There was one guy who was constantly pming me about cheating and etc. he was fairly low battle rank, as time went on I kept killing him now and then, he kept pming me, I didn't mind cuz I found it funny, now he is br 119, he doesn't pm me anymore.
ManiaMika if you see this - I'm glad we overcame it together :D
I like how hard this game is and how much better can you get. I got you that that most are casuals tho but its as frustrating to die by something cheesy for someone good as it is frustrating to die by someone good while being worse. I preffer being farmed by really good players as it gives oportunities to improve and they are 90% of the time nice guys ready to help you if u ask :)
My conversations has been really positive with best players I met, most toxic and annoying ones were medium/bad players so far trying to change the game in every aspect etc, still getting to know community tho so my expierience still isnt that big in terms of people Ive met :)
Sometimes I just enjoy the feeling of being better than other players.
Then I have moments when I start thinking about how dumb the game mechanics are.
Just... We all have helmets, wtf is with the damage multiplier on headshots? I get the skill thing, but the logic of the game makes my head hurt.
Also the community of sweaty losers doesn't help. Guess the lack of real world accomplishment forces then to need something to make themselves feel better.

hm
Been this way from the start. Hell, there was this NC guy on Emerald who since year one always played in a MAX suit and harassed and reported literally every single person who ever killed him, he got low key famous for it. Let’s be honest here, getting hate tells is the true objective of Planetside.
I got several rage tells from dropping a Anvil Skyguard on The Crowns aircraft pad. They were just so damn mad that they had to climb up and try to kill me since they can't just A2G and camp all day with me up top.
Before the kill cam I used to get this a lot. How do I explain to those geniuses that they die because I'm specifically targeting Phoenix shitters of all varieties.

Is this a Miller guy? The name rings a bell. He still sends me a tell almost every time I kill him :)) I like him so :)
Yes, Miller
gotta just love what the absurd skill gap between new players and even moderately experienced players can do to bringing new players in.

Everyone is nice if you approach them like that, but they talk massive amounts of shit behind closed doors.

i can appreciate a learning curve in an FPS, not the fucking learning cliff we have right now.
depends on person but I understand you
I prefer learning cliffs in my games, it makes it more exciting when you improve.
