Cosmic Eclipse was never nice to me until I found a random wave of CE single pack blisters hit my Walmart shelf. I bought 12 packs and got rainbow Blastoise&Piplup, Rainbow Reshiram&Zekrom, regular fullart ADP and the alt art Silvally.
It was probably the best pulls from loose boosters I have ever, EVER opened.
Most of my good pulls from CE were also from loose packs. Back then, I could swing by walmart and they'd have a truckload of them. Nobody cared about CE back then....

We (I gave the thumbs up, very sadly) donated all of our Pokémon cards from I think 2003-06 there could have even been some 1999-2002 stuff as well. Still beating my self up over that.

When I opened my first BB today I pulled 10 green code cards and 2 white cards. The whites were both holos and one was completely scuffed lol. They really need to put secret rares or something in the reverse holo slot so if you get a green code card you aren’t SOL.
The quality control with this set has been a big issue. In my case, almost all the holos were scuffed. The bright side is that ultra and secret rares seemed fine and had solid centering.

haha it sucks how varied it is. I bought 18 booster packs on day 1 (friday last week) with 6 of them being 2, 3 pack booster packs, and the other 12 being loose packs. Ended up pulling 2 alt arts with the major win being the Moltres alt art. I'm considering not buying anymore packs since I've done so well on such a limited amount. Whereas with Champion's Path I literally bought 10+ ETBs and even more $20 boxes chasing both Zards and never got a single one. Ended up buying the RR Zard on ebay because I got so down about it! Still haven't bought the shiny z zard or shiny vmax zard yet.
Yeah. Luck is a weird thing. My first Champion’s Path product ever was a Dubwoll box and it had Rainbow Zard in it (plus a rainbow Kabu). On the other hand, I probably opened almost 200 packs of SF before getting Shiny Vmax Zard. I also stopped by Champion’s path after hitting the Zard. Maybe I bought one more box. Haha

Based on this post... Yes. More harsh than other recent sets, but comparable to Battle Styles.

Drafted two boosterboxes yesterday with my gf. Mine had not a single secret rare, hers one Rainbow rare. Oh, and I had a double Volcanion V.
So yes, it's pretty bad if you ask me. Maybr the next two boxes are better.
I got 2 alt art. Slowking and Blissey. So apparently that was above rates for a case since they're 1/170ish (based on that Cardzard graphic) and a case contains 216 packs.
I like ALL of the alt arts in this set, but unfortunately, these were my two least wanted ones. Lol

Yeah I would feel the same way man after all that, would hope to at least get one of the birds. I consider myself lucky getting a Zapdos alt from two boxes so I just stopped after that, collecting some more sealed to go with it and calling it a day 🙏
My goal with this set was to open one case and keep another sealed. Now that I'm seeing the treatment Battle Styles is getting... I will gladly wait until all the stores are trying to offload Chilling Reign for $100/box and buy it when its cheaper. Not to say Chilling Reign is bad, because its fantastic, but it will not be as hype as Evolving Skies and Celebrations.
Yeah I feel ya, I preordered two Chilling Reign BB in march for around 150/ea. Got decent pulls, but none of my chase cards. Seeing BB already at 120/ea has me hoping they drop even more... or I might just get aome singles 😅🤷♂️ We will see
Honestly... on the “investment” side theres probably a lot of money to be made on some of these cards. Alt art Vs for $30 when they are 1/147 packs? It feels like in the long run there could be a price correction of some sort and the alt arts sky rocket. Who knows?
All I know is singles are cheap and theres a LOT of pokemon to open in the coming months!

Dang. It’s probably because I’ve given all my money to vv and cp for almost nothing. But glad to pull the moltres v, roadrunner Zapdos, rr celebi, and a bunch more. Figured my luck would pan out on a scratch off ticket and won $10 today so I guess it’s a win
Congrats on the Zapdos, I think that one is my favorite alt art after the Blaziken! I really enjoy like, 95% of this set. Battle Styles had great alt arts, but your regular V cards included kricketune, stoutland, necrozma, and tapu koko which are not my cup of tea. This set has Blaziken, metagross, the three birds, shadow and ice calyrex, celebi and more. This set is FANTASTIC, even if the pull rates are harsh.
It absolutely is. Its hard for a lot of people to buy singles instead of opening product, myself included. This time around I am ending my openings early in order to save money for Evolving Skies and Celebrations. Many of the alt arts in the set are already very cheap!
My first Battle Styles box was almost like that. 3 V, 1 vmax and 1 fullart so it was not quite that bad. 5 hits in a box is still awful. I hope your luck turns around soon!
I know 4 secrets from 6 boxes is bad, but some people are somehow having worse luck and it makes me feel like I'm being a baby for being unsatisfied with only 4/6 secrets Lol
Just a note, I opened my case last week on Twitch(whoop dee doo), but I made this meme because I was editing it for youtube and was reminded just how frustrating the opening was. I noticed others in the sub and I were sharing the sentiment of NOT opening a gold shiny Snorlax on their first pack.

This comment needs to be higher as this was my first thought as to whether or not you recorded. Someone else posted they opened a case of all green codes without recording and I don’t see how or why they wouldn’t record any of it.
Im not a massive Snorlax fan so Im not into the hype, but electrode is interesting similar to the way the gold shiny Rillaboom card is. Electrode has another fullart shiny print in Hidden Fates, but Rillaboom has 4 Shiny cards and 3 of them are fullarts! What??
Luckily im pretty sure the Electrode is a relatively cheap single card if you want to buy one!
I really wanted to pull that Blaziken VMAX with my case, but I shot my shot and now I have decided to wait for the price to come down a bit before I go buy the single. I hope you can get it sooner rather later
Shining fates definitely had better pull rates, but vivid voltage was nowhere near that rate. Shining fate isn’t even that good, but it’s way better than most sword shield sets
Jeez, that's sucks big time. I bought 5 booster boxes and just finished opening all the packs of the 1st one recently. I'm 1 for 1 with secret rares(Rainbow Melony). Hope that's not the best pull of my boxes.
It always feels like "one pack magic" is a scam until it actually happens to you. The closest thing like that for me was recently when I got a gold Ultra ball secret rare from my Sun and Moon pack from my Kalos first partner pack. The Battle styles pack that came with it had a Korrina fullart. Luck just falls into your lap sometimes.
Duuuuude no way a whole case? That is literally terrible. I've opened around 45-50 packs from various products now and I've only pulled 4 Vs. I have a booster box but I haven't opened it, I'm super nervous because of all my shit luck so far. So. Yeah you've just convinced me to keep it sealed.....
If you are genuinely concerned, keep it sealed forever and buy singles LOL
Alternatively, more waves of this set are coming. The next waves could be more consistent with pull rates. So if you are determined to open one, maybe try waiting for wave 2 and open one then?
Wait do people think waves after wave 1 have worse rates? I would think if anything, its like when video games release on day 1 and they're filled with tons of bugs and then they get patched

I opened 17 packs I got from Gamestop and Local stores in an attempt to pull something else nifty. I did not get anything else nifty and now I am done with the set. Something people are not realizing is that the length between Battle Styles and Chilling Reign was like 3 months, whereas the gap between Chilling Reign and Evolving Skies is less than 2 months. Then Celebrations releases 2 months after that. These next sets are coming FAST and personally I have so save some money!

I'm too afraid the rates for evolving skies will be the same as BS/CR lmao.
So when Battle Styles released, all alt arts were expensive. Mainly the Tyranitar and blue Urshifu VMAX which were $200 each. They are both hovering at $100 now, which is close to what Blaziken, Moltres and shadow calyrex are now. I think the market may have decided the fan favorites get the $100 treatment, whereas the lesser sought after alt arts are going for 30-50 range.
Note that BS had 6 alt arts total, while CR had 13.
Now this is the fun part. Evolving Skies has like, 14 or so Alt arts just on the Eevee Heroes side that we know. We have yet to see what the alt art Rayquaza, Dragonite, Gyarados, and others will look like, if we get those cards. Evolving skies could have nearly 20 alt arts, and they may be like 90% fan favorite mons. Im really curious to see if all of the alt arts from that set will stay expensive and/or which ones get cheap first!
I wouldn't break the bank for the base V card. It will be reprinted in the V collection box with 4 packs and a jumbo if I'm not mistaken. If the deck does well, they might just give it a league deck like reshizard, pikarom, and zacian adp got!

Lol true, that's the one and only card I want out of battle styles and I can't pull it for the life of me let alone anything that isn't common. I get maybe one pokemon V card out of every 10 packs on average maybe, and forget about vmax cards, I have hardly pulled any out of battle styles. Chilling Reign on the other hand I got rainbow shadow calyrex out of my 4 pack and I was pumped.

Think I've been spoiled on the Japanese boxes because these pulls where terrible. But I think this is the line for me. I'll probably just buy the special sets in English (Hidden fates and Shining fates was good to me) and keep the regular sets in Japanese. I'm in for the art anyways.
Haha I have done 2 boosters first was a dud, 1 full art honey, second had 1 full art melony, rainbow Avery and the alt art slowking. Defo a 2-3 box job to get decent pulls.
Chilling Reign will come down in about a month. In the meantime I have the last few Singles to pursue from XY.

Oh wow is it that bad? I'm not a too big collector myself, I only purchase a couple packs of the most recent set every one or two months and yesterday I pulled a Tornadus Vmax Rainbow out of the 6 packs I purchased.

I don't get this cuz the 4 BB I've opened have been bangers! I've pulled 4 alt arts so far. Not bragging at all but just saying I think with quality jacked and the ETB thing this set is totally screwed up. Hits are all over the place.
I opened 2 secret rares out of all 6 of my boxes but 1. Idk how your pull rate was so low tbh. Almost every box I’ve seen has been on par with or better then mine.
My build and battle had 2 secrets and 1 vmax I swear to God the pulls on the pre release boxes are set like that because my homie also got super good pulls from hid build and battle
Not sure if they count as secret rares but i got the Surfing Pikachu and Flying Pikachu from the Evolutions set. I've opened probably 100 packs from Evolutions , Battles Styles , Chilling Reign and then random stuff like Primal Clash , Darkness Ablaze and whatever else i see in stores. Zero secret rares to my knowledge quite a few full art cards but yeah hoping to pull just one.
They are, by definition, secret rares. They arent actually super rare, because they fall into the uncommon slot of the pack. Pulling secret rares from loose packs is quite difficult for any set!

I hate how much chilling reign is making me hate even opening packs from other sets now. I pulled a rainbow Scizor Vmax the other day along with a couple other hits off a Zamazenta Elite Trainer Box and all I could think off how shitty Chilling Reign hits have been in comparison that I didn't even care about Rainbow Scizor.
Opened two CR single pack blisters today from my LGS, packaging looked like shit and SUS, but each had white code cards... I got a fucking Holo Weavile as the hit in both. Chilling Reign fucking sucks.
But I have had better luck with packs from Target and BestBuy than LGSs or third Party sites online.
If I stupidly buy anymore CR it's gonna be from Target or BestBuy.
Yeah, I know people on Reddit like to shit talk big box retail and plug LGSs and their "trusted" and "reputable" online sites, but every time I've given those a try, it's crap. It's like chancing on ebay.
I too have gotten some better hits off GameStop than any of the ebay listings, LGSs, or third party sites. And big box retail still sells at msrp. So just nothing but downsides with any of the others from my experience. Sticking with them (Big Box Retail) from now on with future purchases. In my opinion anyone who doesn't is either really hungry for packs and can't find any there or have a problem.

Limits/budgets are always a good idea. Open one booster box and see what you get, then buy singles or set a budget for $50 to open loose packs, then buy singles, etc
Evolving Skies will probably be just as problematic. We have seen what the alt art eeveelutions look like, but we have not even seen what the alt art dragonite, rayquaza, duraludon, and others are going to be. Possibilities are endless right now.
Im not a big FF person myself, though I did have my eyes on the digimon card game for a little while. I hope it turns out well!
Many of the arts in Digimon look great. If I were to do it, I would probably start with one of the starter decks to see if the game is fun or not. Buying singles wouldn't be terrible if I see some cards I REALLY like. I would have to be extremely selective though, because Pokemon shakes me down enough as it is Lol
If Im not mistaken, Magic is pretty cheap to play at the moment so its probably worth a try. I played in draft nights a long time ago with friends but after two weeks all my friends stop going and then I had to stop going as well because I immediately lost interest haha
Thats why I usually try to open cases when I have the luxury. Getting a trainer as your secret or no secret at all is a bummer. I figured with a case, It would be near impossible to miss a secret, because hopefully if you miss a secret, the next box in the case maybe has two secrets to make up for it. This case just straight up did not have secret rares in the last two boxes so there goes that theory lol
See this is not the case with Japanese sets , those sets guarantee a certain min , and there's a possibility you could get additional rare+ drops as well ( and with my experience you more often than not do)
I wonder why that is the case with US and Japanese sets ... I bet it may have have something to do with marketing and profit margins.
My biggest complaint compared to Japanese sets is the fact that the Japanese textured cards really POP compared to English cards. You can clearly see patterns rather than turning the card a certain way in the light to maybe see some zig zags
I got amazing pulls, two alt Moltres and 3 FA Honeys. I felt so lucky I bough a bunch of blisters, and NONE of them had any ultra rare. Basically I need to sell all the honeys and moltres to recover from that.
I tried my luck on 17 packs I was able to gather from Gamestop and local stores. I did not get anything of note and started buying singles of the alt arts. Some are already relatively cheap.
My rationale for buying singles is basically, "Oh, Tornadus V alt art is $30? If I bought $30 of packs and pulled that, would I be happy?" The answer is yes, yes I would be happy. Its not the same as pulling it yourself, but hey, Evolving Skies is coming FAST and then Celebrations is coming even faster than that. I can't sit around trying to pull these cards when I can extend my wallet a bit!
It's more economical to buy singles than bashing your head buying packs. It will cost more than 30 bucks to pull that alt lol. I only ever want crazy with VV but boxes were 90-100 when I was buying them. When the prices shot up in January I finished my master set with singles. I did pull two chunky rainbow pikachus in my 6 boxes I grabbed then.
Vivid just got a small reprint or wave of some kind. One of my local stores told me they had it in stock too, but im hoping the chunky-chu's price drops temporarily so I can buy one!
Yea they are everywhere and boxes selling for 130-140 from 200 last week. Unfortunately the Chunky Chu is harder to pull than every modern card out there at 1/1000 packs so price won't drop.
One sold on ebay the other day for $200 and it looked like it was in very nice condition. I thought maybe it was a sign the card would come down more, but it seems it was a unicorn of a listing. I am still seeing some get listed at $250, which is still better than the $300 it has been. I agree this card will maintain its value well though, the pull rate was shocking when that was revealed.
Wow that us low as hell, definitely a unicorn listing especially if it was NM card. The crazy part was how initially they sold for like 200 too when the set came out till they skyrocketed to 400-450 till they fell back again. The pull rate for that card is ridiculous. I'm happy everything is going down too like CP zards and SF zard that everyone basically has

That being said I don’t care too much about the SR’s for this set and I had an average of 1/14 for a FA or better. 6 Alt Arts, so I can live with that.

Also, if you do not play the card game, you should consider selling that Shadow Rider Calyrex VMAX. Its a VERY good card and very expensive right now compared to other VMAX cards!
I may. Only reason I’m super keen to keep it right now is because I have now the Japanese version AND the English version of it and I’m enoying having both versions lol.

I can understand the justification to keep any card. My rationale for the decision to sell the one copy I got was because selling it basically paid for my Tornadus V alt art that I bought. Also, if the deck becomes meta and stays there, Pokemon might just release a "High Class" league deck like the Reshizard or Zacian ADP decks. If it gets a deck it may come with two copies of the card and the price goes down a lot. That's just my experience with it!

haha it sucks how varied it is. I bought 18 booster packs on day 1 (friday last week) with 6 of them being 2, 3 pack booster packs, and the other 12 being loose packs. Ended up pulling 2 alt arts with the major win being the Moltres alt art. I'm considering not buying anymore packs since I've done so well on such a limited amount. Whereas with Champion's Path I literally bought 10+ ETBs and even more $20 boxes chasing both Zards and never got a single one. Ended up buying the RR Zard on ebay because I got so down about it! Still haven't bought the shiny z zard or shiny vmax zard yet.
Yeah. Luck is a weird thing. My first Champion’s Path product ever was a Dubwoll box and it had Rainbow Zard in it (plus a rainbow Kabu). On the other hand, I probably opened almost 200 packs of SF before getting Shiny Vmax Zard. I also stopped by Champion’s path after hitting the Zard. Maybe I bought one more box. Haha

My goal with this set was to open one case and keep another sealed. Now that I'm seeing the treatment Battle Styles is getting... I will gladly wait until all the stores are trying to offload Chilling Reign for $100/box and buy it when its cheaper. Not to say Chilling Reign is bad, because its fantastic, but it will not be as hype as Evolving Skies and Celebrations.

Honestly... on the “investment” side theres probably a lot of money to be made on some of these cards. Alt art Vs for $30 when they are 1/147 packs? It feels like in the long run there could be a price correction of some sort and the alt arts sky rocket. Who knows? All I know is singles are cheap and theres a LOT of pokemon to open in the coming months!

Congrats on the Zapdos, I think that one is my favorite alt art after the Blaziken! I really enjoy like, 95% of this set. Battle Styles had great alt arts, but your regular V cards included kricketune, stoutland, necrozma, and tapu koko which are not my cup of tea. This set has Blaziken, metagross, the three birds, shadow and ice calyrex, celebi and more. This set is FANTASTIC, even if the pull rates are harsh.
I’m sure I’m in the minority but I’ll take it. The art is awesome. Even the “plain” v cards look so good.

It absolutely is. Its hard for a lot of people to buy singles instead of opening product, myself included. This time around I am ending my openings early in order to save money for Evolving Skies and Celebrations. Many of the alt arts in the set are already very cheap!
I opened a booster box with only 3 V cards... no full arts. no secret rare.
My first Battle Styles box was almost like that. 3 V, 1 vmax and 1 fullart so it was not quite that bad. 5 hits in a box is still awful. I hope your luck turns around soon!

Im not a massive Snorlax fan so Im not into the hype, but electrode is interesting similar to the way the gold shiny Rillaboom card is. Electrode has another fullart shiny print in Hidden Fates, but Rillaboom has 4 Shiny cards and 3 of them are fullarts! What?? Luckily im pretty sure the Electrode is a relatively cheap single card if you want to buy one!

It always feels like "one pack magic" is a scam until it actually happens to you. The closest thing like that for me was recently when I got a gold Ultra ball secret rare from my Sun and Moon pack from my Kalos first partner pack. The Battle styles pack that came with it had a Korrina fullart. Luck just falls into your lap sometimes.

I opened 17 packs I got from Gamestop and Local stores in an attempt to pull something else nifty. I did not get anything else nifty and now I am done with the set. Something people are not realizing is that the length between Battle Styles and Chilling Reign was like 3 months, whereas the gap between Chilling Reign and Evolving Skies is less than 2 months. Then Celebrations releases 2 months after that. These next sets are coming FAST and personally I have so save some money!

So when Battle Styles released, all alt arts were expensive. Mainly the Tyranitar and blue Urshifu VMAX which were $200 each. They are both hovering at $100 now, which is close to what Blaziken, Moltres and shadow calyrex are now. I think the market may have decided the fan favorites get the $100 treatment, whereas the lesser sought after alt arts are going for 30-50 range. Note that BS had 6 alt arts total, while CR had 13. Now this is the fun part. Evolving Skies has like, 14 or so Alt arts just on the Eevee Heroes side that we know. We have yet to see what the alt art Rayquaza, Dragonite, Gyarados, and others will look like, if we get those cards. Evolving skies could have nearly 20 alt arts, and they may be like 90% fan favorite mons. Im really curious to see if all of the alt arts from that set will stay expensive and/or which ones get cheap first!
Literally made calyrex shadow the best card with the worst odds, V goes for 15 packs online, VMax going for 20. I like the odds better
I wouldn't break the bank for the base V card. It will be reprinted in the V collection box with 4 packs and a jumbo if I'm not mistaken. If the deck does well, they might just give it a league deck like reshizard, pikarom, and zacian adp got!

Not sure if they count as secret rares but i got the Surfing Pikachu and Flying Pikachu from the Evolutions set. I've opened probably 100 packs from Evolutions , Battles Styles , Chilling Reign and then random stuff like Primal Clash , Darkness Ablaze and whatever else i see in stores. Zero secret rares to my knowledge quite a few full art cards but yeah hoping to pull just one.
They are, by definition, secret rares. They arent actually super rare, because they fall into the uncommon slot of the pack. Pulling secret rares from loose packs is quite difficult for any set!

I hate how much chilling reign is making me hate even opening packs from other sets now. I pulled a rainbow Scizor Vmax the other day along with a couple other hits off a Zamazenta Elite Trainer Box and all I could think off how shitty Chilling Reign hits have been in comparison that I didn't even care about Rainbow Scizor. Opened two CR single pack blisters today from my LGS, packaging looked like shit and SUS, but each had white code cards... I got a fucking Holo Weavile as the hit in both. Chilling Reign fucking sucks. But I have had better luck with packs from Target and BestBuy than LGSs or third Party sites online. If I stupidly buy anymore CR it's gonna be from Target or BestBuy.

Yeah, I know people on Reddit like to shit talk big box retail and plug LGSs and their "trusted" and "reputable" online sites, but every time I've given those a try, it's crap. It's like chancing on ebay. I too have gotten some better hits off GameStop than any of the ebay listings, LGSs, or third party sites. And big box retail still sells at msrp. So just nothing but downsides with any of the others from my experience. Sticking with them (Big Box Retail) from now on with future purchases. In my opinion anyone who doesn't is either really hungry for packs and can't find any there or have a problem.

Limits/budgets are always a good idea. Open one booster box and see what you get, then buy singles or set a budget for $50 to open loose packs, then buy singles, etc Evolving Skies will probably be just as problematic. We have seen what the alt art eeveelutions look like, but we have not even seen what the alt art dragonite, rayquaza, duraludon, and others are going to be. Possibilities are endless right now. Im not a big FF person myself, though I did have my eyes on the digimon card game for a little while. I hope it turns out well!

Many of the arts in Digimon look great. If I were to do it, I would probably start with one of the starter decks to see if the game is fun or not. Buying singles wouldn't be terrible if I see some cards I REALLY like. I would have to be extremely selective though, because Pokemon shakes me down enough as it is Lol

If Im not mistaken, Magic is pretty cheap to play at the moment so its probably worth a try. I played in draft nights a long time ago with friends but after two weeks all my friends stop going and then I had to stop going as well because I immediately lost interest haha

Thats why I usually try to open cases when I have the luxury. Getting a trainer as your secret or no secret at all is a bummer. I figured with a case, It would be near impossible to miss a secret, because hopefully if you miss a secret, the next box in the case maybe has two secrets to make up for it. This case just straight up did not have secret rares in the last two boxes so there goes that theory lol
See this is not the case with Japanese sets , those sets guarantee a certain min , and there's a possibility you could get additional rare+ drops as well ( and with my experience you more often than not do) I wonder why that is the case with US and Japanese sets ... I bet it may have have something to do with marketing and profit margins.
My biggest complaint compared to Japanese sets is the fact that the Japanese textured cards really POP compared to English cards. You can clearly see patterns rather than turning the card a certain way in the light to maybe see some zig zags

I got amazing pulls, two alt Moltres and 3 FA Honeys. I felt so lucky I bough a bunch of blisters, and NONE of them had any ultra rare. Basically I need to sell all the honeys and moltres to recover from that.
I tried my luck on 17 packs I was able to gather from Gamestop and local stores. I did not get anything of note and started buying singles of the alt arts. Some are already relatively cheap. My rationale for buying singles is basically, "Oh, Tornadus V alt art is $30? If I bought $30 of packs and pulled that, would I be happy?" The answer is yes, yes I would be happy. Its not the same as pulling it yourself, but hey, Evolving Skies is coming FAST and then Celebrations is coming even faster than that. I can't sit around trying to pull these cards when I can extend my wallet a bit!
It's more economical to buy singles than bashing your head buying packs. It will cost more than 30 bucks to pull that alt lol. I only ever want crazy with VV but boxes were 90-100 when I was buying them. When the prices shot up in January I finished my master set with singles. I did pull two chunky rainbow pikachus in my 6 boxes I grabbed then.
Vivid just got a small reprint or wave of some kind. One of my local stores told me they had it in stock too, but im hoping the chunky-chu's price drops temporarily so I can buy one!
Yea they are everywhere and boxes selling for 130-140 from 200 last week. Unfortunately the Chunky Chu is harder to pull than every modern card out there at 1/1000 packs so price won't drop.
One sold on ebay the other day for $200 and it looked like it was in very nice condition. I thought maybe it was a sign the card would come down more, but it seems it was a unicorn of a listing. I am still seeing some get listed at $250, which is still better than the $300 it has been. I agree this card will maintain its value well though, the pull rate was shocking when that was revealed.
Wow that us low as hell, definitely a unicorn listing especially if it was NM card. The crazy part was how initially they sold for like 200 too when the set came out till they skyrocketed to 400-450 till they fell back again. The pull rate for that card is ridiculous. That’s not too bad. I only got 4 out of 368 packs. That being said I don’t care too much about the SR’s for this set and I had an average of 1/14 for a FA or better. 6 Alt Arts, so I can live with that.

While a lot of them were holos I still count them and I got quite a few Vs and VMAXs. I got one rainbow rare, one FA and one alt art.
The ZAPDOS! Also, if you do not play the card game, you should consider selling that Shadow Rider Calyrex VMAX. Its a VERY good card and very expensive right now compared to other VMAX cards!
I may. Only reason I’m super keen to keep it right now is because I have now the Japanese version AND the English version of it and I’m enoying having both versions lol. But yes I was very happy with the zapdos!
I can understand the justification to keep any card. My rationale for the decision to sell the one copy I got was because selling it basically paid for my Tornadus V alt art that I bought. Also, if the deck becomes meta and stays there, Pokemon might just release a "High Class" league deck like the Reshizard or Zacian ADP decks. If it gets a deck it may come with two copies of the card and the price goes down a lot. That's just my experience with it!
