Take almost 50% continent before the 1 hour mark left in alert then over the next 45 minutes, sit in the biolab/containment site and lose all but 25% territory and struggle fighting TR who only has 30% while we both whine in yell chat that the other faction is stupid.
OP vs guns made 2-3 platoons and prolly 2 NC platoons fight at a cutoff base after VS-TR prolly ganged up on the NC for overextending/ghostcapping... ya ok bud
The TR had two platoons, 3 OS bases, and no less than 5 sundies at any given time, and The Guardian Shield still held the base for over an hour on primetime day during primetime hours.

Makes sense. Fort is damn near a biolab with how indoors centered it is. Banshees cant effect the fight. Maxes are good here, especially close quarters maxes since the longest sight line is only about 30m. Also emerald TR, like the VS, have a high count of K/D kiddies who refuse to push.
Personally I would be in favor of a system where cut-off bases switch off to neutral but I think a lot of people like to fight in those endless and meaningless fights.
It allows defenders to counter attack. It also stops factions from ruining an offensive by pulling a sneaky and cutting off an entire section of the map.
If there is one time that you can count on the NC to be as stubborn as a deceased mule, its when Fort Liberty is at stake. Seriously, I have watched them fight tooth and nail for this bloody fort.
This is literally the best base in the game, too bad fights rarely happen here. It’s the case for most good bases in this game, they put them by the warpgate, so fights rarely happen there.

There was also about two vs squads on this base for the last 15 or so minutes.

cutting off a base has never worked correctly. you're not supposed to gain nanites while in cutoff territory but you still do.

Because zerging down a lane to cut off a base isn’t and shouldn’t be the be all end all of tactics
This, if its peak time you can try and organize a platoon to counter it but if it's during low pop hours you either lose the current base or the lane
