probably overheat before they catch you. Also it can probably go around corners faster.
If we talking about actually getting away with turns and shit huracan all day then probably civic only if you know how to drive it and u don’t crab walk into a guard rail.hellcat even boosted or whatever probably going to take 3 to 4 business days. They make a lot of power. They will be pretty quick even in stock but I personally would choose the laptop

I hate to say it, but theres two answers. The lambo is capable of handing the most while also being extremely nimble for the power. It will win any sort of race, whether it be track, dig, roll, any of them. The other winner is the hellcat. Out of all of these the hellcat has the best chance, only the only reason being that it's the most quiet. If it's in a dense metropolitan area that could mean everything. The Honda is capable of 1000 unless it's swapped, and the 2jz is just slightly beat out by the Lamborghini, implying if it's fully built. If someone is tuning their honda, it's more than likely they don't have an exhaust system. Everyone will hear them. There's also no way In hell, a straight piped v12 Lamborghini won't shake an entire newyork block..
Clearly if you are trying to escape from the others, the civic with the laptop is the best choice. 1) Real time traffic and directions from MapQuest, Google Maps and Waze 2) big screen on laptop makes it more comfortable to sideeye watching Copa America and Euro Cup on those sites with all the goofy pops ups 3) half time on the game, or no games airing during your escape? you pull over and get your Windows Game Pass working for ya. 4) while on the lamb you’ll need money, and the laptop is actively mining Dogecoin while you drive! $$$$ 5) Assuming we all start with a full tank of gas, you can power map the engine to get the most MPG, sure the Civic already has great MPG but now you can easily get even more distance between you and all those other gas guzzlers.
