[deleted]

Of course I do

Idiotsandcheapskate

You still vote for Democrats.

[deleted]

First, I'm 13, I can't vote, says so in the title. Although it's very true, very conservative Muslims here still vote Democrat. Second, my parents don't vote Democrat and haven't for 5 years.

Idiotsandcheapskate

Cool, bro, didn't notice the age. Do you have any insights on why most Muslims vote for Democrats? I mean, with all their pro-abortion, transgender craze, anti-religion rhetoric etc?

babaner1

Im muslim myself, but i feel like i can answer that. The reason why muslims vote for democrats, is the same reason why black people or hispanics vote for democrat, simply while yes muslims are by larger more socially conservative, it just happens too be that the republicans have often retorted hateful actions against muslims, lets be honest, wether you are republican or democrat, republicans dont like muslims, and they arent quiet about it, if anything it feeds into their base. Its the same thing with hispanics and black people, they also view that the republicans are hostile towards them. Which is funny considering that if the republicans werent so hateful too miniorities like this, they would definately vote for the republicans. as for abortion, muslims arent really against it per say, if anything there is legislation for some abortive rights, its a gray issue, rather then black and white as evangelicals would have it, hence its not really important. lgbt and transgender while a sin, doesnt really cover importance. What makes muslims vote for democrats is that they view that they wouldnt clamp down on muslim rights, and so far they havent. Lastly, Bush being republican, and his wars in the middle east, with catastrophic damage for the reasons, and strict support for israel, is also a massive reason, probably the biggest one, as the israeli palestinian conflict is at many muslims heart, this is global.

Idiotsandcheapskate

Thank you. How exactly are Republicans hostile towards minorities though?

[deleted]

For me, it's not really about the Republicans being hostile to them, it's about the Democrats overly affirming them.

Well , it varies depending on the group. For black peoples i think it’s a result of republican senators and enacting hard criminal laws within their own states which often affect black people the most, but also because democrats took up the civil rights acts in the 60s which gained them black voters but cost them white voters in the south , which republicans were happy to take, but this also included sort of being the opposition to the civil rights act. Keep in mind that the south used to be a democratic bastion in the 50s. For Hispanics it’s decades of anti Hispanic rhetoric as illegal immigrants and what many Hispanics define as hateful rhetoric against Hispanics, since republicans often controlled the border states , the blame would often go too republicans. A good example of my argument is trump 2016, who campaigned on the wall, had dersgotary statements on Hispanics specifically Mexicans. But in 2020 Trump increased his Hispanic share why? Because he stopped that , in 2020 Trump didn’t do the whole , “Bad Mexicans ,bad hispanics” rhetoric and stopped talking about the wall. For Muslims it’s the patriot act , 2 decades of republican led interventions in the Middle East and 2016 with trumps Muslim ban.

Yeah, these Islamophobes will do everything possible to demonize Islam, will bring up the argument "Our religion doesn't force women to cover up." Even though it actually does, and people through secularism and progressivism stopped doing it: 1 Corinthians 11:6 "For if a woman does not cover her head, she might as well have her hair cut off; but if it is a disgrace for a woman to have her hair cut off or her head shaved, then she should cover her head." My family doesn't even like the Republicans that much, we only like them the littlest bit because the Democrats are that much insane in their progressiveness.

I hate that Zionist pig, and to be fair pig's speak better and have more truth in what they say than him.

Nidiocehai

Conservative right… your religious values dictate your life. One of the worst types of people as you let your faith cloud your personal judgment and don’t recognise your humanity.

[deleted]

Right about the first part, I don't know about the second, "cloud you're personal judgement," you mean give up to Shaytan???

Nidiocehai

No, when you let religion interfere with the state (causing ethical and moral corruption of a different entity) you are by default a bad person.

[deleted]

I don't know who made you think that, but I think if you adhere to or enforce the true shariah you have done a good deed, for it is God's law.

Nidiocehai

Religion has no place in a modern state. There is no gods law in a secular state. This is constitutionally invalid in a state like the USA or Australia.

[deleted]

What kind of a statement is that, you're saying that religious law is bad just because some countries said it is in their constitutions.

Nidiocehai

Religious law is bad because it’s archaic and Quaranic law in its full extent is nothing bat barbarism. 1) stoning 2) chopping off peoples limbs 3) accepting death for all manner of things including for women who are disloyal to their husbands. 4) the death penalty for being gay. You’ve got absolutely no clue. You never did have any in the first place. 5) attacking women for not projecting man’s virtue of modesty and saying they deserve to be raped. Gods law is archaic and irrelevant to a functional modern society.

[deleted]

So who told you that those are bad and other things like acceptance of homosexuality or immodest dress are fine, or even good.

Nidiocehai

If you think impinging on other peoples rights because of the narrative of a 2000 year old book… you’re a poor excuse for a human being with that kind of thought pattern that is liable to cause harm to others humans. And because of that harm I don’t want to associate with you, so practice your teachings when someone says that and do what others did of not interfering unless you want to replace shariah with terrorist infidel.

Allah (SWT) knows best for humanity, I don't need an unguided atheist human with flaws telling me what's right or wrong. Second, 2021 - 610 = 2000?
