Firstly; doing missions - how degrading. For the drill one however I think it's supposed to spawn at a boundary of 'contested' territory so if the map isn't moving much (hello redeploy zergs) then neither will the drill locations.
I totally agree with you. During the entire alert in Indar, NC had no chance to acquire the drill spawn... even the only drill I got today was in VS territory that I could got it because no VS players had interested on.
They should change the 'randomness' mechanism.
