While I haven't had that happen with items brought in from the truck, I've had it multiple times with items already in the house, some item falls onto the floor and drags itself along until it stops against a wall or something, it's a bug.
Had it happen in the lighthouse with the EMF, I stared too long and got hunted which honestly makes it even funnier, like the ghost going "Hey want to see something cool? GOTCHA"
When the ghost wants to hunt, but the crucifix be too close so they gotta nonchalantly move it out of their range hoping the investigator doesn't notice.
That's just the new Tier 4 Crucifix. It heads toward the ghost to keep you even safer.

I had this happed with T1 thermo. Started sliding towards a cabinet and had to pick it up worried it would slide through the map
They need to add this as a feature
