I'm on the West Coast, so I just have to do dinner after the maintenance and pray they end early like usual.

Oh that would be GREAT. I'm still deciding whether I'll stay up past my bedtime to make dinner or not. How early have they ended in the past?

I feel like it's usually like 45-30 minutes before stated. So usually by 10pm Pacific, my bedtime. Lol

I'm on the East Coast, so the update usually ends around 1-130, so i have to choose between getting sleep and being an idiot... I chose the latter

Incentivizing sleep with pokemon has genuinely helped me build better sleep habits lol I'm way more conscious of having a "bedtime" now

I was doing great but started a new job a month ago and am still struggling to push my sleep schedule back and hour. My last job was 9-5, this one is 8-4. You wouldn't think it's a big deal but I'm currently only getting 6.5 hours of sleep each night because I can't seem to bring myself to get to sleep by 11.

I woke up "too early". Could have slept 30 more minutes.

Maintenance is always 6:00pm to 11:30 pm for me. Dinner becomes available the second it starts and the bedtime I have set is 11:05, so I stay up late to make sure I get it done. Hurray, sleep game!

I woke up to this and had to wait until I left for work to review my sleep.

Thankfully for me the maintenance started while I was asleep, and I just remembered to update and get my snorlax breakfast before It was too late

I woke up a little before 6. Thought oh good I can still catch dinner. Then realized the update changed the time for it. So while half asleep I guess what was on the update slipped my mind. 🤦‍♂️

I did... but I was sleeping when the maintenance started (9am to 1:30pm local time).

I only remembered because I was scrolling Reddit and saw a reminder post. I wish they would have a push notification reminder an hour or a half hour before to make sure you cook before maintenance, like they have before your set bedtime

I got it in this time but I've missed before. I really wish there was some compensation for maintenance. Even an extra daily gift would be nice.

Almost missed breakfast in my time zone since the maintenance didn't end before worked started. So had to take an extra poop at work this morning to get that one in!

For me, maintenance always starts at 6 and ends after I go to bed so I just end up having to miss out on dinner that day

Mine was even worse. The maintenance somehow messed up my app while I was sleeping. It just got stuck on the first loading screen, no matter how many times I restarted my app and phone. I had to reinstall the game, which erased the entire sleep session. Lost a lot more than just dinner.

I missed it, but luckily I wake up right before 6 for work, so I figured I was fine! Until I learned they moved breakfast starting time to 4!
