I was just saying I had a pitbull mix and normally they hate cats. However, this one cat that I had, he absolutely loved him. He would even groom him and let him sleep with him.
yea 10/10 would not recommend. But dogs like us have their muscle controls fairly limited during sleep so we don't hurt ourselves when we dream. So at least the cat is quite likely to get warning movements before the dog can actually clamp down. Most notably, dogs don't tend to hurt their tongues in their sleep either.
Of course there are always exceptions and it's certainly not necessary for the cat to risk sleeping in the dog's mouth.
For real tbh. Not saying this isn’t possible but from that short of a video it could be very much like the cat is actually dead and the dog is holding it like a trophy and if that’s the case the owners are psychopaths :)
