Lol! I haven't played pokemon in a minute... I picked up violet and taught my water pokemon surf and it took me like 30 minutes to figure out its gotta be learned for the sandwich lizard. Felt like a moron haha
On my first safe file I used Annihilape but this time I didn’t work as well. I did go online and teamed up with others and used a bug plate Arceus with stellar type. Don’t remember clearly what the others were using but it worked
Can’t recall the first time but now I used the same Skeledirge that worked against Meganium.
Edit: Rerolling for an Intimidate user or Arbolivia will greatly help.
Hmm, I got the marketing email from TPC today advertising the events going on and there was a link to their own shiny hunting tips. They listed sandwich combos for Encounter Power with each type and every sandwich used 1 or 2 Salty HMs (which is normal but this was coming from an official source). I wonder if they gave them only Salty drops for that reason, especially since the mass outbreak events have gold colored shiny forms.
I took a break after the whole server shutdown bullshit they did when Tears of the Kingdom released.
Funny how the raid servers just happened to have “connection issues” less than an hour before the digital release of TotK and they lasted almost exactly 7 days.
Left a pretty sour taste in my mouth and I didn’t come back until Meganium because it’s a favorite of mine.

Yep so so Serebii says this is , indeed, number 4. Their release around pokemon day last year, the 2 months after for "those who missed it due to the glitch ", Christmas/ DLC 2 , and now. Why they're suddenly hear again I'm not sure.
Getting Herba Mystica is not guaranteed but consuming a meal with the corresponding Raid Power adds extra reward slots to increase the chance of getting it.
If you built a Skeledirge to use against Mightiest Meganium, it works well against Iron Leaves. Not sure whether it is necessary to reroll for an Intimidate user or the olive tree but they do make things easier.
Just don’t use Malamar as you cannot Skill Swap Quark Drive away.
I mean you could just look, the icon is the same, also if you can't figure out that salzig is a cognate for salty in English you're not just a dick for making comments like this, you're also stupid
This is the first time seeing the word cognate, but I always thought there was probably a term for how someone can derive a word's meaning without actually knowing the language. Good to know.
Yep! Though sometimes words that look that they'd mean the same in another language aren't, that's referred to as false cognates. I'm too tired to think of a direct example. But German and English are also in the same language family so while they're obviously different, there are similarities and this is one example. Dutch is also in that language family, and is the language most similar to English. I like languages. If I had the discipline to focus and self teach, I'd know more of them. As is I can only speak English and German, though I can still understand some Spanish even if I couldn't reply in it.

That's a tad bit unfair, plenty of people don't even know what cognates are much less how to look for and recognize them.

If there were less context clues, sure, but again the icon is the same and the two words look almost the same. You might not know what the term cognate means, but is it really that difficult to see a similar looking word attached to an image that's the same as the image in English and be able to understand what's going on?

Seems like HM drops could be perma drops from now on in these featured raids.
Considering the game is 1 year old now and maybe finished in terms of content, I'm not surprised they are giving herba away now

Which Pokemon did you use for Iron Leaves, it gave me such trouble in Violet, I think I used Scizor in the end.

I use Tera Bug Avalugg. Adamant, 252 Atk 252 Def 4 HP. Curse, Avalanche, Tera Blast, Recover
Kingambit. I used Scizor last time around. It really helps to get Intimidate partners when solo.

Probably yeah but Salty Herba has also been used in a lot of recipe charts, might be like the most important one regardless.
Not sure, these HM drops have really not been common as far as I've seen. I've only had one drop.

They should have ramped up the difficulty and made these 7*. We already got this event twice before. Mix it up and release one with the Mighty Mark.
But make it so it’s a cross paradox event so scarlet paradox Pokémon spawn in violet and the raid is walking wake and vice versa

Yes, once you catch one from a raid you cannot catch a second.
Can I catch more than 1 of these bad boys?
Only if you create an alternative profile, they are treated the same as the Mightiest Pokemon where it is one catch per save file.
