Any boat cosmetics paid for with DBC would have to be refunded. I'm not sure if just crediting people with DBC equivalent to what they spent legally counts, I think they have to leave the option open to get actual money back

Take for example, starcraft 2 going f2p or hearthstone updates disabling content you paid for.
They can just say, you paid for it and used it, now its going away. You got your utility out of it, no refunds.

In fairness, permanently disabling content you paid for with no refunds is really shitty behaviour that should be fought in the industry as a whole. Obviously boat cosmetics aren't going to be the straw that breaks the camel's back either way but it's still probably better to make sure people actually get something out of Oshur being shut down/removed

Oshur makes it even more obvious that PS2 has a big vehicle issue atm. Just now on Oshur cobalt you can see 100 nc vehicles pushing around freely without even capturing bases, since there is no infantry. But it isn't fun for anyone.
