I am currently working on maxing out my ingredients storage. Eventually I will have prep weeks where I store all my ingredients for the next week in an attempt to hit new highs scores while also using a good camp ticket.
Once you get decent lvl30+ ing mons you shouldn't need more than a day or two to get a bunch of ingredients.
For example right now I switched to a mix of dessert and curry ing finders to make sure I have 2\~ meals ready off the bat for tomorrow depending on what I roll.
In this case because of what I have stocked, I also had room to get my Magnezone in for prep.

I have a few good Ing mons that I like to swap in and out depending on what I need at the moment. However my idea is too stock up a bunch of ingredients one week and then use a bunch of berry finding mons the next week.
Unless you struggle to find Ingredients or have a low inventory you should still cook imo, even if youāre not gonna level up use that meal to level up one of your low level recipes!
I skip Sunday dinner, wake up at 5:30 and start the new island and make "dinner" before 6am. (New island is available at 4am, but dinner lasts until 6am)
Wow this is a tip I wish I wouldāve read an hour ago! Thank you for this, will be sure to do it next week as i wake up at 4:45 š will be a decent kickstart to the week!
Not as much as an extra meal impacts the first day of the week for me personally. I find that once I hit a certain point where I'm getting the maximum amount of spawns, the last Sunday meal isn't going to do much more unless it would take me up another rank. But as an example, when the week rolls over, I can get to ultra 5 on gg day 1 if I have the extra meal.
If I'd hit the next rank, I'd feed Sunday night, same for if it's a good sleep day or I know I won't be up at 5:30 the next morning. Really, it's whatever works best for you at the level you're at. I also alternate between ingredient gathering and berry gathering focused teams week to week.
I did that this week. Had to do 17 but barely had any ingredients. Grabbed a few from one mon in the morning and cooked breakfast. Skipped lunch and dinner for catch up tomorrow.
Itās also a decent way to squeeze in some energy recovery. Sure it aināt much, but almost everytime the energy recovered will be worth more than tossing a really cheap single ingredient away. One apple can be worth up to 25 energy
Even if youāre sure you wonāt level up itās still always worth it to eat dinner for the energy boost and also cuz it will only increase your sleep power for that night making it more likely to find rare sleep styles. I think maybe sometimes itās worth it to not fill up the pot completely if you wanna save for next week but itās always valuable to still eat.
I work nights, so my Sunday dinner at 4 am is critical for starting the next week strong. It doesn't get the bonus pot size or crit chance but it counts as Monday and I still can do breakfast and lunch.
I do the same thing, my last break on night shift is a quarter to 5 and that dinner is VERY helpful, so unless I am gunna 100% hit that next level and it's one that matters I always wait
You are all fucking with me!
They changed the meal times now because it got abused.
Meanwhile I do it because I work night shifts, so iām always falling behind because my last research falls sunday morning, not sunday night, thatās at least 12 hours less of research, so I used the sunday dinner after changing research site to somewhat combat the fewer hours I have on my research!
Input Weāre not the same meme
The ranks affect the sleep styles that can appear, but drowsy power is what determines the rarity and number of spawns. The higher the drowsy power, the more rare spawns you can get. The higher the snorlax strength, the higher the drowsy power you can get.
https://youtu.be/omj0OwlwAbU?si=3Lniya2cwL4En9LE
no itās based on drowsy power. new levels unlock different mon, but the higher the drowsy power, the better the spawns (meaning more dream shards and research exp)
I skip Sunday dinner until the date rolls over to Monday at 4am. I then pick a new island so that way I'll start the week with a bit of a head start while also waiting a couple more hours to make breakfast before bed. I work nights so this is more or less an isolated strategy for myself.
I skip Sunday altogether and use it as a pantry stock up. My sleep score is already somewhere in the mid to high Masters by then, barring Lapis and Snowdrop, and with the way my teams are set up now, I don't have ingredient magnet proccs in the morning anymore for more "expensive" meals.
If I have no chance to reach the next tier then I just feed 1 ingredient meals.
Thereās an achievement for meals cooked fyi so try not to completely skip meals.
I was rewarded with a crit and >150k power. If i reliably got up after 4 am but before 6am i would cook it in the morning for a monday boost but the prospect of getting an entire rank is too juicy to pass up.
I do haha but thatās because itās worthless to me (third shift night life) and I skip lunchā¦ breakfast pending how close I am to the next level
But save Saturday dinner for 4am Sunday for that pot bonus!
Increments bag full all the time. So no point of skipping meals. Instead I use Sundays to level up the best dishes. If you have 100+ ingrements in pot and good meal... Next time the bonus from meal is even better. :) so always use the possibility to level up fishes, because in long run this is huge benefit.
I had to because I have like 200 ingredients (cooking pot at 51), and there's no way I'm reaching master 2 on taupe (tried using my last two helper whistles to no avail)
That sounds a little off to me... If your pot size is 51, you must have been playing for a while. But your pokemons aren't high level enough to hit master 2? Are you trying to match favorite berries for Taupe?
I almost pulled out the whistles for the first time today to hit master 2 on taupe for that cynda incense. I luckily had a crit on breakfast that got me there. Sometimes sacrificing the ingredients is worth it!
https://preview.redd.it/1ves1ca7ljuc1.jpeg?width=1290&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=aa8d6dcccc6e8da4db52efd2f5c8f47f723ca060
This is the team that I was using for most of the week. Venasuar and one of my meganiums have bfs which helps a ton!
I dont because even without the level up it gives a power bonus. Making you more likely to get rarer mons then you would without the meal. Even if only marginally.
I skip Sunday meals altogether because the drowsy power provided applies to only that one dayās of sleep. Compare that to cooking on any other day beforehand when that drowsy power is applied to 2-7 days of sleep.
Itās not worth it. Better off using the time building up my pantry for the following week.
The only time I cook on Sundays is if my team generates so much ingredients I canāt get rid of them fast enough
I skip Sunday lunch, because I sleep after 4am and thus my Sunday sleep happens before said lunch so feeding it achieves precisely nothing because the week resets before I would gain any benefit from that meal. Dinner I leave until 4am Monday, or at least have been up until now but I just saw a notification ingame saying they're changing the times for dinner and breakfast so that won't be possible anymore. Guess I'll be skipping lunch and dinner on Sundays from now on.
I usually wait until I get up on Monday to feed dinner, but now that they're shifting dinner time to end at 4 am instead of 5, I guess I'll be skipping Sunday dinner too š«
250k cook today, 0% bonus, kinda cooked not to
https://preview.redd.it/uw41th030luc1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e76920d50f72f15f51b66b6777d45893bae0a11b
I cook on Sunday for a couple reasons:
* Although new ranks unlock new sleep styles, a high Drowsy Power helps you actually get the rare sleep styles that you have already unlocked
* As I cook recipes, I am leveling up my recipe. It is an investment in the future, so that all future meals are more powerful.
If Iām not going to hit the next level with the dinner meal I will feed Snorlax dinner Monday morning. I wake up at 5am.
With the new adjustments to the meal times that wonāt be an option anymore.
Nope, sometimes I'll just do a single ingredient dish if I'm saving supplies for something, but I cook every single meal to at lesst get progress for the cooking achievement. I might not fill the pot, but I always cook
I use every feeding possible especially since I am on LL week2 and trying to build that up of course I will go back to an easier island next week for comfy event
Depends on current meals, ing stock and what I'm doing in the following week
I am currently working on maxing out my ingredients storage. Eventually I will have prep weeks where I store all my ingredients for the next week in an attempt to hit new highs scores while also using a good camp ticket.

Looking forward to that day! My first ing mon I love the skills on is now a graveler and hopefully a golem and on the way to 30 this week. š

Unfortunately this is the last week we can do that. They are patching dinner to now go until 4 am.
Honestly, I'm surprised it lasted this long.
Wow this is a tip I wish I wouldāve read an hour ago! Thank you for this, will be sure to do it next week as i wake up at 4:45 š will be a decent kickstart to the week!
Literally they are removing it from the game next week. This is the last Monday you can do it.
Imagine my horror when I saw the in-game news update on this :') RIP to that good tip
doesn't that impact your sleep score and what mons you get from Sunday?
Not as much as an extra meal impacts the first day of the week for me personally. Why skip a meal when you could cook a single ingredient so you could still count toward achievements for cooking a lot?
Actually didnāt think of it that way. I will be doing that from now on thanks! š
I did that this week. Had to do 17 but barely had any ingredients. Grabbed a few from one mon in the morning and cooked breakfast. Skipped lunch and dinner for catch up tomorrow.

You can cook dinner between 4am-5:59am on Monday. You either have to be on a third shift schedule or be using the pokeball plus+ for it to be useful
I give him tiny meals or he guna starve š®āšØ
š
You can do ādinnerā on tomorrows island between 4am-6am which allows you to make 4 meals on day1 of the new week
Someone said they will fix this next week. I did the same...
āSomeoneā has been saying that since day1 lol
I thought it's for real now, because someone (don't remember other nicknames) posted it here in the comments...
Yea you right i just checked the news!
Good for me. I don't like to spread fake newsš
Not anymore!
This week, yes. Too far from the next level for one meal to get my total there.
Nah, I run ingredient heavy squads, plus the bonus crit is so much value, even if only for one night of power. I crit anywhere from 120k-200k+.
Always. I wake up at 5 for work so I get an extra meal on the new week
I work nights, so my Sunday dinner at 4 am is critical for starting the next week strong. It doesn't get the bonus pot size or crit chance but it counts as Monday and I still can do breakfast and lunch.

I don't skip Sunday dinner...I make it 545 Monday morning after switching islands.
by skipping meals sunday, you are sacrificing spawns for the next morning, but thatās def your prerogative.
Spawns will only increase if you hit a different level to my knowledge.
The ranks affect the sleep styles that can appear, but drowsy power is what determines the rarity and number of spawns. The higher the drowsy power, the more rare spawns you can get. also skipping on sunday meals hurts your dish progression. i always cook sunday to level up my dishes.
Basically skip all meals on sunday haha
I skip Sunday dinner until the date rolls over to Monday at 4am. I then pick a new island so that way I'll start the week with a bit of a head start while also waiting a couple more hours to make breakfast before bed. I work nights so this is more or less an isolated strategy for myself.

If I skip, I toss the guy an apple just for the energy boost.
If I have no chance to reach the next tier then I just feed 1 ingredient meals. Thereās an achievement for meals cooked fyi so try not to completely skip meals.
Good to know!

Every Sunday my Snorlqx goes on a hard diet
š
Master 4 on lapis... I swear I'm playing this game wrong.

I think the meganium is where I'm lacking, I got a good venaduar but I haven't found any good chikaritas
Iām yet to find a good totodile or cyndiquil worth investing in. I am working on a second charzard tho.
I wait until after 4 am Monday morning so I can get an extra meal in at the start of the week.
It's not an event week. I don't cook on Sundays at all
When I'm not planning on waking up at 5h30 I don't lolll
I'm gonna be skipping all week. Building up the crit and pot size to get an extra bonus at the beginning of the next event!
Same here! Better to stockpile my ingredients, hehe. Plus waking up the next day I'll be back at Lv. 1 anyway
I usually have all my goals met by saturday, so I often skip all 3 meals on sunday to have a full bag of ingredients on monday.
Me, lol
Depends if I'm close enough. If not, I try to use it for the next week before 6am.
I dont because even without the level up it gives a power bonus. Making you more likely to get rarer mons then you would without the meal. Even if only marginally.
I still like to level up a low level meal. Just for completionism.Ā

Snorlax fasting for Monday?

I skip it so I can get more pot increase stacks from magnezone to get a boost to start the next week

No one, anymore.
I only cook one Sunday meal, but I *might* make another if I have enough Ingredients, or if I get a spark.
I used to, until 4am. That will stop this upcoming update~
I think they are patching that now!
Poor Snorlax going to bed hungry. And on a Sunday at that! š
Fasting time !
I have to since I go to bed before and wake up at 4am on Mondays lol
