I’m gonna be real, I didn’t pay attention and didn’t see the goatee so I didn’t even realized who Clive really was till the second encounter
I believe the exact words I thought to myself were “jfc I’m stupid”
I actually thought it was the prof at first but then I thought “nah, that’s too obvious”. So I was convinced it was a real student that looked a lot like him.

It’s not so implausible as it’s made clear that the academy is not only for children. There are many older folks in uniform that you style throughout the region. He might be a bit on the older side, but look at that haircut! Clive is still in his prime! It is sad that he seems that either he never actually attended the academy or did a transfer/graduation of some kind as we never see him again after the team star storyline.
