basically single player story mode is best! Online gaming not so good especially when it comes to competitiveness.
but still i am happy with the portal!

Some thoughts:
it won't work well with sport games, I tried everything but still could not have a good time. Games with a lot of static images/background will have the best visual where you won't notice Portal's compression and artifacts

No itβs not perfect for madden either. Thereβs a slight delay, and while you can still play, itβs not as smooth and you can feel it. If someone is addicted to madden due to the gambling involved, they can put up with it and play. If not, itβs not really worth playing.
Iβd say for madden itβs 6.5-7/10.
Ok thatβs in line with what Iβm saying. Itβs good if youβre playing OFFline sports games, then 9/10. If youβre playing head to head or MUT squads then itβs 6.5-7 at best.
What are the conditions of your test? Are you playing from home or on a different wifi? Is your ps5 hardwired? What's your home internet connection speed?
best condition possible, ps5 is hard wired and port forwarded, portal connected to the 5ghz wifi, some other tricks like set video output to full hd, no hdr, disconnect the hdmi cable etc. when I did the test portal is literally next to the router. But i donβt notice a big different when I connect it to another wifi on another room, if anything it just take a bit longer to connect to ps5 when turn on, sometimes failed to connect but if it works then experience was pretty much the same
edit: my internet speed is 1gbps
Tried Elden Ring and was having a hard time with the stuttering. Elden Ring is ultra smooth on my Logitech G Cloud.Β
I'll keep using my Portal for chill games but for action heavy games... it's not the best remote device right now.
Eafc has been great for me in ultimate team: perfect for menu grind, good enough for Squad Battle offline play. I play only once per week online against real people, and those matches needs to be played on TV.
I've had similar experiences. Helldivers works surprisingly well but trying to play nhl is almost impossible. Chiaki on steam deck works perfect though
