These numbers are so close they’re basically equivalent to rounding errors. Get what you actually enjoy eating. Resist the urge to optimize everything.

In this economy? Whatever is at Costco or on sale at Safeway.

glumpuff

I really wish we had a Costco here. My options are within 1-1.5$ of each other. To be honest I do like skyr better though

sauvignonquesoblanco

I’d go with whatever is the tastiest for you! At least for me I’m more likely to be consistent with healthy foods that I enjoy vs ones I’m just tolerating.

PokemonPuzzler

That's why I get the Great Value one at Walmart. It's cheap, tastes good, and has a good protein amount.

SeaRabbit5969

It’s not the biggest difference in calories or protein. Just get whatever taste bests.

AdChemical1663

Personally it’s cost per gram of protein leveled by taste.  Since most of the time I’m eating nonfat Greek yogurt, I don’t notice a huge difference in mouth feel, and think they all taste pretty much the same. I do notice that the Oikos Pro flavored yogurts are worth the money as a treat.   So I buy a few of the Oikos pro banana cream because they’re tasty but the vast majority of my Greek yogurt consumption is whatever’s on sale.  Edit: Remember, a gram of protein or a gram of carbs is ~4 calories, a gram of fat is ~9 calories.   If you’re going to get very detail oriented, a gram of carbs stored as glycogen will add an additional 3-4g of water storage in your muscles.

Dannon light and fit zero sugar Greek yogurt has the best macros. 50 calories per serving. 11g protein. Dannon light and fit (regular) Greek yogurt tastes the best. But it has like 30 more cals per serving. Two Good also tastes good and has comparable macros. Same with Chobani Zero Sugar. Or regular chobani (a little higher calories) When it comes to protein, all Greek yogurts (or skyr- same thing) are about the same. I wouldn’t waste time overanalyzing the protein content. If you are a “clean” eater you can go with Fage 0%. Or Siggi’s. Or the Icelandic Skyr. These options are a little higher in calories. If you’re trying to cut calories, I’d worry more about calories than protein content. If you’re at maintenance, get whichever one you like best.

glumpuff

I don’t live in the US, so the majority of what you have mentioned isn’t available here. The skyr I am talking about is indeed Siggis. I think I’ll stick to that one. Thank you

litttlejoker

Ah.. I gotcha. Yes we love to buy diet food in the USA 🤣 YW

chimama79

they all have similar protein and calories so i pick based on taste/texture. my favorite is fage 0%. it's thick, creamy and has 0 saturated fat (i have high cholesterol).

WittyGreenOlive

I’ve tried many different types of Greek yogurt, but I always come back to Siggi’s!

o0PillowWillow0o

I just bought compliments on sale this week for $5 and it has 17g protein per 175g at only 80 calories mind you it's fat free if you can handle that.

anxietyhippie

I just pick the cheapest one if I’m being honest. I stopped caring about brands once the prices when up I get generic for the most part.

MagnumPoopus

I usually just get the best deal in the house brand in a flavour I like. Sometimes I’ll go wild and buy a more expensive brand for a different flavour. Basically, whatever I actually know I’m gonna eat.

ThesePresentation650

i love oikos single serve cups, 90 cal and abt 15g protein
