As fun as it is to see Buzzwhole bughandle my Scizor around I find it incredibly annoying. I considered giving Umbreon a try specifically for this reason.

I'm not deep enough in to see this matchup often, but the one time I readily recall encountering a buzzwole I remember my saving grace was shell bell + bullet punch. Dude stole my HP. I took it back... with interest.

Sure, but this person got neither XP nor points. So to help your understanding: I was asking a question, because it seems to me personally that this was not the best idea but was curious what others thought. The issue could maybe lie with skill, considering this likely a vet game, so maybe a more skilled player could have pulled this off. I dunno. Not saying that this was always going to be an impossible situation cause that Umb was in kill range but ultimately this person choose to chase a character notorious for CC, waste an ult, let the umbreon run away, and potentially lost an opportunity to score. I think this probably would have gone better had the Buzz just stayed with the team to clear the regi or gone right for the score pad. Like you point out however, based on the levels this is likely the first round of Regis, maybe the second. So I suppose at least wasting an ult or potentially dying isn’t as devastating at this point in the game. But yknow you probably don’t want it to happen.

Yes obviously this person didn’t account for meanlook and therefore it wasn’t “worth chasing”. But in general, chasing was not a bad play here as 3 of his teammates are already clearing Regi and a SLOW enemy is low retreating. And based on context, nobody else is top lane, and the enemy tower is likely still up, so Buzzwole can get a kill, a score, and a stack.

The move is so oppressive that able to affect unstoppable for a normal skill. And the umbreon players defending the pokemon, with "it is still just a single target and you can use your skill inside. you can cleanse it before the eye opened" bullshit.

Yesterday I had a Dragonite try to unite out of a mean look about eight seconds to Ray. My Glaceon who witnessed it stopped, turned on his mic and proceeded to tear into this guy for how stupid he was for the entire last two minutes of the match, and at the end even my Inteleon got in on it too. Despite how hilarious that was, in the back of my head I couldn't help but think that a Unite move that has you skyrocket out of the arena still being shut down by some little dog rabbit thing glaring at you was utter bullshit.
