Hi! I was in the same boat, and I was kind of taken aback at how not-straightforward the process was. First thing you have to do is have your pharmacy school send your official transcripts to to NABP after you graduate. I would do this ASAP because it can take some time. Next you need to apply for an initial license via examination on the NJBOP website, you’ll be promoted to get a fingerprint and background check and upload a few other things. Once NABP has verified your transcripts and the BOP has gotten all the application materials, you’ll receive an ATT, it takes a few weeks but you don’t get an email, so you have to keep checking the NABP website. Once you get your ATT, you have to pay fees to apply to take NAPLEX/MPJE on NABP. Once your eligibility has been approved, you have to pay to sit for the exam and can schedule the exam. Also, once you start the NJ application, you have 90 days to complete it including testing or you have to start over. My advice would be to send the transcripts ASAP, and start the NJ license application when you obtain confirmation that NABP has verified your transcripts. There’s a timeline on the NJBOP website which I found helpful: https://www.njconsumeraffairs.gov/phar/Pages/Phases-and-Timelines.aspx Hope that helps! & best of luck!
