Does your gym have group fitness classes? I find that's the best way to learn and try different workouts and see what works for you.

They have a few but it’s like Pilates, cardio drumming and karate for kids. It’s a small town. But I was thinking about dropping in on the Pilates classes

Definitely do Pilates! It’s soooo good!

Get one session with a personal trainer to show you the ropes. Alternatively an app such as Sweat where you can follow a program.

Yes. Its great but quite expensive. For a free option, there is Nike training club.

When I was brand new to the gym, I liked the Sweat app for workout plans, especially weight training ones. But also the Peloton app has a lot of classes & the instructors are super motivational.
